Only Faith Is Certain

(He11:1-6)

God is Spirit (Jn4:24).

Though He is invisible He exists, and

His testimony is certain (Ps93:5).

Faith is believing in Him who is invisible as though He was visible (He11:27), and

The life of this faith is confidently investing in such faith.

Modern times are refer to as uncertain times for

Even if economy, science, and medicine in general continue to improve

The happiness of humans cannot be predicted.

Furthermore, because of the fall of the sense of values

The collapse of morals and ethics has created mistrust even among family members.

Self-confidence is believing in oneself and the faith of the natural people.

As it is based on statistics thus there is no guarantee.

The faith suggested by the Bible, however, is the faith in God and

Since it is based on the word of God thus there is the promise and guarantee.

Though the people in the world consider faith as the most unreliable behavior,

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, in other words, the actual thing itself and

Consequently it must be testified by what is seen (He11:3).

Rather than the word of the invisible God (Ge2:17),

Adam, the ancestor of all mankind, was attracted by

The forbidden fruit which was pleasing to the eye (Ge3:6) and sinned.

As a result he was banished from the Garden, which became hidden by the flaming shield ”

The beginning of uncertain times (Ge3:24).

Nevertheless, by faith, Noah, when warned of things yet unseen (He11:7),

His entire family invested decades of their life in building the ark and were saved.

By faith, Abraham, when instructed by God,

Left his home country even though he did not know where he was going (He11:8), and

Gave his only son as a sacrifice, but received him back from the dead (He11:17-19).

By faith, Moses did not regard for wealth and prosperity or even the king's anger,

But kept the Passover and thus passed through the Red Sea as though on dry land (He11:24-29).

The sanctuary where the testimony with the vase with manna inside was

The testimony of the Israelites who believed in Jehovah (Ex25:22; He9:4), and

Eventually became the center of their faith for generations.

Yeshua appeared and said, "Destroy this temple and upset the Jews (Jn2:19; Mt26:61), but

Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,

He would tear down the faith that believes in the visible temple where

The name of Jehovah, the God of Abraham's children was (2Ch6:5), and

Raise to a new faith that receives the name Yeshua by whoever and

Becomes a temple (Jn2:21; 1Co3:16).

He called Himself one with God (Jn10:30) and told them to believe also in Him (Jn14:1), for of which

He was accused Him of being demon-possessed and raving mad (Jn10:2-21).

As He died, Yeshua said, "It is finished (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Believed in the Father who could save Him from death and laid down His life (Jn10:17-18; He5:7);
2) Condemned the devil who caused man to doubt the word of God (Ge3:5); and
3) Tore His flesh, the veil, and put an end to the uncertain times (He10:20).

His resurrection testified that the Father's testimony is certain, and

Yeshua sat down on the heavenly throne as the author and the perfecter of faith (He12:2).

The Holy Spirit came to

Those who believe and receive the name Yeshua and

Certainly seals their faith (Eph1:13).

The Christian does not fear or despair seeing the present state of things.

Therefore, he obeys to death, gives dedication without holding back and

Prays until fulfilled for

When the Lord of faith appears again in the present world (He12:2)

He longs to see His face.

O Lord,

Whether it is our nation, workplace, money, people, family or health,

There is nothing for us to believe in.

Only faith is certain!

Give my family and all those You have given me

The gift of the Spirit, faith! Amen.
