Keep Watch and Be Ready
(Mt24:33-51)
God is faithful and does no wrong (Dt32:4).
He never forgets what He said (Nu23:19), and
He surely acts according to what He said.
Faith is believing that He fulfills His prophecies and keeps His covenants, and
The life of this faith is preparing for the day He returns according to His word.
In spite of the fact that the coming of the Son of Man refers to
The return of the God who came in flesh (Ac1:11) and
The Bible, the word of the prophecy, warns that He is coming soon (Rev22:7, 12, 20),
Liberal theology treats it as just a metaphor and people simply do not believe it (Ecc9:12).
For the devil deceived himself (Is14:12-15)
He caused Adam to doubt and sin, because of which his spirit died (Ge2:17, 3:4-5).
When warned of the flood, Noah prepared an ark and
He and his family were saved (Ge6:13-22, 7:9-24; He11:7).
Abraham was the name that childless Abram received from God (Ge15:2-6, 17:5) as
He would be the father of many nations (Ge17:4) and
As a sign of God returning to him, Abraham received a seed, Isaac, at the age of 100 (Ge18:10) and
The prophecy of his descendants returning to the promised land
After four generations of living in a country not of their own (Ge15:13-16).
The Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread and the sanctuary (Ex12:11-13, 13:6-7), which
God gave as a covenant to Israel (He8:9), reminded them that
They left Egypt in haste on the day it turned 430 years according to the prophecy (Ex12:41).
However, they eventually became unruly against the faithful God (Hos11:12), for which
The prophets warned of God’s coming retribution for all their detestable practices (Eze7:8),
The coming great and dreadful day of the Lord (Mal4:5-6).
According to the prophecy, the last prophet, John the Baptist appeared and
Prepared the people for the Messiah who was to come after him (Mt3:1-2, 7-12; Lk1:16-17).
Yeshua came and said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would fulfill the Prophets and the Law (Mt11:13) for
He is the Word in the beginning who began the world (Jn1:1, 3) who
Appeared as the Son in the last days (He1:2)
To end the world by His word (2Pe3:7).
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Died as the last Adam and fulfilled the faithful Father’s prophecy (Ge2:17; 1Co15:45);
2) Condemned the devil who caused doubt (Ge3:4; 1Jn3:8); and
3) Poured out the blood of the covenant for the forgiveness of sins (Mt26:28).
The Father raised Him and fulfilled the prophecy for the Son (Jn10:18).
According to the promise,
The Holy Spirit comes by the Father and the Son (Jn14:26, 15:26)
To those who believe in the name Yeshua and
Reminds them Yeshua’s words of prophecy and covenant, that is, His return (Mt16:27; Rev22:20).
The man inspired by the Spirit is he who
Believes in Yeshua’s prophecy of His return and His promise of taking him back and
Seeing the signs knows that the Lord is near, right at the door (Mt24:33).
Therefore, in order to not be excluded from the forthcoming rapture (1Th4:15-18),
He does not get drunk with the world but rather
Keeps watch and prepares for the day that is near (Mt24:45-51) by
Staying awake and praying,
Repenting in haste (Rev2:16, 21),
Doing the work of an evangelist (2Ti4:1-5) and
Remaining faithful to the Master’s work, the work of His church.
O Lord,
Though You clearly show us the signs that the day of Your return is imminent
Why do we still not believe?
If a dog can risk his own life to be faithful to the work given to him
How much more for us to be faithful for Your work, for the souls given to us?
There is no time.
Let us all wake up and run.
Let us be faithful to death for the Master’s work and endure until You take us back!
Amen.

Glory and Peace
(Is9:6; Lk2:8-14)
God is worthy to receive glory.
Glory comes from Him and returns to Him (Is24:16; Jn1:14) and
He repays those who give glory to Him with peace (Lk2:14).
Faith is welcoming the peace He gives and longing for it.
The life of this faith is passionately giving Him glory and overcoming all things (Rm8:34-36).
To have glory, there must be victory first, and to have victory there must be a battle first;
For peace to be welcomed there must be a disaster before, and before a disaster is a battle.
Although no one likes destruction and casualties for all fear them,
There has never been a moment in history where there was no war.
Despite the fact that, deceived by the serpent, the devil,
Adam the ancestor of mankind sinned (Ge3:4) and all men became slaves of the devil (2Pe2:19),
The greatest battle between the offspring of the serpent and
The offspring of the woman “” and His victory “” was declared (Ge3:15).
Through the events of the exodus and the Red Sea
God demonstrated to men how He Himself would fight for them (Ex14:14).
Thereafter, the history of Israel became that of wars (Nu21:14) as
They faced endless battles and longed for peace.
The temple where the name of the Lord God was (2Ch6:6)
Reminded them the battle belonged to the Lord (1Sa17:47) and
The prophecy regarding the appearance of the King who would be mighty in battle (Ps24:8).
When it was time, the Son of God came to the world born of a virgin
A baby on whose shoulders was the government in the name Yeshua (Is9:6; Mt1:20-21), and
He said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would fight and triumph and give glory to God and peace to men (Lk2:14)
For He came as the kingdom of heaven (Mt3:2),
The Word in the beginning, the glory of the One and Only, God’s strategy for victory (Jn1:1, 14).
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Laid down His life using His body as a weapon to overcome and glorified the Father (Jn10:17-18; Php2:6-11);
2) Through His death destroyed the power of death (He2:14; 1Jn3:8); and
3) Tore His flesh destroying the walls of prison and released the bound (Is61:1; He2:15).
The Father raised Him up and Yeshua entered through the triumphal gates of heaven and
Sat at the right hand of the Majesty (Mk16:19; He12:2).
The Holy Spirit whom He sent
Comes to those who welcome and believe the name Yeshua (Jn1:12) and
Helps them fight their remaining battle (Rm8:26).
The Christian is he who follows his Leader Jesus Christ and
Fights his own fight and overcomes by
His determination to fight to death and not hold back his life, his body.
He breaks whatever the obstacle is before him “”
Whether poverty, sickness, persecutions (Rm8:34-36),
Fleshly desires, shame or suffering (Is53:7; Rm8:8; Eph6:12; He12:7) “”
For no one can break the peace that is in him and
He longs to finally enter through the triumphal gates of
The kingdom of peace in that day (Rev21:24-26, 22:14).
O Lord,
Let us not hold back our bodies but
Use them as our weapons to deny ourselves.
Help us break through whatever is in our way and overcome our battles.
Let the peace within our hearts overflow like a river! Amen.

Out of Our Minds For the Lord
(2Co5:11-21)
God is love (1Jn4:8).
For those whom He loves
There is nothing that He cannot do, nothing that He holds back (Rm8:32), and
He lets them be where He is (Jn17:24).
Faith is being moved by His love and
The life of this faith is becoming His ambassador and testifying His love to the world (2Co5:20).
While behaviors that are seen as “irrational,” “illogical” or “unusual” are called “crazy,” and
Those who become immersed into doing certain things are called “maniacs,”
In reality such people who are crazy about something are happy and
May even be able to accomplish something in the end.
The Bible tells the crazy love story of God (1Co1:25) for
He gave His one and only Son to express His love for men (Tit3:3-4).
As such, when God drove out Adam from the Garden
After he was deceived by the devil and sinned (Ge3:4-6)
God clothed him in garments of skin (Ge3:21).
For they were loved by God for His love for their ancestors (Dt4:37),
The Israelites were delivered from their slavery in Egypt.
Abraham who did not withhold his only son (Ge22:12),
Jacob who seized the birthright of the firstborn (Ge25:33; Mal1:2), and
Moses who chose to be mistreated along with the people of God
Rather than to enjoy the splendors of Egypt (He11:24-27)
All were considered out of their minds by the world for
They believed in Him who is invisible.
However, even after seeing the signs of the exodus and the Red Sea,
Almost all of the Israelites fell in the desert and died for
They did not love the Lord God (Dt6:4; Jn5:42)
In spite of the fact He loved them and gave them the Law to do so (Dt33:2-4).
Although they were to also love the sanctuary where the name of Jehovah (Ps26:8, 84:1) was
They rather committed wickedness there (Jer11:15).
Thus God resolved to never love them again (Hos9:15).
Yet He would heal their waywardness (Hos14:4) and
Love them by sending His one and only Son (Jn3:16).
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19-21), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would love not just Israel but all mankind by becoming an atoning sacrifice for them (1Jn4:9-10).
Even as He was accused of being out of mind for driving out demons (Mt9:34),
He loved His disciples to the end (Jn13:1) and wanted them to be where He is (Jn17:24).
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Kept the command and remained in the Father’s love (Jn10:17, 15:10);
2) Condemned the devil the separator (Ge3:4-6; 1Jn3:8); and
3) Loved all men and gave His life to them (Mt20:28; Jn15:9, 13).
He resurrected and was taken up to the kingdom of love (Col1:13).
The Holy Spirit came in the name Yeshua to believers and
Pours out into their hearts God’s love (Rm5:5).
The Christian is he who
Becomes compelled by the love of Christ and thus lives for the One who died for him (2Co5:14-15).
There is nothing that he worries or fears for
Nothing can separate him from the love of God in Christ (Rm8:25-29), and
He becomes out of his mind
Only for Yeshua, the Truth, life (1Pe3:10),
The church, the gathering in His name, fellow members,
Heaven where his beloved Lord is and the Day of the Lord.
O Lord,
Are You in Your right mind?
How can You love people like us?
Let us repent and go back to our first love, our first passion for You (Rev2:4-5).
Let us all become even more crazy for Your love! Amen.

Renew A Right Spirit Within Me
(Ps51:1-19; 1Jn1:8-10)
God is upright (Dt32:4).
His Word, precepts and regulations are all right and true (Neh9:13; Ps19:8, 33:4), and
He judges with His uprightness (Ps9:8).
Furthermore, He lives with the upright and takes the upright into His confidence (Ps140:13; Pr3:32).
Faith is acknowledging Him and listening to His Word, and
The life of this faith is about neither being deceived nor deceiving in order to see His face in that day (Ps11:7).
Being “upright” refers to being the same inside and out.
While everyone likes to deal with the upright
No one wants to deal with hypocrites, those two-faced.
Would God who observes the heart see the faces of those with deceit (cf. Ps11:7)?
Sin refers to being deceived (Rm7:11) as
Satan deceived himself because of his pride (Jer49:16; Eze28:17) and
Deceived Eve who then deceived Adam to take the forbidden fruit (Ge3:4-6; 2Co11:3).
Thereafter, Adam became a deceived spirit
Destined to deceive and be deceived in the world (Pr14:8; 2Ti3:13).
While through the exodus, the Israelites knew that it is impossible for God to lie (He6:18),
They remained stiff-necked prone to be deceived (Ex33:3-9).
Thus, God gave them the upright Law to not be deceived (Neh9:13; Ps33:4) and
Commanded them to build the sanctuary which reminded them of this.
In spite of it, however, the priests and the prophets were godless and wicked,
Not turning the people from their wickedness to avoid curse (Jer23:9-14).
David, on the other hand, was allowed to keep his throne until the end for
When he was warned of his sin by the prophet he was contrite and repented, and
He had done what was right in the eyes of the Lord (1Ki15:5).
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would purify and revive the heart of the contrite (Is57:15-16) for
He is the upright Word, the Truth (Jn1:1, 14, 14:6) who had no deceit in His mouth (Is53:7-9).
Yet people did not listen to Him for their father was the father of lies, the devil (Jn8:43-47).
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1)Testified that the Father alone is upright by laying down His life (Ps33:4; Jn10:18);
2) By dying as Adam allowed the devil to destroy himself by his own craftiness (Job5:13; 1Co15:45); and
3) Redeemed the sins of all men and sprinkled His blood and purified their souls (Mt20:28).
He resurrected and
Sat on the heavenly throne where He judges with uprightness (Ps9:8; Rev21:5).
The Holy Spirit, the Right Spirit, comes in the name Yeshua
To renew the upright souls born again in His blood.
He leads them away from the world and gathers them into the church so that
They no longer deceive or are deceived (2Ti3:13).
For prayer is the most upright moment for his soul before the fiery eyes of God,
With a broken a contrite heart (Ps51:17)
The Christian exposes any deceit within him (Jas4:8-9; 1Jn1:8-10),
Such as deceiving himself because of his pride (1Co3:18),
Deceiving himself merely listening to the Word (Jas1:22-25) and
Not putting a tight rein on his tongue to make his godliness meaningless (Jas1:26).
He hopes to not be cut off from the fellowship with the Lord while alive (Ps23:2-3) and
Finally see His face after death (Ps11:7).
O Lord,
Though my soul longs for the upright Word even if it is painful and difficult to hear,
My ears still detest hearing it (Ams5:10) “”
Until when do I deceive myself?
Lord,
Have mercy on me and renew a right spirit within me! Amen.

The Wise Builder
(Ex25:8-9; 1Co3:9-15)
God is the Builder.
He builds the best building on the best foundation and
Dwells forever with whom He loves.
Faith is longing to live with the beloved God and
The life of this faith is building oneself with the best on the foundation given by grace (Jude1:20).
Architecture is appealing
Since it is creating something out of nothing and thus one can materialize his dream.
However, it is an arduous process involving a great investment for
Preparing the foundation, funds, design, construction etc.
More importantly, any building on a shaky ground will eventually come down.
After he was deceived and sinned, Adam was banished from the Garden (Ge3:4-6, 24) and
All men thereafter became wanderers (Ge4:12).
Following God’s command, Abram left his country and went into Canaan (Ge12:1, 5-6) and
Dwelled in the land promised for him and his descendants.
Yet he lived like a stranger in a foreign country living in tents for
He was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God (He11:9-10).
While the Israelites’ migration into Egypt and their exodus after four generations (Ge15:13)
All demonstrated the reality of all men as nomads,
The poles for the ark were to remain in the rings of the ark and not be removed (Ex25:15)
Reminding them the mobility of the sanctuary.
Furthermore, even after Solomon built the greatest building on earth, the Temple of Jerusalem
The ark was to remain mobile (2Ch4:19; 5:1, 9) for
It was not an enduring city and they were looking forward to a city that is to come (He13:14).
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19-22), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would build the greatest building not made with human hands
On the foundation that is not of this creation (He9:11) for
The architect and the builder in the beginning
Came to become the precious foundation (Is28:16; 1Co3:11).
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) According to the plan before the creation (Jn14:2) sprinkled His blood and completed
the Father’s house (Lev16:4, 14-16; He9:22-23; Rev21:1-2);
2) Judged the devil who defiled heaven (Eze28:17; 1Jn3:8); and
3) By grace redeemed the sins of men (Eph1:7).
He rose and ascended to a new heaven and a new earth (Rev21:1) for
He is faithful as the Son over God’s house (He3:2-6).
The Holy Spirit who came in the name Yeshua
Enters the souls of believers and
Opens their eyes to see the best foundation given by grace.
The Christian is a wise builder.
To build a house that will not burn in fire (1Co3:12-15),
A house on earth that will not shake
When the heavens and the earth will shake (He12:26),
He invests his best, such as time, materials, talent, physical strength, breath etc
Without holding back for
It will be the house where his soul and the Lord whom he loves will dwell forever.
O Lord,
Where there is no more pain, no more sadness, no more suffering
No more tears, no more sin, no more death”¦
It’s all because of You, because of Your blood!
Oh I will see You face to face and
We will live together in the Father’s house”¦
Lord, make us all wise builders! Amen.

Grace and Gifts
(Rm12:3-8)
God is abundant (2Co9:8).
There is nothing that He lacks and
He gives and gives to those who long for Him.
Faith is longing for His gifts and
The life of this faith is earnestly desiring and seeking gifts, and using them for His kingdom, His church.
While the giver wants to give even more when the receiver rejoices, boasts and uses the gift,
He rather wishes to take back when the receiver does not (Mt25:28-29).
Since their ancestor Adam was deceived by the devil and sinned (Ge2:17, 3:4-6),
All men lost the abundance of the Garden of Eden (Ge3:24) and
The price of sin, death, came to their souls and the flesh to return to dust (Ge3:19).
Though Esau was given the birthright as the firstborn (Ge25:32-34),
Because he did not think much of it he sold it for a single meal and was
Thus abandoned by God (He12:16-17).
Jacob, on the other hand, once seizing the birthright which he had longed for
Finally received the blessed name, Israel (Ge32:27-29).
By grace, after their slavery of 430 years
The Israelites plundered the Egyptians who gave them what they asked for and left Egypt,
Even taking possession of the land of Canaan subsequently (Ge15:14; Ex12:36).
The sanctuary that was built with the goods they received by grace
Thus had a great meaning for those who longed for the restoration of their kingdom.
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19), and was
Hated by the Jews and led away to death (Mt26:61).
However, through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would give the living water and those who drink will never thirst for
He is the gift of God who came to those who seek Him (Jn4:10, 7:37-38).
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Finally took possession of the Father’s gift for the Son (He1:2);
2) Condemned the devil the ungrateful one (Eze28:12-17; 1Jn3:8); and
3) By grace poured out blood and water for all men (Jn19:34).
He rose and sat on the heavenly throne.
The Holy Spirit came from heaven as a gift (Ac2:38)
To those who received the gift of God given through His torn flesh and long for Him.
He gives gifts to them (Ac1:8, 2:1-4):
Different kinds of gifts, service and work (1Co12:4-11).
Grace “” the only begotten Son “” to whosoever “” to boast (1Co1:26-29; Eph2:9);
Gifts “” the manifestation of the Holy Spirit “” each kind “” to use (1Co12:7).
The Christian is he who
Loves and eagerly desires, prays and receives gifts (1Co14:1; 2Co1:11).
As a faithful steward of God’s grace in its various forms (Rm12:6-8; 1Pe4:10-11),
He preaches the gospel to save souls (1Ti4:16) and
For the gospel he is able to receive suffering (2Ti1:6-8).
O Lord,
If it is a gift that You gave us,
Even if others call us crazy or even drunk on new wine,
We do not care!
Even if our tongues become sore
Let us keep praying in tongues all day.
Let us ask and ask for whatever the gift so that
We may use them for Your kingdom and Your church! Amen.

What Shall I Return To the Lord For All His Goodness?
(Ps116:1-19)
God is gracious.
Grace comes from Him and
He overflows the thanksgiving of those who give thanks for His grace.
Faith is knowing all things as His grace and longing to repay Him, and
The life of this faith is about giving thanks and expressing it regardless of one’s circumstance.
While some people may passively express their thanksgiving compared to others
Showing no response or even being ungrateful for the benefits from gifts, rescue, sacrifice etc would
Keep them from receiving benefit from anyone again.
Rather than being content with what God gave him (Ge2:16),
Adam was deceived by the devil and ate the forbidden fruit, for which he was banished (Ge3:3-6, 23)
Destined to live under the curse and head to hell with the devil (Ge3:17; Mt25:41).
When his offering was not received by God
Cain became angry and killed his own brother whose offering was received, and
It was because he misunderstood the true meaning of thanksgiving (Ge4:3-8; He11:4).
God instructed the Israelites the regulation for thank offering (Lev7:12) for
It was about time for them to gather the crops of the land which they had inherited (Lev23:39) for
They had been rescued from the death of every firstborn, delivered from the slavery in Egypt,
Crossed the sea like dry land, and passed through the desert for 40 years.
The sanctuary where the name Jehovah was
Reminded them all the reasons to be thankful for,
Such as receiving the Law, being saved from the hands of their enemies,
Becoming God’s people, their God being the God of all gods and
For His holy name etc (Ps118:23, 136:1-26).
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would become the perfect and eternal thank offering
Not in the name Jehovah but the name Yeshua,
Through the work of not the hand of God (Ps8:3, 138:7) but
The Son of God Himself with His body (Is53:5; 1Pe2:24) for
He is the incarnate Word in the beginning, grace upon grace (Jn1:1, 14, 16).
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) As His life was ebbing away gave it as the perfect thank offering to the gracious Father (Jn2:7; He1:2);
2) Judged the ungrateful devil (Is14:12-15; Eze28:12-17); and
3) Sprinkled His redeeming blood on souls as His grace (Eph1:7).
He resurrected and sat on the heavenly throne as the Lamb of God who was slain (Rev5:6) and
Gives thanks to the Father forever for raising Him among the dead and also
Forever receives thanks from those who by His grace came to life (Rev11:17).
The Holy Spirit comes to those who received God’s grace in Christ Yeshua (1Co1:4) and
Let them overflow with thanksgiving from deep within their souls (1Co2:12) for
What the only begotten Son suffered in His flesh (Is53:5; 2Co8:9),
The forgiveness of sin (Lk7:47), the gift of the Holy Spirit (Ac2:38),
The hope of resurrection, the name Yeshua etc, that is,
Grace upon grace, thanksgiving upon thanksgiving (Jn1:16).
The Christian, therefore, whatever test may come his way (2Co4:8-9)
Does not lose thanksgiving for
He is forever thankful for the fact that Yeshua is his God, his Lord (Jn20:28),
His King and his Father for
He longs to enter the gates of heaven with thanksgiving in that day (Ps100).
O Lord,
Some say You are just a man but
I know You are my God, my Lord, my King and my Father!
I will always thank You and shout Your name in all the earth.
Thank you, Yeshua! Amen.

The Gracious Speech
(Ps37:37; Col4:2-6)
God is the God of peace (1Co14:33).
He makes peace in His high heaven (Job25:2) and
Gives peace to those who make peace (Ps37:37).
Faith is knowing as grace His call to live in peace (1Co7:15), and
The life of this faith is putting effort to live in and make peace (Mt5:9; Rm14:19).
Humans communicate and make relationships by language.
While their worth is evaluated by their usage of language,
Their success or failure is is also influenced by language.
How much more important would it be for the mouth of the man who knows God’s grace
To speak gracious speech?
The beginning of trouble was the separator, the devil.
As an archangel in heaven, he said in his heart he wanted to be like God but was instead
Cast down to Hades to be contained until the great day of judgment (Is14:12-15; Jude1:6).
He then deceived Adam the ancestor of mankind to sin and made them his slaves (2Pe2:19),
Causing discord between God and man, among men, and between man and all things.
Nevertheless, God called Adam and clothed him in garments of skin (Ge3:21),
Showing that by grace He would in the future send a sign of peace to all men.
God made as His people the Israelites who had been slaves in Egypt (Ex3:10) and
It was a prelude to the restoration of the relationship between God and mankind.
He gave them the Law with its commands and regulations,
To reveal that they had become hostile enemies of God because of sin (Eph2:14; Col1:21).
Although the high priest entered the Most Holy Place through the veil once every year and
Sprinkled the blood of sacrifice on the front of the mercy seat above the ark (Ex25:22; Lev16:14)
To reconcile sinners to God
It was only a shadow of the eternal peace to come in the future (He10:1).
Yeshua came and said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would become the only Mediator between God and men (1Ti2:5) for
He is the incarnate Word from the beginning (Jn1:1, 14), the prophesied Prince of peace (Is9:6) who
Came as the Son of Man, the Truth who does not condemn (Jn8:11).
As He died like a silent lamb, the veil in the Temple of Jerusalem tore (Lk23:45) and
He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Gave His life to the Father as atoning sacrifice, a peace offering (Is53:7; 1Jn4:10);
2) Judged the separator, the devil (Ge3:4-6; 1Jn3:8); and
3) Swallowed the sin of mankind and died (He7:27; Mt27:50), tearing down the wall of hostility
and with His blood reconciled all things to God (Col1:20; He10:20).
He resurrected and sat on the heavenly throne as the Prince of peace (He7:2).
For ages He reigns in and with peace.
The Holy Spirit whom He sent comes to
Those who confess to be condemned 100 percent by the Law and
Thus received His grace 100 percent (Jas2:10-11).
He gives them a ministry of reconciliation (2Co5:18).
The Christian speaks what he ought to speak (Col4:6):
Delivering the good news of peace to strangers (Ac10:36; Rm5:1),
While making peace with brothers through his gracious speech (Mt5:9; He12:14).
He does not condemn, gossip or judge them (Pr11:13, 20:19; Rm14:4; 1Ti5:13; Jas3:5-12) but
Rather covers their mistakes for
He longs to make peace with all things on earth and
Finally enjoy eternal peace in heaven.
O Lord,
This small tongue!
Let me keep a tight rein on it (Jas1:26) and
Let me become a peacemaker! Amen.

Serve the Lord Your God
(1Sa12:24; He9:11-14)
God is the Master.
With His blood His purchased souls and is their Owner and
He lets those who on earth faithfully serve Him as their Master dwell with Him and serve Him there
(Ps101:6).
Faith is knowing the Master that I need to serve is God and
The life of this faith is best serving the Lord Christ (Col3:24).
God wants to be served by not angels or men or any creation
But the Son of God, the King of kings forever.
The position of the one served determines the status of the one who serves,
While the status of the one who serves determines the position of the one served.
Although Satan held the position of serving God,
Because he became proud he wanted to be served by other angels and so he
Left his proper position as an archangel (Eze28:12-17).
God contained him in Hades (the universe) until the great day of judgement (Is14:12-15; Jude1:6).
Deceived by Satan, the devil,
The ancestor of all men, Adam, sinned by wanting to be like God (Ge3:4-6) and
All men became his slaves bound for hell with him (Mt25:41).
Although the Israelites were delivered from their slavery of 430 years in Egypt and
Called a kingdom of priests (Ex19:6), a holy people and ministers of God (Dt7:6; Is61:6),
When they encountered the Red Sea, they cried to go back and serve the Egyptians (Ex14:11-13).
God gave them the commandment to not serve idols but only serve the Lord (Ex20:5, 23:24).
It also had the ordinance for the service to God (He9:1):
The sanctuary where they serve the Lord, Jehovah;
The offering of spotless, blameless and clean animals; and
The priesthood of the Levites and Aaron’s sons.
The Levites “” in the tent of meeting “” with various services for worship (Nu8:19, 24);
Aaron’s sons “” inside the (first) curtain “” the service of priesthood as a gift (Nu18:7; He9:6).
Anyone else giving sacrifice on his own was to be put to death, as Korah and his sons (Nu16:31-35).
After Joshua conquered Canaan,
He commanded the children of Israel born in the wilderness
To choose for themselves whom they will serve and that
They ought to serve the Lord only (Jos24:15).
The destruction of Israel came, however, since they abandoned the Lord and
Delighted in serving other gods, angels who were made to serve (1Sa8:8; Ac7:42).
Furthermore, the priests showed contempt for sacrifices (Mal1:6-14; 2:1-3).
According to the prophecy, the day when it will be the same
For priests as for the people, for the master as for the servants (Is24:2) came and
Yeshua appeared and said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19).
He angered the priests but through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would in not the name Jehovah but the name Yeshua the Father’s name (Jn5:43),
With not a copy or a shadow but the true image (He8:5, 9:9),
Through not the Levite priest who has the weakness of sin and death (He7:23) but
The Son the perfect eternal High Priest serve the Father (He7:28).
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Gave His life and best served the Father (Mt20:28; Jn10:17-18; He9:11-14);
2) Judged the devil who left his proper position of serving (Ge3:4-6; Jude1:6); and
3) Gave His life as a ransom for all men (Mt20:28).
He resurrected and ascended to heaven and sat on the heavenly throne as the King of kings.
As the High Priest He serves the Father eternally (He9:23-25; Php2:9-11).
The Holy Spirit comes as the High Priest to
The souls of believers now God’s temple (1Co3:16) and
Makes them ministers of the Lord Christ (Php3:3).
The Christian is he who
Voluntarily serves God, the Lord Christ (Col3:24; He9:14; 1Pe2:5),
Serves the church (Eph4:12), its members (Rm12:10-11; He13:16) and
The Lord’s servants as one serves the Lord (1Co16:15; 2Co8:4; Gal6:6; Eph6:7).
On earth he serves humbly and faithfully according to the gift he received (1Pe4:10) for
He longs to eternally serve the Lord Christ in His dwelling place (Mt20:26).
O Lord,
Who am I that You give me this chance to serve the King of kings, Lord of lords!
For my many sins have been forgiven (Lk7:36-50)
Let me serve You in tears and in honor.
Let us all make history as those who to death serve the Church of Jesus! Amen.

Come Quickly, Lord
(Lk19:1-10)
God is merciful (Dt4:31; Neh9:31).
He has mercy on whom He has mercy (Ex33:19; Rm9:15), and
Shows mercy and redeems those who have hope in Him (Ps130:7-8).
Faith is welcoming and receiving His mercy (Jn1:12), and
The life of this faith is about laying down whatever hinders and passionately welcoming Him (Lk19:8)
In order to be welcomed in the dwelling place that He prepared (Jn14:2-3).
Since the prostitute Rahab showed kindness and welcomed the spies of Israel,
When the city of Jericho collapsed she and her family were shown kindness and saved (Jos2:12-14).
For all men became slaves of the devil after Adam sinned (2Pe2:19)
Only by the mercy of God the price could be paid and be delivered.
Although God sent Moses and delivered the Israelites from their slavery under the pharaoh,
It was only for their flesh and not perfect for
The blood of animal had no spiritual element and so their souls could not be redeemed.
While they were promised to be God’s people if they kept their covenant with Him (Ex19:5-6).
The Law also warned them that if anyone sinned
By two or three witnesses they were to be put to death without mercy (He10:28), and
It also commanded retribution (Nu5:7),
Life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth etc (Ex21:23-26).
Consequently, they had the spirit of servant to fear (Rm8:15).
Nevertheless, the mercy seat above the testimony inside the sanctuary (Ex25:22)
Reminded them of the mercy of God who commanded
The atoning sacrifice to shed blood for forgiveness (Lev16; He9:22)
Albeit it was neither perfect nor eternal (He9:1-4, 10).
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would set aside the first covenant in Jehovah’s name (He10:9) and
Establish a new covenant in the Father’s name Yeshua (Jn5:39) by shedding His blood as
The eternal, perfect atoning sacrifice (1Jn4:9-10) for
He is the Word in the beginning who became flesh (Jn1:1, 14)
To lay down His life as the Lamb of God (Jn1:29), a ransom for many (Mt20:28).
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost (Mk2:17; Lk19:10),
He was always with “sinners” (Mt9:11-13).
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Laid down His life and fulfilled the merciful Father’s will to redeem the souls of men Himself (Ps130:7-8; Lk23:34);
2) Judged the origin of sin (1Jn3:8); and
3) Paid the price of sin with His body and put to death the hostility of sin redeeming all men (Mt20:28; Eph2:16).
The Father raised Him up and
Yeshua entered the Father’s house in heaven and crowns with mercy (Ps103:4).
The Holy Spirit came in the name Yeshua
To those who Received the Father’s mercy, His blood and
He lets them passionately welcome the Lord (Jn1:10-12).
The Christian is he who confesses that
He has neither deed nor conscience to speak of and that
He is only a shameful sinner.
Therefore, he lays down his most precious if it hinders in receiving Him (Lk16:9; Php3:8) and
Gives his most valuable to Him if it could be used to please Him (Mk10:29-30) for
He longs to be shown the mercy in that day and
Be welcomed into the eternal dwelling place the Lord prepared (Jn14:2-3).
O Lord,
How You brought Your worthy blood to
Seek this unworthy lowly life.
What an honor!
I welcome You.
So come quickly, Lord! Come quickly!
Amen.
