My Soul and the Spiritual Warfare
(Eph6:10-18)

God is the God of glory.
All glory comes from Him and returns to Him.
He calls into His eternal glory those who fight and overcome for His glory (1Pe5:10).

Faith is knowing the glory of God and
The life of this faith is a life dedicated to fighting and winning, come what may, in order
To return in glory.

While a war begins by a preplan with its objectives, principal enemies, battlefields, and weaponry,
It is an endeavor in which neither side can avoid mass casualties and destruction.
The Bible is the Book of Wars (Nu21:14).
It records the spiritual warfare of spiritual beings:
The archangel Satan rebelled in the spiritual heaven wanting to be like God (Is14:12-15), and
He and his angels were contained in Hades until the judgement of the great day (2Pe2:4; Jude1:6),
As Hades is the battlefield where the spiritual warfare takes place, that is, the universe (Rev12:7-9).

That war began to break out in the Garden of Eden: In a verbal duel with the devil (Ge3:4-6),
Adam was defeated and all mankind became the devil’s slave and hell-bound (Mt25:41; 2Pe2:19).
Israel was led by Moses and by the 10 plagues, Egypt was laid to waste and Israel delivered.
Although Joshua led them and Jericho fell and they conquered Canaan,
Nations were left behind as opponents of their battle
For God to test to see whether Israel would obey the Law (Jdg3:1-4).

By the Spirit of God and for the glory of the name of the LORD (1Sa16:13),
David fought and defeated the Philistine giant Goliath, and became the King of Judah (1Sa17:36-49).
Although Solomon enjoyed the blessing of being a king of peace, free from war (Neh13:26),
By taking foreign women as wives and committing the sin of following their gods (1Ki11:1-13),
The kingdom divided into North and South in subsequent generation and
Waged war until both ultimately met their ruin:
The Northern Kingdom—722BC—by the Assyrians;
The Southern Kingdom—586BC—by the Babylonians.

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21) He would reveal:
Israel—by the law—in the name of Jehovah—victory against gentiles;
The Son of God—by the truth—in the name of Yeshua—victory against the prince of the world (Jn12:31, 16:11).

He was tempted by the devil but defeated him by the written word (Mt4:3-11) and
During His public life He drove out demons with the word of authority.
Since demons are spiritual beings, unclean spirits,
They recognized Yeshua as the Son of God (Mk1:23-27).
In response to governor Pilate’s inquiry, He declared that He is indeed a king and that
His kingdom does not belong to this world (Jn18:36–37).

Without responding to their mockery, "Are you the Christ?”
He died but said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), because
By the truth He overcame, that is, the resurrection and the life (Jn11:25, 14:6):
1)    He died according to the Father’s command and used the authority to lay down His life to take it up again (Jn10:17-18);
2)    By His authority to die He annihilated the ruler of death (He2:14-15); and
3)    His death—redeemed—all mankind—set them free (He2:14),
      His blood—for souls—the blood of the Lamb—to overcome in the spiritual warfare (Rev12:11).

He resurrected and ascended to heaven, and He is the Lamb seated on the throne,
The King of kings who was dead but is now alive for ever and ever (Rev1:18).
The Holy Spirit sends out the souls who became alive by the blood of Yeshua
Into the spiritual battlefield.

A Christian is neither a religious person nor a cultured man, but a soldier of Christ (2Ti2:3).
He is determined to win, at all cost, in the fiercest and most vile war of the last days by:
1)    Demolishing all theories, ideologies, political regimes, ecclesiastical powers, spiritual ignorance, and evil spirits in heavenly places (2Co10:3-5);
2)    Exposing the identity of demons—unclean spirits like frogs (Rev16:13–14) who confuse me-vs-foe—and expelling them in the name of Yeshua;
3)     Bringing into submission to Christ his family members—enemies by fate—through love, prayer, and patience (Mt10:34-36); and
4)     Himself—the earthly, unspiritual, carnal and demonic “Me”=the enemy of my soul (Jas3:15).

O Lord,
For the greater the fight, the greater the glory,
I will surely triumph in this spiritual warfare and
Wearing the crown of glory enter into Christ’s glory (Rev21:23-26)!
Let Church of Jesus become a victorious army, returning home safe and sound—every single one.  Amen.
