I Am the Living

(2Co4:7-12)

God is living.

From everlasting to everlasting He is living and

He is the God of the living who is with those who are living (Mt22:32).

Faith is longing to be found as the living and

The life of this faith is in order to be judged as the living in the last day (2Ti4:1) always being alive before Him.

The difference between the living and the dead is that between heaven and earth.

In the midst of a war, an accident or a struggle with a disease,

The effort to prolong the life of the living would continue,

Though it would not for the dead as there is

A stark difference in the legal consequence and the treatment for them.

The Bible highlights the judgment of the living and the dead (2Ti4:1):

The living would head to the kingdom of heaven

While the dead to the second death, that is, hell (Rev20:12-15).

All the living things that God created in the beginning

Sustain their life by their breath (Ge7:21-22; Job7:7).

As such, man is no better than animals for

Once his same breath is cut off he will die (Ecc3:19).

As such, there is nothing more important for the living to know that they will die (Ecc7:2, 9:4-5).

The God of Abraham, of Isaac and of Jacob who revealed Himself to Moses (Ex3:6) had

The name I AM, that is, always existing (Ex3:14).

According to His covenant to their ancestor (Ge15:13)

God led his descendants Israel out of Egypt (Ex12:41) and

Commanded them to build a sanctuary where

They gave the blood of the sin offering of atonement (Ex30:10)

For the life of the flesh is in the blood (Lev17:11, 14).

When Aaron's staff was placed in front of the sanctuary's ark where the name Jehovah was

It budded and blossomed (Nu17:6-8).

In spite of it, however, the Israelites became corrupted

Inquiring of the mediums and spiritists, which eventually led them to their fall (Is8:19-20).

Yeshua said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days" (Jn2:19-20), because

Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,

He would become the God of the living (Lk24:38)

Not in the name Jehovah but in the Father's name Yeshua (Jn5:43) and

In place of all men be cut off from the land of the living (Is53:5-8) for

He is the living God who came in the flesh (Mt16:16; Jn1:14).

As He died, He said, "It is finished" (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Died according to the command and testified that the Father alone is the ever living God (Jn10:18);
2) Condemned the devil the origin of sin, the ruler of death (He2:14; 1Jn3:8); and
3) Redeemed the sins of all men and sprinkled His blood, the Spirit of the always living and enduring Word (Eph1:7; 1Pe1:23).

He was raised among the dead after three days (Lk24:38-46) and

Sat on the throne in heaven as the Lamb of God,

The Living One who was once dead but now alive for ever and ever (Rev1:18).

The Holy Spirit comes to those who came to life by the blood of Yeshua and

Lets them always be living.

Therefore, in the name of Yeshua

The Christian worships and comes to life before the living God and,

Prays and breaths.

He eats the living and enduring Word and moves (He4:11-13),

Proclaims the kingdom of God (2Ti4:2) and

Testifies that he is alive on this day (Jas4:15),

Putting every effort to stay alive before Him for

Faith is in present tense and

In the last day he longs to be judged before Christ as the living and

Enter the kingdom of heaven where only the living dwells.

O Lord,

In my life, how much of my time is spent living before God?

Let me no longer be spent for the matters of the dead (Lk9:60).

Let me live before the Lord who is living every minute and second! Amen.
