He Who is From the Beginning

(Jn1:1-3, 14; 1Jn2:12-17)

God is from everlasting to everlasting (Ne9:5).

He is before all things and after all things (Pr8:23), and before time and after time (Is41:4).

He lets those who have His word in them overcome the world and receive eternal life (1Jn2:22-23).

Faith is knowing Him and longing to live in His eternity.

The life of this faith is knowing that everything in life fades away therefore remaining in His word

that stands forever (1Pe1:24-25; 1Jn2:17).

Although the world considers Yeshua as a historical and even a religious figure,

The Bible illustrates that He is who is from the beginning (1Jn1:1, 2:13), the Word in the beginning (Jn1:1-3, 14).

While religions originate from nature, from humans, seeking the supernatural

The Christian faith is based on this Word from the beginning, as it is the faith by the Word.

There are two "beginnings" in the Bible:

One is the beginning of the creation, all things (Ge1:1); the other is an eternal "time" (Jn1:1).

God created the light in the beginning and began time, suggesting that

He will end all things with time (Ge1:3, 5).

While people expect the world to continue to improve and become a better place to live,

This world, the universe, has a time limit as

In the end it will become the eternal lake of fire (Rev20:14).

It is a place where the created archangel who attempted to be like God was

Cast down from heaven (Is14:14; Eze28:13) and contained until the day of destruction (2Pe3:7-13).

Satan, that is, the devil, deceived Adam, the ancestor of men, to sin (Ge2:17, 3:4-6) and

Death came to all men through him (Rm5:12).

According to God's schedule, He called Moses and revealed Himself as

"The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob," who is

"I AM THAT I AM," the self-existent, the only uncreated One (Ex3:14).

The sanctuary reminded the Israelites that Jehovah (I AM) who

Set the time, who began all things is their God who delivered them from Egypt (Is41:4).

Yeshua said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days," because

Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19),

He would reveal that He is before Abraham was born, before all things (Jn8:58; Col1:17) for

He is the Creator of all things, the One before time, from the beginning (1Jn2:13).

For the Word (ho logos) in the beginning is

God Himself who has person, glory and power (Jn1:1, 3; Is41:4)

He remains the same and His years have no end (Ps102:27),

While the authority of the Word and the authority of God are the same (Jn1:1).

As He breathed His last and died, He said, "It is finished" (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) By dying according to the Father's command put an end to time and entered the Father's time

(Lk23:46; Jn10:18; He1:1-2);
2) Judged the devil who forgot that he was a creature and challenged God (1Jn3:8); and
3) Absorbed into His body all sins that men committed in the flesh, within time (1Pe2:24) and
sprinkled His eternal redeeming blood on the souls of all men (Eph1:4, 7).

He resurrected and revealed that He is the eternal One (He1:10-12).

He ascended to the heavenly throne in the eternal time of the Father.

The Holy Spirit who comes in the name Yeshua

Testifies that Yeshua is the Word in the beginning who became flesh (Jn1:14),

That He is who is from the beginning revealed as man (1Jn2:13) and

Thus His word is the word spoken by the Word who is in the beginning (Mt17:5).

The Christian is he who knows Him who is from the beginning and

Receives the word of Yeshua as the word decided in the beginning and unchanging.

Therefore, he puts every effort for the word to move him for

This world is passing away along with its desires but

The word of the Lord stands forever (1Pe1:25) and

Finally to receive eternal life according to His promise (1Jn2:17).

O Lord,

How can this human life smaller than a speck of dust know the eternal immortal God?

Let not even one of us who are briefly on this time train go back to the world for its desires.

Rather, let us all get on the train bound for the eternal Father's house when the world ends!

Amen.
