O Lord, Remember
(Is38:1-5; Mt10:40-42)
God is omniscient.
He knows all things and
Remembers even the smallest thing.
Faith is acknowledging Him and
The life of this faith is putting effort to leave behind a remembrance with the Lord.
A remembrance refers to a good memory of the past where
One was shown from another an act of good will, kindness, love, sacrifice, rescue etc.
Thus, they try to pay back in a time of need or come to rescue from a crisis
Whether the person directly or their loved ones.
Accordingly, a "successful life would be leaving behind a good memory for many people
While a "failed life would be not being remembered by anyone.
Deceived by the serpent, the devil, Adam sinned and was banished (Ge3:6), and
The Garden became shielded by a flaming sword (Ge3:24) for
God would no longer look after him.
Abraham, the father of faith, however,
Showed kindness to the Lord who came to his tent (Ge18:3-10) and
Further, by giving his only son to God (Ge22:12),
He was remembered for generation after generation.
Because God remembered Abraham,
He sen Lot out of the midst of the overthrow
When He overthrew the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah (Ge19:29), and
Later on delivered his descendants, the Israelites,
From their slavery of 400 years in Egypt (Ex2:23-25).
The king David showed kindness to the lame man, Mephibosheth, who
Considered himself as good as a dead dog, and
Let him eat at his table always
For the sake of his father Jonathan (2Sa9:7-8).
Though he was told that he was going to die without recovering
The king Hezekiah lived 15 years longer for
God remembered how he did what was right in His eyes
In faithfulness and with a whole heart (2Ki18:3-8; Is38:3).
Though for their sake, God looked after the people of Israel and
The sanctuary where the name for the Lord God was a reminder of it,
Such remembrance, however, could not endure (Ecc1:11, 2:16).
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it in three days (Jn2:19),
Because through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would redeem the sins of all men for
God remembered the oath that He made (Mi7:18-20; Lk1:68-72).
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Through His death completed the work that the Father would remember forever and repay Him (Jn10:17-18, 12:49-50);
2) Condemned the devil who caused man to forget God (Ge3:4; 1Jn3:8); and
3) Tore His flesh and spilled HIs blood and looked after sinners (Lk1:68).
The Father raised Him up and lifted Him up to heaven, and
He is the Lamb upon the throne (Rev5:6).
The Holy Spirit came to those who received the name Yeshua (Jn1:12), and
Lets them eternally remember His blood (Jn14:26).
The man of the Spirit is he who
Puts effort to leave behind
An eternal remembrance with the Lord and His body, the church,
By doing to one of the little ones (Mt10:40-42, 25:31-46)
What is right in His eyes in faithfulness and with a whole heart (Is38:3), for
The Lord will surely save him and his household in times of need on earth and
Finally in the last day from the burning universe when the world is overthrown (Mt25:46)
O Lord,
Even if I do not leave behind any good memory
With my parents, spouse, siblings, friends¦
Let a dead dog such as I leave behind a remembrance with the church! Amen.

To Build His Glorious Church
(Mt16:16-18; Eph5:22-33)
God is the Lord of glory.
Glory comes from Him and
He lets those who know His glory go from glory to glory (2Co3:18).
Faith is knowing His glory and
The life of this faith is gloriously building up His church.
To see glory in the world,
One must become superior in his status, power, wealth and fame, for which
People strive to possess it at all cost.
This is originates from Adam, the ancestor of all men, who
Sinned wanting to be like God (Ge3:4-6) because
He was deceived by the devil, also Satan, who
Attempted to be like God but was cast down to Hades (Is14:12-15; Eze28:17).
Nevertheless, God chose a people to display His glory ” the Israelites (Is49:3).
He delivered them from their slavery and led them through the Red Sea,
While He drowned the Egyptian soldiers and their horses because
It was for Him to gain glory for Himself (Ex14:4).
God's glory that settled on Mount Sinai which
The people saw when Moses received the commandment (Ex24:16)
Later filled the sanctuary, also called the tabernacle or the temple of God (Ex40:34-35; 2Ch5:14).
At such sight, the priests were overwhelmed and the people became afraid.
In the meanwhile, the prophet spoke of the coming of the king of glory (Ps24:7-10), and thus
The interest of the Jews was set on the Temple of Jerusalem.
But Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days (Jn2:19), because
Though the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would tear down the glory shown indirectly and
With His body give glory to the Father for
He is the glory of the one and only Son (Lk2:14; Jn1:1, 14; He10:9-10).
For He knew that the Father would glorify Him (Jn8:54),
He did not seek the splendors of the world (Mt4:8-10).
Rather, He humbled Himself and willingly chose death (Jn10:18; Php2:8) to
Go from glory to glory (Lk24:16).
Thus, as He died, Jesus said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), for it was the moment for
The Son of Man to receive glory (Jn12:23-24), declaring that He:
1) As the righteous One died a glorious death in place of sinners, committing His soul to the Father (Rm5:6-8; 2Co5:14, 21);
2) Condemned the devil who attempted to take his own glory (1Jn3:8); and
3) Sprinkled His blood to birth to the souls of men, for them to become glorious children of God (Rm8:21; 1Pe1:23-24).
The Father raised Him from the dead and
His resurrection is the crown of His glorious death to arrive in glory.
The Holy Spirit whom He sent from the heavenly throne (Ac2:33)
In His name calls believers, gathers and chooses them as His church.
The church is His bride who prepares herself for the groom Christ (Rev19:7),
By washing with water through the word becoming holy
To be presented as a glorious church,
Without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish (Eph5:26-27).
Therefore, the members of the church put every effort to
Not become secularized, not make any compromise with the world (Eph4:11-16; Php3:17-21),
In order to arrive in the glorious resurrection through the glorious death (Php3:17-21).
O Lord,
On this 31st Anniversary of Church of Jesus
We have a special emotion that others know not of ”
Because we love our church,
Because we are proud of our church and
Because we had to fight to protect our church.
Even if we are segregated from the world,
Even if we are isolated from other churches,
Let Your dream of building the glorious church come true! Amen.

Be Faithful Even With Very Little
(Lk16:10-13)
God is the Owner.
He created all things and is their Owner (Ps100:3), and
He can give or take away at His own discretion (Mt25:28-29).
Faith is knowing that everything belongs to not oneself but has been entrusted to him, and
The life of this faith is about seeing ahead, being faithful even with very little.
Different from a worker, the owner is greatly interested in his things even with very little.
As such, he looks for those who are faithful and
At times, inherits all his possessions to a worker even if he is unrelated by flesh and blood.
In the beginning, while God gave Adam the right to rule over and guard the Garden of Eden (Ge2:15),
He forbid him to take from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil for
It was a reminder that God is the Owner (Ge2:17).
However, since he could not guard his wife made from his rib,
He sinned and thus was banished from the Garden (Ge2:22, 3:4-6, 24).
This was all because they were deceived by the serpent, the devil who
Left his proper domain of serving God in heaven,
Wanting to be like God (Is14:12-15; Eze28:13-14; Rev12:9).
Nevertheless, there were those on earth who were faithful with even very little (Ps101:6-8):
Joseph was faithful to his master who entrusted everything to his care and thus
Resisted the master's wife (Ge39:7-10),
Ultimately becoming the second-in-command in Egypt.
Moses looked after his own people and tried to decide on a fight between two Hebrews (Ex2:11-14),
Later being in charge of the Law of God and becoming the judge over the people (Ex18:13).
David, even at an young age,
Rescued his father's sheep from the mouth of a lion or a bear (1Sa17:34-37) and
Cut off the head of the enemy who defiled the name of the Lord (1Sa17:51),
Ultimately taking the throne of the Kingdom of Judah.
The sanctuary where the name of the Lord God was,
Also called "the earthly sanctuary (He9:1), was where
The earthly priests carried earthly offering (He9:10, 10:4) and
Faithfully served while on earth (He7:23),
While anyone mishandling any part of it was put to death (2Sa6:6-7).
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would tear down the earthly sanctuary (He9:11-12) and
Raise the sanctuary in heaven where one would serve God forever (He8:1-2).
Since the age of 12, Jesus knew what He had to do and where (Lk2:41-49):
To dwell in the Father's house doing the work of building it (He3:2) and
To lose none of the disciples given to Him but to protect them (Jn6:38-40, 17:12).
Furthermore, He faithfully fulfilled the Scriptures (Jn19:28)
For He is the faithful Son.
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Returned His breath to the Father the Owner (Mt22:21; Lk23:46);
2) Condemned the devil, the traitor, who left his proper domain (1Jn3:8); and
3) With His blood purchased souls and became their new Owner (1Pe1:18).
The Father then raised Him up and
Made Him the Owner of the heavens and the earth (Mt28:18).
The Holy Spirit came and gathered
Those who believe in the name Yeshua as God's temple, the church (1Co3:16; 1Ti3:15).
The mission of the church is to
Let the believers know that they have been entrusted and
Appoint duties for them (1Pe4:10-11).
The Christian knows that
Whatever he considers as his own, such as
His time, material, talent, family, livelihood, health or breath, or
As the church's, such as the souls entrusted, the church possession, equipment or vessels,
All belong to the Lord.
Thus he puts every effort to be faithful even with very little for
He knows that he who is faithful in that which is another's will be
Given that which is his own (Lk16:12) ” the inheritance of the kingdom of heaven.
O Lord,
Though we have said, "lord, lord with our lips,
We have been thinking what is not ours as our own, for we have the heart of a thief!
Let us examine every single thing that has been entrusted to us and
Let us strictly, honestly and transparently manage even the very little and
Finally become the faithful stewards who will inherit heaven! Amen.

The Pledge To Faithfulness
(Ps101:6-8; Rev19:11)
God is the Lord (the Master).
By His word, He created all things and is their Lord (Ps100:3), and
With His blood, He purchased souls and is their Lord (1Pe1:18-19).
He seeks the faithful on earth so that they may dwell with Him and serve Him forever (Ps101:6-8).
Faith is believing His covenant and making a relationship with Him, and
The life of this faith is risking one's life to be faithful until the end, to death.
Faithfulness or loyalty refers to
The link between a kingdom and its people, a king and his subjects, a master and his servants for:
1) There is only one lord ” only one head that rules, that one serves;
2) Sharing life and death, happiness and sadness ” having the same fate;
3) One who is trusted must do his best without deceit or betrayal.
While God put Adam in charge of the Garden and gave him the right to rule over it (Ge2:15),
He forbid the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil so that
Adam would know that God is the Master (Ge2:17).
Deceived by the devil, however,
Adam sinned and was consequently banished, for he had become a traitor (Ge3:11, 24).
Though Moses was criticized by others (Nu12:1-8),
God continued to have a relationship with him because
He was faithful as a servant in all God's house (Dt34:5; He3:5).
The tabernacle could not be thought of without Moses because:
1) He built it according to the patterns that God showed him (Ex25:8-9);
2) There were the stone tablets that he received from God (Ex25:21, 32:15-16); and
3) The sons of His brother Aaron served God there (Ex28:1).
Nevertheless, Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again three days (Jn2:19),
Because through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would put an end to the faithfulness of servants and
Reveal the faithfulness of the Son who would willingly lay down His life.
Thus, as He died, Jesus said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Laid down His life for the Father, the Lord, and was faithful to Him (Jn10:17-18);
2) Condemned the devil, the rebel, the traitor (Is14:12-15; 1Jn3:8); and
3) With His blood purchased souls and became their Lord (1Pe1:18).
The Father raised Him and He ascended to the heavenly throne from where
With the marks of faithfulness on His body
He eternally gives glory to the Father (Rev5:6, 12).
The Holy Spirit lets those who believe in the name Yeshua
Know that they have become the people of His possession, the children of God, and
The servants of Christ (Jn1:12; 1Pe2:9).
Therefore, they are baptized in His name, making the pledge to faithfulness to Him
As they repent for the things they had done in the past
As slaves of the devil (Ac2:38; Eph2:2-3; 2Pe2:19).
For the name Yeshua means faithfulness (Rev19:11),
Those who believe Him confess that:
1) Yeshua alone is their Lord ” thus, "christs and the like are antichrist;
2) They died with Him and now live with Him, belonging to the same body of life;
3) They are faithful to the church, His body, whose head is Christ.
There is only "amen to them and
With diligence and sincerity they carry out their duties (1Co4:2; 1Ti1:12, 3:8-11).
Neither liars nor double-tongued,
They are faithful witnesses (Rev3:14, 22:18-19).
Yeshua, death, faithfulness and baptism are all on one straight line.
With baptism, the Christian begins and pledges to be faithful to death for
In the last day, the traitor or the betrayer will head to hell with the devil (Mt25:11),
While the faithful to death will receive the crown of life (Rev2:10).
O Lord,
Though we have been baptized and confessed You as our Lord,
Still there is this nature of faithlessness, betrayal and rebellion within us
For we are by nature children of wrath.
O Lord,
Let us be faithful to death for Your church! Amen.

The Gathering in the Name Yeshua
(Mt18:18-20; Eph4:6)
God is the Father of all.
He is above all and in all, and
He brings units to all things (Eph1:10).
Faith is longing to be one with Him, and
The life of this faith is becoming a member of the gathering in the name Yeshua.
"All refers to the state of individual members united.
Since for a common purpose different people come together,
While they do it for their own gain, they also consider others so that
There is joy and success in the gathering.
In the beginning God made the woman from the rib He took out of Adam and
Let them be united as one flesh (Ge2:21-24),
Making them the basic unit of the human society.
After Adam was deceived by the serpent in the Garden and sinned, however,
The family became broken (Ge2:12, 4:8-9).
No human gathering could endure thereafter.
As such, though Noah's family was united while they were building the ark,
After the ark, the relationship between the father and his son became severed (Ge9:20-27).
Moreover, when men were united in building a city and a tower (Ge11:1-9),
God confused their language and scattered them.
Later on, God chose the people of Israel to
Become a nation of priesthood by giving them the Law and
Promised them the land of Canaan (Ex3:17, 19:3-6).
Furthermore, in the desert He instructed them to build
The sanctuary, a meeting place between God and man (Ex25:8),
To be in the midst of their camps for God was in their midst.
Yet, in reality, it was only the high priest who was allowed to
Enter the Most Holy Place alone to meet with Him (Ex25:21-22).
Yeshua appeared and said, "Destroy the temple and I will raise it again in three days (Jn2:19),
Because through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would tear down the wall of sin between God and men and
Make a way for them to meet with Him, for
He is the incarnate Word, God, who is one with the Father (Jn10:29-30).
Though He was struck and the disciples scattered because
The Jews understood Him as a threat to their unity as a people and a nation,
This was all according to the prophecy (Zec13:7; Mt26:31).
Thus, as He died, Yeshua said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) As the last Adam, represented "all and submitted before the Father, becoming one with the Father, all in all (1Co15:20-28, 45);
2) Destroy the work of the devil that is to separate (1Jn3:8); and
3) Sprinkled His blood and unified all men (He12:24).
The Father raised Him up and seated Him on the throne, and
Yeshua became the Lord of all.
The Holy Spirit came in the name Yeshua and
Called men and gathered them as the church (Ac2:1-4).
The church is the holy gathering where the name Yeshua is at the center.
With the purpose of eternal life,
Christians gather to worship, praise, have fellowship, communion, pray and serve,
While being considerate of one another and making sacrifice.
For it is filled with joy and gladness,
Neither persecution nor oppression nor the rulers of this world can scatter the gathering (Mt16:18).
Christianity begins with gathering and it is sustained by gathering, and
Faith is putting effort to gather and make the gathering successful.
O Lord,
Let us put our life on the line for our gathering! Amen.

Jesus, My Friend
(Jn15:9-17)
God is love (1Jn4:8).
Love comes from Him, and
For love He lays down His life (Jn15:13).
Faith is knowing His love and receiving it, and
The life of this faith is loving one another with those who love His love (Jn15:17).
Whether they are hometown friends, classmates, brothers-in-arms,
Fellow church members or even drinking buddies,
Everyone loves his friend.
There is no secret between true friends and they keep such to themselves.
They are always near each other and
They do not hold back from making sacrificing for each other.
Furthermore, different from parents, siblings or even spouses,
A friendship is based not on a fate or contract but rather on one's choice.
Yet it is influential to determine the success or failure of one's life.
Thus having good friends is a measure of one's success.
In spite of the fact that Adam, the ancestor of all men,
Considered being one with Eve, whom
He called, "bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh (Ge2:23),
After having sinned, however,
He referred to her as, "the woman you put here with me (Ge3:12).
This was due to the fact that
They had been separated by the devil (diabolos).
The history of the Bible thereafter records this tension between brothers:
Abel and Cain, Isaac and Ishmael, Jacob and Esau, Joseph and his 11 brothers, David's sons etc.
The commandments that God gave to Israel not only promised them blessings on earth
But also burdened them greatly for
They were to solve the poverty of their fellow Israelites,
Carrying on one's brother's name etc (Lev25:25-27; Dt15:7-11, 25:5-10).
While the testimony inside the sanctuary reminded them this (Ex25:21),
There also was the atoning sacrifice they gave with the scapegoat over which
Sins were confessed and released alive so that
The sins would not be remembered (Lev16:17-10, 21-22).
Introduced as the Lamb of God by the prophet (Jn1:29),
Jesus appeared and said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days (Jn2:19),
Because through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would let the heart of the Father God be known to men (Jn15:15) and
Put an end to the relationship of slaves based on fate and duty (Rm8:15) and
Establish a new relationship made by one's choice ” a friendship ”
By becoming an atoning sacrifice, the sacrifice for Azazel.
As He died silently like a sheep, Jesus said, "It is finished (Is53:7; Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Revealed the love of the Father who gave the life of His Son;
2) Condemned the devil, the separator (1Jn3:8); and
3) Laid down His life and became a friend to all men, and with His blood buried their sins forever (He10:17-18).
He resurrected and ascended to heaven,
Entering the kingdom of the the beloved Son (Col1:13).
The Holy Spirit came in the name Yeshua and
Lets those who willingly received His name know that He is their true friend.
Thus, they pour out their hearts and confess their flaws to Him.
They are happy for He is always with them (Mt28:20).
They seek His help for whatever they need for they know that He gladly hears them (Jn15:16).
Therefore, the man of the Spirit is he who
Willingly obeys His command (Jn15:10, 14, 17).
He understands his brothers, makes sacrifice to help one other,
Does not reveal others' flaws, and does not expose their secret, and
Goes out to give away this love to those who do not know it
Until he can follow his friend to the kingdom of the beloved Son (Col1:13).
O Lord,
My friend, Yeshua!
This is the success of my life ” to have such a friend!
Let me become a good friend to others
By willingly making sacrifice for them,
Keeping their secrets and taking them to my grave.
Let me become a goat for Azazel. Amen.

The Aroma of Christ
(2Co2:12-17)
God is the God of revelation.
He reveals Himself according to His will, and
He reveals Himself according to His ways.
Faith is receiving Him as such and having an experience, and
The life of this faith is giving off the aroma of Christ.
All living things have their distinct scent.
In general, people do not like unpleasant odor, decaying odor,
While they like fragrance, fresh scent, thus even adding it to food, cosmetics etc.
According to the Bible, the good scent is life while the bad scent is death.
After Adam sinned and he was banished from the Garden,
The Garden was shut down (Ge3:4-6, 24) because
God despises sin, the odor of death.
One event in history illustrated this and it was the deluge in the time of Noah.
While countless animals and humans had died and the entire earth was filled with a terrible stench,
Noah gave a burnt offering of clean animals and birds.
The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said to never curse the land again (Ge8:20-22).
God showed the way to approach Him
For man with the odor of sin and death ” in the tabernacle (Ex25:8) where
There were two types of aromas:
1) In the courtyard ” the altar of burnt sacrifice ” animal was burned ” sin and death consumed (Ex29:15-18; Lev4:24-31);
2) In the sanctuary ” the altar of incense ” the smoke of incense of spices and blood filled the Most Holy Place (Ex30:1-10).
There were regulations and breaking them was sin (Ex30:1-10; Nu16:6):
1) It was to be executed by the high priest;
2) It was to be given before the golden altar of incense, with the golden censer of incense;
3) Unauthorized incense was forbidden;
4) It was to be given throughout generations; and
5) They were to make atonement on its horns once a year with the blood of the sin offering.
Jesus appeared and said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days (Jn2:19),
Because through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would give His life as the perfect burnt offering, the eternally pleasing aroma to the Father, for
He is the incarnate Word in whom was life (Jn1:1, 4, 14).
As such, the devil and demons sensed a distinct scent from Jesus (Mt4:3; Mk1:24),
While men hated Him and eliminated Him brutally (Jn15:20).
Nevertheless, as He died, Jesus said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Gave His life, His blood as the aroma of life, eternally pleasing to the Father (Jn10:17-18; He10:5-9);
2) Condemned the origin of sin, the devil, to be burned up in hell forever (Ge3;4; Mt25:41; Rev20:14); and
3) With His body became a burnt offering to burn up the sin and death of all men (He10:11-14).
The Father raised Him to life, and
He revealed the true form of life (Jn11:25).
The Holy Spirit whom He sent
Comes to those who received His blood and
Lets them gives off the aroma of Christ:
To the believer it is an admirable aroma from life to life,
Though to the unbeliever it is a detestable odor from death to death (2Co2:14-17).
The man filled with the Holy Spirit (Eph5:18-20) is he who
Always praises and gives thanks,
Has no foul odor in his life,
Only speaks the word he received from God even in the midst of persecution (2Co2:17), and
Fills up the heavenly sanctuary with the smoke of incense of his prayer (Rev8:3-4) for
He longs to be taken up there when the Lord returns.
O Lord,
Even if we are mistreated without a cause and hated without a reason,
Let us only give off the aroma of Christ.
Even if people despise and reject us like the skunk,
Let this aroma from life to life be spread! Amen.

You Give Them Something
(Mt14:13-21)
God is abundant (Ps86:15).
There is nothing that He lacks and
He gives endlessly to those who seek (Lk9:10).
Faith is believing Him and knowing that one has become rich by Him, and
The life of this faith is endlessly giving to others.
While people like to receive rather than to give,
God abundantly gives life, grace, mercy, joy, peace, power etc.
Such attribute of God has been shown through all things since the creation (Rm1:20):
Vegetation filled the earth, stars the expanse, fish the sea and living creatures the land
All according to their species (Ge1:11-25).
Though the Garden of Eden was the highest point of abundance (Ge2:10-14),
Because Adam took the fruit which God forbid
He was shut out from it for he forgot that all things came from God (Ge2:17, 3:4-6, 24).
Nevertheless, since God's promise to Abraham regarding a seed did not change (Ge15:5),
The Israelites were exceedingly fruitful (Ex1:7) and
When they left their slavery in Egypt, they plundered the Egyptians (Ex12:36).
God led them through the vast and the dreadful wilderness (Dt8:15-16) and
Provided for them water from the rock and manna
To finally lead them to the land flowing with milk and honey (Ge17:8; Ex3:8).
The golden vase with manna inside the Most Holy Place reminded them of
The 40 years in the desert (Ex16:33-36) while
The table of showbread inside the Holy Apace reminded them of
Their conquering of Canaan for generations (Dt26:8-10).
Furthermore, the prophet filled the empty sack with flour and the empty jar with oil for
He was a man of God (2Ki4:3-6, 25).
Yeshua said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would reveal that He is the Son of God who came to give life to the full (Jn10:10).
Thus, though Jesus lived as a poor carpenter,
With two fish and five loaves of bread He fed 5000 people and 12 baskets remained (Mt14:19-21).
He also filled the two empty boats with fish (Lk5:5-7).
As He died, Yeshua said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Tore His flesh to receive from the Father's abundant treasury that opened for Him (Ge3:24; He10:20);
2) Condemned the devil who steals, kills and destroys (Ge3:5; Jn10:10); and
3) With His body absorbed the poverty of men and shed His blood and water to give life to them (2Co8:9).
The Father raised Him up and
Yeshua ascended to the throne in heaven where He reigns in abundance.
The Holy Spirit came as the gift given to
Whoever believes name (Jn1:12) and calls and asks (Ac2:38-39).
He lets them know that in the name Yeshua they have become rich (1Co2:12).
Therefore, the believer is not ashamed of poverty.
He gives what silver or gold cannot (Ac3:6-7) for
Freely he received freely he gives (Mt10:8).
The answer to prayer is the presence of God who gives to this day.
The purpose of prayer is the confirmation of what I have.
The man of prayer is he who seeks fullness to give (Lk11:5-10).
O Lord,
Thank You for giving away Your life for me!
For I have received all things in Your name,
I am not ashamed of my empty pockets but rather am proud of them.
Yeshua, I want to give and give so
Fill me up with spiritual inspiration! Amen.

Jesus Came to Seek
(Lk24:13-35)
God is living (Ps42:2).
He comes to seek those who need Him, and
He stays with those who receive Him.
Faith is receiving Him, and
The life of this faith is staying with Him and experiencing Him.
When men fall into deep despair and disappointments and cannot see ahead
Some take their own lives while others give up on themselves and live irresponsibly.
This is because after the ancestor of mankind Adam sinned,
He was banished from the Garden and greatly disappointed (Ge2:17, 3:4-5, 24).
After his son Cain's sacrifice was failed (Ge4:4-5, 8),
He killed his own brother.
Lot, on there other hand, when distressed
By the lawless acts of the men in Sodom (2Pe2:6-8) and more so
By his own choice of the city (Ge13:10-13),
Welcomed the angels who came to seek him and asked them to stay (Ge19:1-3, 29),
Consequently, he was saved from the destruction of the city.
After tending sheep for 40 lonely years
Moses was called by God (Ex3:1-4) and
Rescued the Israelites whose oppression of 430 years in Egypt was at its height (Ex3:9, 12:51).
God instructed them to build the sanctuary in the desert (Ex25:8) and
Had them camp around it some distance from it (Ex3:5; Nu2:2) to
Reminded them that God was living in their midst.
Thus even if they were taken as captives to foreign nations (Ps126),
They longed for the Temple (Da6:10) and
Their zeal for it consumed them even (Ps69:9; Jn2:17) for
They longed for the appearance of the Savior the Messiah (Ps24).
Yeshua came and said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would save His people from their sins (Mt1:21), for
He is the incarnate Word and the light of men was in Him (Jn1:1-5, 14) who
Came to seek those in despair under the Law and need the Savior (Mt9:13; Rm7:9. 23-24).
When He reached the peak of distress and died,
Yeshua said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Longed for the Father to seek His soul that was abandoned in Hades (Ps116:8; Lk23:46; He5:7-8);
2) Condemned the devil, the ruler of darkness, Hades (Is14:12-15; 1Jn3:8); and
3) Nailed the despair of men and became the source of eternal salvation for those who receive Him (He5:9; 1Pe1:23).
His resurrection is the news of greatest joy for those in despair (Lk24:20-23) because
This life will not end but that there is another life that is eternal.
The Holy Spirit came in the name Yeshua
To those who pleads Him to stay in his soul (Lk24:29-31; Jn1:12; Rev3:20) and
Lets them proclaim the good news that He is living.
While he who is furthest from Yeshua is he who does not know despair,
The blessed is the poor who welcomes Him who came to seek (Mt5:3).
For the Christian knows that the Lord came to seek him when he was in his greatest despair,
The eyes of his soul open to recognize Him and his heart burns (Lk24:32).
Therefore, he runs out to testify that Yeshua is living for
He longs to be received in the Father's house in the last day (Jn14:3).
O Lord,
In this lonely path
You walk with me and give me true joy and light¦
Now that I look back
It was In the most difficult time in my life, in my deepest despair that You came to seek me!
From now on
I will go out to seek those who are in despair and
Deliver this news of great joy ” that You are living! Amen.

Those Whom Jesus Wants
(Mk3:13-15)
God is the Head of authorities (Rm13:1).
Authorities comes from Him, and
He gives authority to those whom He wants.
Faith is acknowledging this and longing for Him, and
The life of this faith is putting effort to become those whom He wants.
When employers search for employees, singles spouses, and citizens their president,
They look for those whom they want since they must share their destiny.
Then, how much more important would it be for the king of kings
When He looks for those who will be seated with Him on the thrones in heaven?
Since the ancestor of mankind, Adam, listen to the serpent and sinned,
He disappointed God and was thus banished from the Garden (Ge3:4-6, 24).
Nevertheless, the Bible illustrates those who, while still flawed, pleased God and were used for Him.
God was not ashamed to be called the God of Abraham, the father of faith (He11:6), for
He was simple-minded and believed the word of God and obeyed Him (Ge12:1-5, 15:5-6, 22:12).
Since Moses was faithful as a servant of all God's house (He3:5) and
A very humble man, he became a mediator between God and the people (Nu12:3; 14:11-19).
David became the first king of the kingdom of Israel since
At a young age he risked his life and killed the enemy (1Sa17:34-36),
While being faithful to the end without revenging the king whom God anointed (1Sa24:8-12).
God instructed the Israelites to place
Aaron's staff before the Testimony inside the Most Holy Place (Nu17:8-10) for
God established the law that authority comes unilaterally from God.
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would reveal that He is the Head of all authority for
He is the Son of God who came according to the prophecy (Jer3:15),
With whom the Father is well pleased (Mt3:17).
As such He spoke and worked, including His death,
All according to the Father's will (Jn6:39, 10:17-18, 12:49).
He began His public life by calling on those whom He wanted, His disciples.
They were those who would be with Him
But also one who would betray Him ” all to fulfill the prophecy (Zec13:7; Jn13:26; Ac1:16).
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Returned His life to the Father, the Head of all authority, and gave Him glory (Jn10:17-18);
2) Condemned the devil who became the ruler of death by deceit (Ge2:17, 3:4; He2:14);
3) Bundled men in His blood so that they would become those whom the Father wants (1Pe1:18-19; 1Sa25:29).
After He was raised,
He sat at the right hand of God (Mk16:19; He8:1, 12:2), as the Head of all authorities.
The Holy Spirit came in the name Yeshua and
To this day seeks those whom He wants (Ac2:39).
The Christian knows that he has been called to
Take up his cross and follow Christ to be seated on the throne in heaven with Him (Mk19:28).
He is simple-minded (Mt4:18-22), active (Mt14:27-31; Lk9:52-56),
Focused (Mt5:1-2), honest (Jn1:47), and gentle .
He is able to confess his mistakes and shed tears for them (Mt26:75).
Therefore, the Lord holds on to him through trials until the end (Lk22:28-32).
O Lord,
Do you want me?
Since You have held on to me until now
Please keep holding on to me until the end and
Let me live with You forever! Amen.

Obligated to the Gospel
(Rm1:8-17)
God is the Lord of grace (Ps103:8).
Grace comes from Him, and
He gives every good and perfect gift (Jas1:17).
Faith is knowing that one is indebted to Him, and
The life of this faith paying back until death.
If anyone in debt does not feel the burden then his conscience is numbed,
While those burdened by debt still has their conscience alive.
Thus even if they do not get to pay back the principal they put effort to pay at least the interest so
They can keep their relationship with the lender and keep their credit.
Even if a man says he does not owe anyone anything as he leaves the world
He will go to hell because every man, whether he knows or not, lives by the grace of God.
Because Adam sinned
All men became slaves of the devil, slaves of sin
The result of which is death (Ge2:17; Rm6:20-21; 2Pe2:19).
The event that materialized this was the slavery of Israel in Egypt, which
Ended with the death of ever firstborn (Ge15:13; Ex12:12-13).
They were to commemorate it for generations since
By showing the blood of lamb death passed over them (Ex12:4-5).
The Law consisted of statutes and ordinances, or
Commandments and regulations regarding worship (Ex21:1; He9:1).
The commandments that revealed sin and worship (sacrifice) to redeem sin (Rm7:9) were
Reminded by the sanctuary where the testimony with the stone tablets and
The atonement cover (the mercyseat) were kept (Ex25:21).
However, Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would show the perfect grace from the eternal throne of grace for
He is the only Son of God (Jn1:14) who came as
The perfect gift of God who does not change like shifting shadows (Jas1:17).
Yet He was sold for 30 silver coins and handed over to death (Mt20:28, 27:5-9).
As He died, however, Jesus said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Died as a slave of sin waiting for the grace of the Father who would finally reveal His innocence
(Lk23:46; Rm6:20-21; 2Co5:21);
2) Condemned the devil the ungrateful one (Eze28:12-17; 1Jn3:8); and
3) Paid the price of His blood and purchased all men (1Pe1:18-19).
The Father raised Him and
Seated Him on the throne of grace (He4:15), His perfect gift for the Son, and
It is from there the Son pays back for eternity.
The Spirit of grace came from there (He10:29) to
Those who believe in His name (Jn1:12) and
Lets them know that they are now under obligation to the gospel (Rm1:14-17; 1Co2:12).
The man of the Spirit is he who
Knows that Jesus Himself paid the price of His own body
For such a lowly, unworthy, weak and incompetent man like him (Is53:5; 1Pe2:24).
Therefore, he considers his life worth nothing to him
In preaching the gospel of His grace (Ac20:23-24).
Yet even if he preaches he has nothing to boast (1Co9:16) for
It is only natural for him to believe, praise, serve and dedicate as
He longs for the day when he would be led to the throne of grace in heaven when the Lord returns.
O Lord,
Amazing grace that saved a wretch like me!
For I received 10,000 talents of grace (Mt18:24)
Whether I am happy or sad
Let me to live each day to pay back for this debt! Amen.

Jesus Is Risen!
(Mt28:1-10)
God is the Lord of life (Ac3:15).
From Him comes life, and
He raises to life those whom He wants (Jn5:21).
Life is knowing that one is raised to life by Him, and
The life of this faith is running to the end in order to be raised to life in the last day.
While the life of the dead can be informed by the size and the tombstone of his grave,
There is only decay inside of it.
The tomb where Jesus was laid, on the other hand, belonged to someone else (Mt27:57-60), and
It has a sign that says, "He is not here; He has risen (Mt28:6), for
He was not abandoned in Sheol and His body was not corrupted;
He rose from the dead for God showed Him the path of life (Ps16:9-11; Ac5:30).
All men, because of Adam, the living being, who broke the word of God (Ge2:17, 3:4-6),
Became destined for their flesh to return to dust once dead (Ge3:19),
While their spirit to be thrown into the eternal death (Rev20:14).
God gave the Law, the law of sin and death, to Israel (Rm8:2) to show them that
No one can escape the principle of sin and death (Rm5:12-14).
Even the men of great faith in the Bible have
Their bodies buried in grave:
Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David etc (Ge25:9, 49:30-33, 50:13; Dt34:6; Ac3:19).
In spite of this, however, the sanctuary where the name of the Jehovah was and
The stone tablets were inside the Testimony reminded them that
God promised them life if they obeyed the Law.
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it in three days (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would give life to all souls of men for
He is the life and the resurrection (Jn11:25).
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Obeyed the Father's common and commended His soul to the Father the Lord of life
who raises to life those whom He wills (Jn5:21, 10:17-18);
2) Condemn the devil the ruler of death (He2:14-15; 1Jn3:8), and
3) Sprinkled His blood, the imperishable seed, on all souls so that they could be born again
(Jn1:1, 4, 14; 1Pe1:23).
Jesus rose just as He said He would (Mt28:6) because
The Father raised Him from the dead (Ac2:32, 3:15, 4:10, 5:30, 13:30).
He sat on the heavenly throne and became the Lord of life (Ac3:15).
The Holy Spirit came in the name Yeshua and
Testifies about Him, His resurrection (Jn15:26).
He lets those born again in the seed of His life
Know that He will raise to life those whom He will in the last day.
The Christian is he who
Waits for His return according to what He said (Ac1:11) and
Trusts that the Lord would be with him until the very end of age (Mt28:20).
Therefore, until he can see Him with his own eyes
He worships Him and prays in His name (Mt18:30, 28:9, 16-17), and
Runs to the ends of the earth to preaches the news of His resurrection (Mt28:7-8; 2Ti4:7).
He is not here; He is risen!
O Lord,
Let this shock of Your empty tomb turn the whole world upside down, and
Let the direction of my life turn from decay to life.
As a sprout of grain comes out from the frozen field when spring comes
I long for the day when a spiritual body would sprout out of this deteriorating body!
Father, raise me and all You have given me to life in that day! Amen.

Jesus Carried the Cross
(Jn19:17-22, 28-30)
God is righteous (Ps145:17).
His word, His works and Himself are all righteous (Ps119:137, 172).
He judges and executes according to His righteousness.
Faith is believing acknowledging this and
The life of this faith is carrying one's own cross to follow Him.
The cross is the greatest burden since
It is the worse punishment for those who committed evil acts as
It causes the most pain and the greatest shame as a form of public execution.
While those who break the law in the world are punished with death of their flesh,
Those who break the law of God are punished with the death of their souls and
This is because God said to Adam the living being that
If he eats of the tee of the knowledge of good and evil he would surely die (Ge2:17).
The Law that God gave to Israel through Moses consisted of
Statutes (commandments) and ordinances (regulations regarding worship) (Ex21:1; He9:1):
1) Commandments ” revealed sin ” sinner must pay the price of sin, death (Rm7:9);
2) Worship regulations ” man's sin was laid on animal ” the animal carried the sin
(Lev16:21-22) ” the blood of the sacrifice was sprinkled on the front of the
atonement cover inside the sanctuary (Lev16:14-19).
As the sacrifice was repeated year after year, however
They lost their purity and fear (He10:1; Mal1:6), because of which
God refused to accept their sacrifice (Is1:10-13).
When it was time, according to the prophecy (Is53:3-5; Jn1:29)
Jesus the Lamb of God who would take away sin of the world came and
He said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would carry the sins of men on His body.
While Moses resented God for putting the burden of the people of Israel on him (Nu11:11-15),
Jesus came as the Son of Man willing to carry the burden in place of men (Mt11:28-30).
As He carried the cross and died on Golgotha
Jesus said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that:
1) Through the death of the Son the Father judged sin and executed according to the righteousness (Rm3:25; 1Pe2:23);
2) Condemned the devil, the origin of sin (1Jn3:8); and
3) Absorbed sin onto His body and died, carrying the burden of the sin of men (1Pe2:24).
The Father raised Him from the death and lifted Him up to the heavenly throne, and
Jesus became the righteous judge who would judge the living and the dead (2Ti4:1, 8).
The Holy Spirit lets believers know that
Jesus carried on His body the burden of their weaknesses, sadness and sin (Is53:4-5; 1Co2:12).
The man of the Spirit is determined
To put himself to death (Lk9:23-24) and
To carry the burden of others and goes out to the world for
He longs to receive the crown of righteousness when
The righteous judge appears (2Ti4:8)
O Lord,
Though a man cannot carry the sin of another (Eze18:20) but only an animal,
How could God Himself carry it for man?
How can we proclaim this amazing grace?
Let us be ready to lay down our life to run into the world to proclaim this news!
Amen.

Because He Lives
(1Co15:12-19)
God is living (Rev1:18).
He is living in His existence and His person, and
His Word is also living (He4:16; 1Pe1:25).
While religions are vague beliefs about the existence of the divine,
The Christian faith is believing in the living Word.
While the people in the world consider "this life as their one life to live and
Put all their effort to do whatever they want to do and possess whatever they want to possess,
The Christian faith life is betting this life on the fact that God is living (1Co15:19).
The devil caused Adam, the ancestor of all men, to forget this fact and
Sin by taking the forbidden fruit in the Garden, because of which
He was banished from the Garden and all men to be led to destruction (Ge2:4-6, 24; Mt25:41).
Nevertheless the Bible records of those who bet their life on the fact, "God is living:
When warned of the judgement by a flood,
Noah and his family dedicated decades of their life building the ark (He11:7);
Abraham believed that God could raise even the dead and
Sacrificed his one and only son whom he received at the age of 100 (He11:17-19);
Moses persevered because he saw Him who is invisible and
Not fearing the king's anger he left Egypt (He11:24-27); and
David bet his youth on a stone to oppose
The giant Goliath who insulted the living God (1Sa17:26, 40).
God commanded the Israelites to build the sanctuary to in their midst (Ex25:8) so that
They would remember for generations that He is living.
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days (Jn2:19),
Because through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would reveal that He is the living God who is
Before Abraham was born (Jn8:58-59) for
He is the resurrection and the life (Jn11:25).
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Bet His life on the living existence of the Father (Jn10:17-18. 12:24-25);
2) Condemned the devil who caused man to doubt the living Word of God (1Jn3:8); and
3) Redeemed the sins of men and shed His blood and gave life (Lev17:11; He9:22; 1Pe1:19).
His resurrection is the confirmation from the living Father, and
The Holy Spirit came to testify that Jesus Christ is living (Ac2:32-26, 5:30).
He lets believers know that Jesus is seated on the throne and thus
Wait patiently for His return just as He said.
The man of the Spirit is he who, like Paul,
Bets his one life on the fact that Jesus lives and
Thus willingly choosing to live a pitiful life of suffering, poverty, isolation, toil and even death or
He longs to be resurrected to life when the living Lord comes back.
O Lord,
Because You live, I am alive today.
Because You live, I can face tomorrow.
Because You live, all fear is gone.
Because You live, our suffering, sacrifice and labor are not in vain!
Amen.

Yeshua the Name of All Authority
(Mt28:16-20)
God is the Head of all authority (Rm13:1).
All authorities comes from Him and
He reigns forever with His authority.
He also gives authority those who welcome His authority.
Faith is accepting Him and also possessing His authority.
The life of this faith is knowing His authority as the greatest authority and using it.
Authority is hard to let go once possessing it since
One can exercise the power that comes from it.
Especially for the one who has the nation's supreme, governing power has
Powers of appointment, executive clemency, command the armed forces, absolute immunity etc.
Although God placed Adam in the Garden of Eden and put him in charge of it (Ge2:15),
Deceived by the devil he sinned wanting to be like God and
Consequently was banished from it (Ge3:5-6, 24) and
Lost all rights to the devil (Jn14:20; 2Pe2:19).
God called Abram and gave him the name Abraham because
A multitude of nations and kings would come out of him (Ge17:5-6).
After three generations, however,
His descendants went to Egypt and became slaves there (Ge15:13, 37:28; Ex1:1, 12:40).
Jehovah, the self-existing God of Abraham (Ex3:4-6, 14), sent Moses to
Bring His people out of Egypt (Ex3:10) and
With his staff Moses exercised his power and led them out accordingly (Ex8:5-6, 14:16).
God instructed them to build the sanctuary and place in the Most Holy Place
The Testimony with Aaron's budded staff inside of it (Nu17:10)
To remind them that only Aaron's sons had the authority to speak with God.
Furthermore, while God also anointed with authority their kings
The Northern Kingdom Israel collapsed, followed by the Southern Kingdom Judah, and
Thus the people longed for the restoration of Israel (Ac1:6).
Finally, in the house of Abraham and David came Messiah (Mt1:1, 16),
His name Yeshua means He who will "save His people from their sins (Mt1:21), and
He said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would use the authority that He received from the Father in His name.
As such, He commanded demons and drove them out, and
Also commanded the waves and calm them (Mk1:22-27, 39, 4:39-41) for
As the Son of Man He received:
1) The authority to lay down His life and the authority to take it up again (Jn10:18);
2) The authority to judge sin, the devil (Jn5:27, 12:31), and the authority to forgive sins, men (Mt9:6).
With His authority He died and said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Gave glory to the Father the Head of all authority (Php2:11);
2) Condemned the devil the ruler of death (He2:14); and
3) Redeemed all men (Mt20:28).
The Father raised Him and
Yeshua ascended to the heavenly throne and He is the Head of all authority.
The Holy Spirit came and declared the forgiveness of sin in the name Yeshua.
He lets those who received His name know that
They possess the right of His children (Jn1:12).
Furthermore, His church cannot be prevailed by the gates of Hades (Mt16:18).
Therefore, the man of the Spirit with the authority of his tongue
Declares forgiveness (Jn20:21-23),
Prays (Jn14:13-14; Ac1:8), drives out demons (Mk16:17-18), and
Uses as authority whatever he faces, whether poverty, tribulation or even death.
O Lord,
The name Yeshua ” what an authority You gave us!
I do not envy the president of the US or even his wife.
Let us all use this great authority wherever we go! Amen.

Seek First His Kingdom and His Righteousness
(Mt6:31-34)
God is the heavenly Father.
He is in heaven and inherits heaven to His children, and
Provides with heavenly things the children who are on earth.
Faith is believing Him and adoring Him, and
The life of this faith is seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness.
A man's life depends on what he prioritizes so
If he seeks first his kingdom and its law he would receive its benefits.
The Bible records the concept and the establishment of three types of kingdoms:
1) "The kingdom of heaven ” the first coming of Jesus (Mt3:2);
2) "The kingdom of God ” the coming of the Holy Spirit (Mk9:1); and
3) "Heaven (the Father's house) ” after resurrection (Jn14:2).
Though God made the Garden of Eden and gave Adam the authority to rule over it (Ge2:15),
Because he was deceived by the devil and sinned,
He lost the authority (Ge3:4-6; Jn14:30; 2Pe2:19).
Through Moses God established a kingdom of the divine,
A kingdom of priests with Israel as His people (Ex3:7-8, 19:6)
Giving them Canaan as their inheritance.
From heaven God provided for Moses who only had a staff (Ex8:5),
Pouring out calamities on to Egypt and
Delivering the Israelites out of their slavery of 430 years (Ex12:40-41).
Furthermore, He rained down food for them to survive the desert for 40 years (Ex16:12).
Finally, He brought them under His leadership by giving them the Law (Ex20:18-22).
The testimony inside the Most Holy Place of the sanctuary
Reminded this for generations since
The stone tablets, the golden vase with manna and
The budded staff of Aaron's were there (He9:4).
However, they rejected God as their king and asked for a man king (1Sa8:5-8) and
Eventually both the Kingdoms of Israel and of Judah collapsed.
For they awaited for the restoration of their kingdom and the messiah (Ac1:6),
They paid attention to the outcry of the prophet for the nearing of the kingdom of heaven (Mt3:2).
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days (Jn2:19),
Because through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would establish an eternal kingdom of the Father, and thus,
Revealed the coming of His kingdom by driving out demons (Mt12:22-28; Jn12:31, 47).
Although the people wanted to make Him their king,
Jesus refused and instead willingly chose death for His kingdom is not of this world (Jn18:36).
Thus as He died, He said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Purchased a kingdom and offered it to the Father (Rev5:9);
2) Destroyed the prince of this world, the devil (1Jn3:8); and
3) With His blood purchased a people.
He rose and sat on the heavenly throne (Mk16:9).
The Holy Spirit came in the name Yeshua,
The kingdom of God where He reigns as Christ (Ac5:31-32),
To those who received His name and
Lets them know that they are now the people of His kingdom (Jn1:12; 1Pe2:10).
The man of the Spirit is he who
Knows that he is a witness of Yeshua and thus
Goes to the ends of the earth (Ac1:8)
Seeking the expansion, the strengthening and the reigning of His kingdom for
It is his own kingdom in heaven (Lk19:11-27).
He prays for the provision from heaven
Daily bread, answers to prayer, the gifts of the Spirit and spiritual power.
O Lord,
If Jehovah's Witnesses dream of paradise earth and
Give up the world, risking arrest and imprisonment,
How much more for us, witnesses of Jesus who look forward to the kingdom in heaven?
Lord, we will go out to the world and boldly testify the gospel ”
So send us support from heaven! Amen.

The Fear of the Lord
(Ac9:31)
God is to be feared (Ps76:7).
For there is no one like Him, He is to be feared (Jer10:7), and
Those who fear Him He blesses abundantly with
Life, forgiveness, answer to prayers, mercy, healing, food, promise fulfilled etc.
To fear means to revere, to respect, and to be pressed by majesty.
While religions create divine places and images and bring out fear from men,
Our faith is knowing the Lord who is to be feared (Ps76:7), and
The life of this faith is to delight in the fear of the Lord and make it one's duty (Ecc12:13; Is11:2-3).
Because of their ancestor, Adam, sinned (Ge3:4-6, 10),
Men generally have fear for the divine.
The Bible illustrates those who testified their fear of the Lord when they were tested (He11:17):
Once Noah was warned of the judgement by a flood,
In holy fear he built an ark to save his family (He11:7);
Abraham gave his only son as a burnt offering (Ge22:12); and
Isaac gave his own life was a burnt offering (Ge31:42).
Thus, it was only natural for their descendants, the Israelites, to fear the Lord (Jer10:7) for
They saw the deliverance of the Lord and what He did to the Egyptians (Ex14:13).
The Law that they received also demanded them to fear the Lord (Ex20:18-20; Dt10:12), and
The sanctuary that they built was the house of the Lord where
In reverence they worshiped Him (Ps5:7).
While their kings were to always put a scroll of a copy of the Law before them (Dt17:18),
David who remembered all his life the death of Uzzah because of how he
mishandled the ark
Ruled in fear of the Lord (2Sa23:3), and
His son Solomon built the Temple of Jerusalem and consecrated it to the Lord.
Nevertheless, their history was the repeat of their rise and fall since
Despite the fact that they were to fear the Lord
They worshiped other gods (2Sa17:33).
According to the prophecy regarding the One on whom
The Spirit of the fear of the Lord would rest (Is11:2-3),
Yeshua came and said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would let those who fear the Father also fear the Son (Jn5:23).
As such, those who saw His great works and signs
Trembled in fear (Mt9:8; Mk4:41, 5:25; Lk7:16).
As He died, Yeshua said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) In His reverent submission to the Father's command revealed His fear for
the Father who alone can save Him from death (Jn10:17-18; He5:7);
2) Condemned the devil the proud one (Is12:14-15; Eze28:12-17); and
3) With His blood redeemed all men (Eph1:7).
He resurrected and let the doubting disciple touch His body so that
He would confess Yeshua as the Lord to fear (Jn20:27-28).
The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of the fear of the Lord came
To those who believe in His name and
Let them fear the Lord Yeshua (Is11:12; 1Co12:3).
The man of the Spirit is he who
Makes it his duty and delights in the fear of the Lord Yeshua (Ecc12:13).
The name of the Lord (Dt28:58), His body the church,
The word of the Lord (Ps119:61), and one another (Eph5:21).
Therefore, he worships, serves, prays, treats his brothers in reverence
As he does before the Lord for
Those who fear the Lord while they are on earth will
See in heaven the Lord whom they fear (Mal3:16).
O Lord,
Hear this one thing.
Let us all fear the Lord! Amen.

Draw Near To the Throne of Grace
(He4:14-16)
God is the Lord of Grace.
Grace comes from Him and
He gracious to those who long for His grace.
Faith is knowing and receiving His grace, and
The life of this faith is drawing near to the throne of grace to find grace to help in time of need.
The throne represents a king's authority to decide on matters of life or death.
It is from there the king shows his mercy on those who
Risk their life to approach him and redress their situation.
God cannot help men because there is sin that stands between God and them, since
Their ancestor, Adam, sinned and was
Banished from the Garden which became shielded by the flaming sword (Ge3:4-6, 24).
Thereafter, the site of conversation between God and men was shut down.
Nevertheless, when the people of Israel cried out to God,
Their cry of help because of their slavery in Egypt went up to God (Ex2:23, 3:9) and
God called Moses to bring them out.
God spoke to no one else but Moses (Ex10:1; Nu12:8) for
Moses took off his sandals on holy ground (Ex3:5) and
Only in a holy place one can converse with God.
By the blood of the Passover lamb the Israelite left Egypt (Ex12:12-13) and
God commanded them to build the sanctuary in the desert (Ex25:8) for
Only above the mercy seat inside the Most Holy Place
God met and spoke with them (Ex25:22).
Yet it was only with the high priest who put on the ephod (Ex28:4; 1Sa23:6, 9),
Only after the sprinkling of the blood of animal (Ex29:20), and
Only before the mercy seat where the name of God was (2Ch2:6).
Referring to the Temple of Jerusalem, also called, the house of prayer for all nations (Mk11:17),
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise again in three days (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would establish the throne of grace and
Open a new way for whosoever to draw near to seek His help (He10:19-20).
He prayed from early in the morning to late at night, wherever He could (Mk1:25; Jn11:41-42), and
Even on the last night of His public life He ended with prayer (Mt26:36-45).
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Himself in His death on the cross needed the Father's mercy and that the Father alone is the Lord of grace (He5:7);
2) Condemned the devil, the separator (1Jn3:8); and
3) Carried the weakness of man and shed His blood to make them holy through His torn flesh (Is53:4; He9:22; 1Pe2:24).
His essence is the holy Son of God (Mt16:16; Mk1:24; Jn1:1, 14) while
His duty is the Son of Man, wrapped in the weakness of man.
Therefore He is the only one Mediator between God and man, the eternal High Priest (1Ti2:5).
He resurrected and ascended to heaven and sat down on the throne, which is
What He received as grace from the Father and also
From where He shows His mercy and grace to those who
By the confidence gained through His blood draw near.
The Spirit of grace comes inside the souls made holy by the blood of Jesus and
Establishes the throne in them.
He lets them know what to pray for as He intercedes for them (Rm8:26-27).
The man of the Spirit is he who
Kneels before the name Yeshua and
Asks desperately whatever he needs, whenever, wherever (He4:16) for
He longs to finally draw near to the throne of grace in heaven in that day.
O Lord,
For You know how we are formed (Ps103:14) and
Understand the weakness of our flesh (He4:15),
You made a way for us to receive Your grace and mercy!
Let us never forsake prayer.
Let us consider our needs as our blessing and
Daily come to our knees before the name Yeshua to live by Your help! Amen.

If We Are In Our Right Mind, It Is For You
(2Co5:11-21)
God is love (1Jn4:8).
His love never changes, and
To reveal His love He pays the highest price.
Faith is being moved by His love, and
The life of this faith is being pressed by His love and becoming an ambassador of His love.
The love between two lovers can be passionate for a while but it eventually changes because
Circumstances change and if there is any loss or harm they go their separate ways.
Among different types of love in the world
The love of a parent for her child changes the least because
Even in one's right mind, being sober, it is the unconditional love that asks no questions.
The Bible tells the story of God who
Knows how man is made yet loves him and
Sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for him (1Jn4:9-11).
It also tells the story of man, Adam, the ancestor of all men, who was
Deceived by the devil (diabolos, the separator) and sinned (Ge3:4-5).
Consequently, man became separated from God and man from man (Ge2:23, 3:12),
Becoming individualistic and self-centered.
Cain blamed his brother for his failed sacrifice (Ge4:4-8) and
Killed him with his own hands.
Noah's son accused the mistake of his father who had been drunk (Ge9:21-25), for which
Noah cursed him once he became sober.
To gain the birthright from his brother (Ge25:29-34)
Jacob swindled him with a bowl of stew.
The content of the Law given to Israel was
To love God and their neighbors but revenge those who sinned against them (Dt6:5).
When they kept the laws God loved them and blessed them to prosper (Dt7:12-13),
While He repaid without holding back those who hated Him (Dt7:9-10).
Though they feared God and became hypocrites before others (Mt23:27-28; Rm8:15),
They were reminded of God's love for them by
The sanctuary with the stone tablets inside the Testimony.
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body.
He would give His life and reveal the Father's perfect love for all men (Mt5:48, 20:28).
Without any resentment or complaint He died, and said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Fulfilled the Father's will of loving sinners, even sacrificing His only Son (Jn10:17; 1Jn4:10);
2) Condemned the devil the separator (1Jn3:8); and
3) As one man died in place of all men, shedding His blood to raise them to life (Mt20:28).
The Father raised Him up and
He entered the kingdom of the Son whom He loves (Col1:13).
The Holy Spirit came and
The love of God began to be preached.
He pours out into the hearts of the believers the love of God (Rm5:5).
The Christian is he who has
Become beside himself for His love (2Co5:13-14).
Therefore, he resolves to love even those who will cause loss or harm so
When they ask for a tunic he is ready to give also his cloak,
When they force him to go a mile he is ready to go two miles and
When they slap him on his right cheek he is ready to turn the other also (Mt5:38-48).
Without asking he is ready to give unconditionally for
He deeply longs to one day
Enter the kingdom of the Son God loves.
O Lord,
Let us who have been moved by this love and have wept
Become fools who do not calculate.
Let us intentionally seek and go to those who are ungrateful, who reject and persecute us.
Let us share and preach the love of Christ! Amen.

If We Are Beside Ourselves It is For God
(2Co5:11-19)
God is holy.
His nature is holy and
The Word, the Son and the Holy Spirit who all come from Him are also holy.
Faith is believing that one has been made holy by Him, and
The life of this faith is becoming beside oneself toward Him.
Since being holy means to be "set apart, "cut apart,
It is the state of being beside oneself, apart from oneself ”
In other words, being out of mind.
Those who are out of their minds act differently than the majority of people,
Because they hear and see things that others do not.
While those among them who cannot function in society have to be isolated,
Since they have no worries or fear they may actually be happier than the rest.
The men of faith in the Bible would have all been out of their minds
If there had been no voice of God first and no promise of God after.
Noah prepared for the flood and built an ark (Ge6:13, 7:1-24);
Abraham left his country not knowing where he was going (Ge12:1; He11:8), and
Gave his only son whom he received at the age of 100 as a burnt offering (Ge22:1-13);
The Israelites who followed Moses and left Egypt (Ex3:10, 5:1) and
Walked through the Red Sea into the desert (Ex13:18-19); and
The army of Judah that gave up to fight and instead praised the Lord (2Ch20:15-23).
The sanctuary was in their midst and it was where
The ark of covenant was (Ex16:32-34), and
It testified that they heard the word of God.
Yeshua said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would reveal His holiness.
Nevertheless, He is considered perhaps the most insane man in history for
He called Himself the Son of God, equaling Himself to God (Jn10:30, 36),
Led a group of runaways and denied relationships of flesh and blood (Mt12:46-50), and
Conversed with demons, the wind, the trees etc (Mk1:24-25, 4:39, 11:14).
He also said for men to eat His flesh and drink His blood for eternal life (Jn6:54) and that
After resurrection He would return (Mt16:21, 26:64-65).
Though He did not cause any harm or loss on any person or society (Mt26:59-60),
Since the world could no longer tolerate Him, it banished Him (Mk3:22-30).
However, as He died, Yeshua said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Died according to the command testifying that the word of the Father is holy (Jn10:18, 17:17);
2) Legitimately condemned the devil who deceived Adam (Ge3:4-5); and
3) Willingly died for sinners though no one wanted Him to (Mt20:28; Jn10:17).
The Father raised Him, and
His resurrection testified that His word is true.
The Holy Spirit who comes to those who believe in His name
Lets them become beside themselves for God, for Yeshua.
Therefore, the man of the Spirit is he who
Speaks in tongues though no one understands (1Co14:2),
Speaks to demons though no one sees them, and
Presses on for the prize of the upward call though no one hears it ”
In other words, he is an unstoppable man.
O Lord,
Whatever the world says,
Let us become beside ourselves like You, Yeshua, and like Paul!
Let us toss away our rational, logical thinking and
Become more insane for You! Amen.
