My Soul and the Spiritual Life
(Jn6:63, 68; Gal5:16-26)

God is Spirit (Jn4:24).
Though He is invisible He exists eternally and
When the time comes He will appear to those who have done according to His word of revelation.

Faith is believing Him and knowing that I am a living being (Ge2:7), and

The life of this faith is living like a living being for
Humans must live like humans, while a living being must live like a living being
As there are those who have a reputation of being alive but they are dead (Rev3:1).

The spiritual life must remain the same regardless of generation or culture for
The name of Yeshua, the word, the Bible, souls all remain the same (He13:8; 1Pe1:23).

God gave the living being Adam (Ge2:7)
The commandment regarding the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Ge2:17) for
He must live according to the word of God to live his spiritual life.
But deceived by the devil he sinned wanting to be like God (Ge3:4-6) and
As a result, all mankind received pseudo-gods, that is, religious spirits, and so
They found and adhere to various religions to this day.

The first faith by revelation is:
Jehovah—Moses—Israel—the statutes and laws—the commandments and the covenant;
•    The commandments—fleshly ordinances—if disobeyed, punished the flesh (He9:10)—even if obeyed, could not give life to the dead spirit (1Co15:22);
•    The covenant—fleshly blessings—to multiply, land, fruits, peace, defeat enemies (Lev26:3-8).

While the sanctuary was the place where they honored Jehovah (Lev26:2),
The priests and the people showed contempt for the name of Jehovah, lighting up useless fire etc.
Thus, their faith of revelation turned into a religious deed and
Israel went down the path of destruction (Mal1:6-10).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
The era where Israel was compelled to keep the law and offer sacrifices would end and
The Son will willingly keep the truth and give His own body as an offering (Mt20:28).

Christianity is not a religion but the faith by revelation for
The Word in the beginning, God who is Spirit appeared in flesh (Jn1:1-2, 14).

He equated Himself with the Father who sent Him:
Whoever believes Him believes the One who sent Him;
Whoever looks at Him sees the One who sent Him;
His word is the word of the Father who sent Him;
Those who receive His word as command and obey are promised eternal life (Jn12:44-50).

As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that:
1)     His body that is spirit died following the commandment and He completed His spiritual life (Jn10:18, 12:50);
2)     Through His death obeyed the Father’s word of revelation and judged the devil, the spirit who is now at work in disobedient sons (Eph2:2); and
3)     The death of the last Adam—redeemed the price of the sin of the first Adam—set free (1Co15:45; Eph2:1);
      His blood—the life-giving spirit—>to believers—>to become living spirits.

He resurrected and ascended to heaven and He is the Lamb on the throne, and
From the holes in His wounded body flows out the river of the water of life (Rev22:1), His blood.
The Holy Spirit lets living souls live by the Spirit and walk with the Spirit (Gal5:16-26) and
Lets living beings live as living beings.

The Christian is he who lives the spiritual life:
1)     United with Christ through baptism—lives a new life (Rm6:4; 2Co5:15);
2)     Church life—a. Worships in spirit and truth (Jn4:24; Rm12:1); b. Gathers (Mt18:20; He10:25); c. Member’s life—serves according to one’s gift (Rm12:4-11); d. Loves brothers—honoring above oneself (Rm12:10);
3)     Prayer life—without ceasing—with mind and with spirit (Mk11:17; Ac2:31, 3:1; 1Co14:14-15);
4)     Responsible for his own life—toils with his hands and eats (1Th4:11-12; 2Th3:6-11);
5)     A self-controlled life—the fruits of the Spirit—the passions and desires of the flesh are crucified (Gal5:22-24); and
6)     The life of Yeshua’s witness—the evidence of the Holy Spirit (Ac1:8).

O Lord,
Though this faith is hard to find in the world swamped by religious spirits,
We thank You that we do not have a religion but the faith by revelation!
Let us always obey the words of eternal life and never become religious (Jn6:68),
So we can all go before You when You appear in the air.
For the flesh is weak…Holy Spirit, help us!  Amen.
