Bound In the Spirit
(Ac20:22-24)
God has free will.
He is self-existent (Ex3:14) and
The will He makes He carries out Himself.
Faith is acknowledging Him and
The life of this faith is being bound in the Spirit and pressing on to take hold of that for which Christ Yeshua took hold of me (Php3:12).
Being “bound” refers to
Being put under obligation as in marriage or slavery, that is, in bond or bondage.
The happiness or the misery that results depends on the relationship.
Since Adam the ancestor of all mankind disobeyed the word of God and
Rather listened to the devil’s word (Ge3:4-6),
All mankind became prisoners in invisible iron chains (Ps107:10),
Bound for hell with the devil (Mt25:41).
This was visualized by the slavery of Israel in Egypt:
While they were groaning from the hard labor of 430 years (Ex2:23-24),
God fulfilled the promise He made to their ancestors by
Sending Moses to bring them out from under the yoke of Egypt and became their God (Ex6:7) and
Then the people of Jehovah following the pillars of fire and of cloud (Ex13:21-22).
The feasts (the Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks) and
The sanctuary (Ex12:14, 17; Dt16:10-12) reminded Israel for generations that:
1) We were slaves in Egypt (Dt15:15);
2) Jehovah brought us out of our slavery in Egypt (Lev26:13).
Those who should have been glad to be servants of Jehovah (Ps113:1)
Grumbled against God and stirred up to return to Egypt, and so
All fell and died during the 40 years in the wilderness (Nu14:3-38).
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
He would set all mankind free from the bondage of Satan (Lk13:16)
For He came as the Son of Man and spoke and did, not by Himself
But only to fulfill the will of the Father who sent Him (Jn5:19, 7:17-18)
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Laid down His life according to the Father’s command, of His own accord and pleased the Father (Jn10:17-18; Php2:6-8);
2) Condemned the devil who deceived all mankind and enticed them (Ge3:4-6; 2Pe2:19); and
3) Tore His flesh and released all mankind from the chains (Lk13:16; He2:14-15).
He resurrected and sat on the heavenly throne with a golden sash around His chest (Rev1:13) and
It is a symbol of His eternal bond with the Father.
The Holy Spirit whom He sent
Holds on to the souls born again in the blood of Yeshua
Not by holding the hand of the flesh,
But by binding the spirit (He8:9-10).
The man bound in the Spirit is he who
Though knowing that persecution, trouble, poverty, and danger face him (Ac2:23, 21:11-14),
Does not turn back to elementary principles (Gal4:9) and
Does not return to the world (1Ti1:18-20; 2Ti4:10; 2Pe2:20-22; 1Jn2:15-16).
Forgetting what is behind (Php3:13)
He presses on to take hold of that for which the Lord Christ Yeshua took hold of him (Php3:12),
For he fears to shrink back to destruction (He10:38) and be abandoned on earth
When the Lord Yeshua appears in the air.
O Lord,
Even if the world chases behind us
No matter what trial lies ahead of us
We cannot go back!
The world behind me, the cross before me…
No turning back, no turning back! Amen.

The Everlasting Relationship:
The Faith Relationship
(Rm8:9-11)
God is the Lord of faith (He12:2).
Faith comes from Him and
He rewards those who believe Him (He11:6).
Faith is believing that God lives as a person and making a relationship with Him.
The life of this faith is sustaining the faith relationship to the end for the salvation of my soul (1Pe1:9).
Whether by choice or fate, all humans form relationships and
Even though they complicate the human life, without them, humans would not be humans.
The success or failure of one’s life depends on the success or failure of one’s relationships.
Yet they endure only as long as the flesh lives.
The Bible shows that my relationship with God must be the relationship of faith (He11:6) and
It must be an everlasting one for it has an eternal outcome (Jn3:16, 17:3).
While everyone lives by faith:
• Self-confidence — the faith of the natural people — based on one’s own knowledge and faith;
• Faith — the faith of God — based on God’s word and the Bible,
Faith is the only adhesive between God and man, and by faith, everything is possible (Mk9:23).
Faith is possessing the things hoped for (He11:1) and
Its purpose is to save my soul from hell (1Pe1:9).
Therefore I must believe:
1) The one true living God (Mk11:22; Jn17:3);
2) Creationism (Ge1:1-31): the theory of evolution is false;
3) Two worlds: the material and the spiritual worlds; three spiritual beings (God, angels and men);
4) The Bible: written by those inspired by the Spirit of God (2Ti3:15-17), and contains covenants and prophecies.
For God decided from everlasting to have an everlasting relationship with men,
He breathed the breath of life into the man made in the image of God (Ge1:27) and
The man became a living being, Adam (Ge2:7), the ancestor of all mankind.
Deceived by the devil, however, Adam believed not the word of God
But the word of the devil and ate the forbidden fruit (Ge2:17, 3:4-6), thus
All men became hell-bound with the devil (Mt25:41).
Yet God clothed the man and the woman in garments of skin (Ge3:21), a sign that
God would open the way for a relationship with mankind in the future.
Hebrews 11 demonstrates the men of faith and their actions, such as Abraham, Moses etc who
Heard the word of God and obeyed, which was acknowledged as faith.
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
He would save those who believe Him and His word as:
Jehovah—the Law—delivered by angel—salvation from wars, famine, plagues;
Yeshua—the Truth—by the Son—spiritual salvation/ eternal life.
For the joy set before Him Yeshua died and said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), for
The Word in the beginning, God, came in the flesh (Jn1:1-2, 14) and perfected faith (He12:2):
1) He laid down His life following the Father’s command for He believed that He would receive it back (Jn10:17-18);
2) He condemned the devil who sowed the seeds of doubt (Ge3:4-6; Mt13:25); and
3) He sprinkled His redeeming blood to be received by believers for forgiveness (Eph1:7).
He resurrected and sat at the righthand of God as the Lord of faith.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God (Rm8:9) who came to the souls who believed (Jn1:12),
Possess the Spirit of Christ and belong to Christ (Rm8:9),
That is, by washing their sin with His blood (Jn13:8)
They have formed the faith relationship with Him.
The man of the Spirit is he who fears God and His word (Ge22:12), and
As this relationship is based on “knowing,” that is, having an experience (Lk1:37, 17:3),
He continues to obey the word of Yeshua — worship, gathering, pray, preaching etc — and
God acknowledges his faith by giving him experiences.
Therefore, he puts effort to crush
His pride, selfishness, stubbornness, logic, knowledge, which all weaken this relationship for
When the Lord returns, only those who belong to Him, that is,
Only the men of faith, will be taken (Lk18:8; Jn14:1-3; 1Co15:23).
O Lord,
What is man that God from everlasting decided to have a relationship with us, with me?
Even if I fail all at life, with all relationships…
Let me never fail this relationship with You!
For this everlasting relationship,
Let me crush whatever hinders and weakens it.
Lord of faith, give me faith! Amen.

The Fellowship of the Holy Spirit
(2Co13:14; Eph4:3-6)
God is the Father of all (Eph4:6).
He is over all and
Unites all and is in all.
“All” refers to a unified entity (all-in-one).
Faith is welcoming Him and
The life of this faith is through the fellowship of the Holy Spirit making effort
To become one with God and one with men.
People separate, get divorced or even commit suicide because
They cannot break down the wall that keep them from communicating their thoughts and hearts.
This is since their ancestor Adam was deceived by the devil (ho diabolos) and sinned, and
All mankind became destined to follow him to the lake of everlasting fire (Mt25:41; Rev20:14),
That is, to be locked up in gloomy dungeons forever (2Pe2:4; Jude1:6).
The Bible is the story of God materializing this in human history and of His work of separation.
After the deluge, God intentionally scattered the people who rejected the providence of dispersion
By confusing their language which was only one at the time (Ge11:1-8).
Furthermore, from Abram’s descendants many nations and kings would come (Ge17:5-6).
The exodus of Israel who had been slaves in Egypt,
The circumcision God commanded them in the wilderness (Jos5:2),
God forbidding unclean animals and allowing only clean animals to eat (Lev20:25) were
All to make distinction between Israel and gentiles (Ex8:23, 9:4).
The sanctuary instilled in them the chosen-people consciousness,
Remembering Jehovah who set them apart from the nations (Lev20:24).
Yet a prophecy said that, God would bring foreigners who bind themselves to Him and
Hold fast to His covenant to His holy mountain (Is56:6-7, 63:16).
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21):
Jehovah—the God of Israel—the Law—distinction between Jews and gentiles;
Yeshua—the God of the souls of all nations—the Truth—tear down the wall and make them one,
For He and the Father are one (Jn10:30, 38).
As His body tore like the veil and died (Mt27:51; He10:20),
He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Went into the Father and became one with Him (Jn14:20, 16:28);
2) Condemned the devil the separator (Ge2:17, 3:4-8); and
3) Sprinkled His redeeming blood on all mankind, so they become one with Him (Eph1:7).
He resurrected and He is the Lord of all who sat down on the heavenly throne (Ac10:36).
The Holy Spirit whom He sent came to the Church and
Lets the souls who became one through the blood of Yeshua
Keep the unity of the Spirit (Ac10:28; Eph4:3, 31-32) for
He called them into fellowship with Yeshua (1Co1:9).
The man of the Spirit is he who experiences the wall between him and God break down
In the time of worship where there is the fellowship with the Holy Spirit (2Co13:14).
Therefore, he goes out to seek neighbors with whom he may not have much in common
For he does not make distinctions based on their physical conditions
Such as bloodline, gender, status, wealth, education etc (Ac10:28-47; 2Co12:12-14),
For he longs to be in that great multitude of every nation, tribe, people and language
Standing before the throne of the Lord of all in heaven (Rev7:9).
O Lord,
Formerly I was a gentile, uncircumcised, a foreigner to the covenant without God, without hope…
But now in Christ Yeshua who tore down the wall of sin (Eph2:11-14)
I have become one without despair or barriers!
So even if I do not communicate with the people in the world
I am totally satisfied with the fellowship with Yeshua alone.
Lord, let me and our church never be cut off from the fellowship of the Holy Spirit! Amen.

Serve by the Spirit
(Eph4:11-12; Php3:3)
God is the Rewarder (Ge15:1; He11:6).
He eternally rewards those who serve Him and
He rewards according to their labor (1Co3:8; Rev22:12).
Faith is believing Him and
The life of this faith is, to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward,
Serving as a faithful steward of God’s grace (Php3:14; 1Pe4:9-11).
There are those who consider worship, service or minister as virtue or honor, and
This is because they actually know what honor is.
The history of the Bible is the story of God calling men to serve and rewarding them.
Jacob served his uncle for 20 years and he left not empty-handed (Ge31:41-42).
After 430 years of slavery, Israel left Egypt with its treasures (Ex12:35-36).
While the Law commanded them to serve the LORD (Dt6:13, 13:4) and
Do it joyfully and gladly (Dt28:46-48),
God commanded them to build the sanctuary (Ex25:1)
With the offerings that they willingly gave (Ex25:2, 35:21-29, 36:3-7)
So they serve Jehovah (Nu8:10-11).
On behalf of the children of Israel
The Levites, the priests were set apart to be named ministers of Jehovah (Is61:6).
Instead of the inheritance of land, they were given food offerings as their share due (Dt18:1-3).
The fall of Israel came, however, because of the corruption of the priests who,
Rather than serving honorably, showed contempt for the name of Jehovah (Mal1:6-8, 3:12-14).
Yeshua, said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
There would be change and He would become the minister of the Father (He7:12):
• Jehovah—the God of Israel by flesh and blood—the Law—the earthly sanctuary/ the Levites/ animal sacrifice—serving in fear and out of formality;
• Yeshua—the God of souls of all nations—the Truth—His body/ His blood/ the eternal high priest—willingly (Jn10:17-18).
But He was resented by the priests at the time (Mt27:1) who passed Him over to death.
However, as He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Gave His life to serve and became the Father’s high priest (He8:1-3);
2) Judged the devil who left His proper position (Eze28:14-18; Jude1:6); and
3) Sprinkled His redeeming blood on souls and served all mankind (Mt20:28),
Fulfilling all three elements of service: the sanctuary, the priest, and the offering.
After He resurrected, He ascended to the heavenly throne (He8:1) and
As the eternal high priest He serves the Father (He6:20).
The Holy Spirit whom He sent is
The pro bono advocate (paraklatos), that is, a volunteer minister.
The man of the Spirit is he who has
The blood of Christ who offered Himself unblemished to God (He9:14) and
He is a minister of the living Yeshua Christ, a holy priesthood (1Pe2:5):
1) A volunteer — not by flesh and blood, or by fate;
2) An unpaid volunteer — no share due;
3) Serves with his own time, money, talent etc — entrusted by grace.
Therefore, he preaches the gospel free of charge (1Co9:4-18),
Performs the service of supplying materials (2Co9:11-12),
Does the work of service (Eph4:12) by willingly giving time and talents,
Building up the earthly sanctuary, that is, the body of Christ, the Church
For he longs to be called up to the heavenly sanctuary some day and
Receive the promised reward (Mt25:21; Rev22:3, 12).
O Lord,
Who am I?
I am a proud volunteer minister of Yeshua Christ!
To build up our pride, the Church of Jesus,
Let us all put our best effort and serve without regrets, no matter how difficult. Yes! Amen!

The Holy Spirit and the Bride
(Rev22:16-17)
God is true (Ps117:2; Rev3:7).
For He does not change (Jas1:17)
Meeting with Him is joyful and His love is forever.
Faith is believing Him and loving Him.
The life of this faith is preparing to be dressed for an eternal union with Him (Rev21:2).
Being with someone who is insincere is uncomfortable and miserable
As sincerity is the foundation of any human relationship.
The most sincere relationship is that between father and son
For there is no sin that a father cannot forgive and
Even after leaving there is infinite waiting as
It is not a relationship based on covenant or choice.
Marriage, on the other hand, has limits on forgiveness and waiting
Since it is a covenantal relationship and one that is by choice.
As such, a change of heart and double-mindedness is a decisive reason for separation.
Deceived by the devil, Adam sinned (Ge3:4-6) and
All mankind became hell-bound with the devil (Mt25:41).
The Bible is the history of God’s effort to restore the relationship with His beloved.
The Law which God gave to Israel, the people whom He chose to love (Dt4:37-39),
Commanded them to love God (Dt6:6) and
Forbid them from even invoking the names of other gods (Ex20:3, 23:13),
Anyone breaking it was put to death, even their own flesh and blood (Dt8:19, 13:6-10).
In spite of this, however, Israel brought curse on themselves
Because God’s beloved committed adultery with idols (Jer3:9, 11:15).
Prophet Hosea prophesied that, because the LORD still loved them (Hos3:1-2)
He would betroth them to Him (Hos2:19-20).
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
He would show His love for all mankind and
Bring them to the Father’s house to live with Him forever.
Accordingly, He came as the bridegroom to take His bride
When He prepares a place for them (Mt9:15; Jn3:9, 14:1-3).
As He died, He said, “it is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) With His blood sanctified and prepared the spiritual heaven (He9:21-23);
2) Judged the separator the devil (Ge3:4-6; 1Jn3:8); and
3) Loved all mankind to the point of giving His life, His blood, for whomever to receive (1Jn4:10).
He resurrected and sat on the heavenly throne
Still bearing the marks of loving to the point of death (Rev1:5, 5:6).
The Holy Spirit whom He sent
Gave birth to the Church on earth and
To present Her as His blameless bride when the groom Christ comes,
As a glorious church, He nurtures and protects her (Eph5:25-29).
The man of the Spirit knows
The invitation to the wedding banquet of the Lamb as the greatest blessing (Rev19:9).
Therefore, to death he remains attached as a member of the Church (Eph5:30) and
In order to keep clean the fine linen washed by His blood
He maintains the purity of faith (2Co11:2-3).
To build a community of faith
He testifies, sacrifices and dedicates himself (Rev21:11, 22:17),
As he has been given the right to call as many as he wants (Mt22:9, Ac2:39),
For many are called, but few are chosen (Mt22:14).
O Lord,
Among many many churches…
Thank You for calling me to the Church of Jesus, a pure bride.
On the day You come, let us all enter the New Jerusalem! Amen.

The Spirit Says to the Churches
(Rev2:7)
God has His own will (Jas1:18).
By His own will He calls and chooses (Rm9:11), and
By His own will He gives and appoints (Da5:21).
At this, no one can talk back to Him for He is the Creator who can do according to His will (Rm9:20).
Religion is an act by which humans on their own
Approach the divine and demand the divine to act,
An act that pretends to be a revelation from God (Eze13:3).
Faith, however, is honoring the will of God and longing to be His chosen and
The life of this faith is making every effort to confirm my calling and election,
So I never stumble and fall away (2Pe1:10).
The Bible records of those whom God called and spoke to,
Such as Adam—Noah—Abraham—Isaac—Jacob—Moses—the prophets etc.
Moses was called by God (Ex3:4) and
Chosen to speak clearly (Nu12:6-8; Ps106:23) and
Thus those who grumbled against him were cursed (Nu16:5-7).
The sanctuary was the mechanism by which Israel was reminded
That they were a chosen people (Dt7:7)
As God spoke to them from above the atonement-cover over the ark (Ex25:22).
Before this temple,
Yeshua said, “Destroy the temple and I will raise it again in three days,” angering them
But through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
God who spoke to their ancestors in the past (He1:1) would
Now speak through the Son (Jn1:1, 14; Lk9:35; Jn14:24-25).
As such, He called and chose the disciples (Mk3:13-15; Jn15:15-16).
While the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven was given to them,
To the calloused-hearts He spoke in parables (Mt13:11-15).
By those who opposed Him fiercely and cross-examined Him about many things (Lk11:53),
He was eventually passed over to death.
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Through His death acknowledged the Father’s will (Jn10:18);
2) Judged the devil who on his own attempted to ascend the throne (Is14:12-15); and
3) By His own will chose all mankind and redeemed them (Mt20:28; He2:16).
He resurrected and ascended to the heavenly throne,
Rejected by men but chosen by God (1Pe2:4).
The Holy Spirit called, gathered and chose
The souls saved by the blood of Yeshua
As the body of Yeshua, the Church (Eph1:22-23),
That is, the one to whom the Holy Spirit speaks.
For if there is no election, even Abraham’s descendants would fall away (Rm9:4-16),
There will be a remnant chosen by grace (Rm11:5-25).
The man of the Spirit knows that by grace he has heard the gospel, and
Therefore, even though it is unrealistic and burdensome,
Hears the words that the Holy Spirit says to the churches today (Rev22:18-19) and
Struggles to repent by all means (Rev2:16, 3:3, 19).
Until He who is to come comes (Rev1:4-7),
He puts effort to remain in the chosen church (1Pe5:13) and
Goes out and says what he hears (Rm11:4)
For he believes in what is to take place later and His promises (Rev1:19, 2:10).
O Lord,
God who can do whatever He wishes
Called me by grace and chose me as one to speak to…
Thank You for this amazing grace!
To death, I will testify Your word without adding or taking away a single dot or stroke.
Please call those who have not bowed their knees to Baal (Rm11:4).
O Lord, bless the Church of Jesus! Amen.

The Presence of the Holy Spirit
(Ac10:44-48)
God is the present God.
He is yesterday, today and forever (Rev1:8), and He is everywhere (Ps114:7; Jer23:24).
He shelters with His presence those who testify Him (Rev7:14).
Faith is believing Him and
The life of this faith is living before the presence of God, that is, before Him who is present here
As people's speech and behavior differ greatly
Depending on whether someone is present or not.
Although after he sinned, Adam was afraid and hid from God's presence (Ge3:8-10),
He confessed his current position at God’s voice calling him (“Here I am”).
Abraham, Jacob, and Moses all heard the voice of God (Ge22:1, 11, 28:1-17; Ex3:4) and
Confessed that they were in the presence of God and
Became men of faith.
While God called out their descendants Israel to show His presence,
The sight of thick clouds, smoke, fire, and trumpet sounds made them tremble (Ex19:3-20).
For the name of God to be there forever,
For His eyes and His heart would always be there (2Ch7:16),
God commanded them to build the sanctuary.
When the cloud of His glory covered it,
Moses and the priests all trembled and fell (Ex40:34; 1Ki8:10-11).
Curse fell on Israel, however, because they drove God far from His sanctuary
By doing detestable things there (Eze8:6).
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19),
He would show the One who is greater than the temple (Mt12:6, 41-42), that is,
The present God who came in flesh, the Son of Man (Jn1:1, 14).
As such, wherever He was
Even the boat that was hit by a storm was safe (Mk4:37-40),
The dead rose (Mk5:35-42; Jn11:33-44),
With two fish and five loaves of bread 5,000 were fed and had remainders.
Yet He was rejected by the Jews who saw Him as just a human (Mk6:3).
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Fulfilled the Father’s will made before the creation (Jn10:18; He10:7);
2) Destroyed the works of the devil (1Jn3:8); and
3) With His body redeemed the sin of all men, and shed His eternal blood so mankind could now live before God’s presence.
He resurrected and entered the true heaven, now to appear in God’s presence (He9:24).
He opened the way for those who
By His blood could come to God through Him (He7:24-25, 10:20).
The Holy Spirit whom He sent came to the Church,
The gathering in the name of Yeshua (Mt18:20; Ac2:1-4),
The presence of the Holy Spirit (Ac10:33, 44-48).
Worship is the site where those who are ashamed and afraid
Come and confess, “Here I am,” before Yeshua Christ who sits on the throne,
Where there is forgiveness, healing, comfort, and peace.
He lets those who forgot what they should always remember
On the Lord’s Day remember and return to His presence.
The man of the Spirit is he who always lives before His presence by
Daily praying (Mt6:6), obeying His command, and testifying that Yeshua lives
So on the day when the Lord appears a second time (He9:28)
He is presented as blameless and holy before His presence (1Th3:13; Jude1:24-25) and
Be brought before the throne of God to serve Him there forever (Rev7:15).
O Lord,
In that day when the Lord appears in the air
Let us all go before You and
Shout, “Here we are..in Your presence!” Amen.

The Holy Spirit Helps Us
(Rm8:26-27)
God is merciful.
He has compassion on those who fear Him (Ps103:13) and
He helps those who cry out to Him.
Faith is knowing one’s own weaknesses and longing for His help (Ps27:9, 39:4), and
The life of this faith is completely relying on His help (Ps146:5).
For the needy, the weak, the sick, the poor
Whether there is help or not is a world of difference.
The curse of life is when there is no one to help and
Even if you cry out for help, there is no help (Job19:7).
While religion is an act of praying to some transcendent being
With one's own wishes and sacrifices,
The Bible clearly states who my help is now and forevermore, that is,
The God who made heaven and earth (Ps121).
Since Adam sinned, deceived by the devil (Ge3:4-6, 24),
No man could avoid the hardships and threats of life (Ge4:14).
However, when the Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out for help (Ex2:22-24),
God sent Moses and delivered them from Egypt and
God kept them from all harm during the 40 years in the wilderness because
He knew that men are dust (Ps103:14).
Despite the fact that the sanctuary reminded them that
Only Jehovah is their ever-present help in trouble (Ps46:1),
Israel sought other gods who could not help them (Hos13:4, 9) and
Asked for help from other nations (Is30:7, 31:3).
As such, they could not escape curses and disasters.
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
He would become the eternal help for the souls of all nations for
God came as the Son of Man (Mt20:28; Jn1:1, 14).
During the three years of His public life,
He daily healed the sick (Mt9:27, 15:22; Mk10:48) and
At times saved those who were in danger (Mk4:37-39) for
He had compassion on those who cried out to Him for help (Mt9:27, 15:22; Mk10:48).
Because He himself was subject to the same weakness (He5:2),
He knows the weaknesses of men (He4:15).
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) In the most vulnerable moment, looked to the Father for mercy (Ps6:2, 9:13);
2) Judged the origin of sin, the devil (Ge3:4-6; 1Jn3:8); and
3) By dying at just the right time, bore the burden of mankind's sin, illness, poverty, and worries in His own body (Rm5:6; 1Pe2:24).
He resurrected and ascended to the heavenly throne,
The throne of mercy to help in time of need (He4:16).
The Holy Spirit whom He sent is the Helper.
He helps God’s children in their weaknesses (Rm8:26-27)
By letting them know what they ought to pray for and cry out.
Prayer is to confess and ask, and
While it has the promise of God’s help (Jn14:13-14),
It must be done according to God’s will to be heard (1Jn5:14),
As the prayers not seeking according to His will are not heard (Jas4:2), that is,
Pagan prayers, which are physical, materialistic and carnal, are not heard by God (Mt6:32).
Therefore, the man of the Spirit
Asks for the kingdom of Christ and for his soul (Mt6:33).
Without ceasing, he rather prays in tongues, the prayer that his spirit prays (1Co14:14-15, 18),
Which is praising God (Ac2:11, 10:46) and uttering mysteries by the Spirit (1Co14:2).
O Lord,
The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak…
Let not even one of us pray like pagans.
Let us confess and ask according to Your will.
I, spirit, want to live and leave this burning universe to go to the Father’s house!
Lord, help me! Help us all!
Amen.

Hear What the Spirit Says
(Jn16:12-13; Rev2:7)
God is the God of revelation (Jn1:1).
He reveals Himself in His time, according to His ways (Jn1:14; Gal4:4-5) and
To those who love Him He reveals Himself all the more (Jn14:21).
Faith is hearing His word and believing it and
The life of this faith is obeying His word until the end.
While religions originate from the spirit of the world (1Co2:12) and
Attempt to approach the supernatural by human efforts,
God hides Himself from such (Mt11:25-26).
The faith by revelation, however, is following the revealed word (Jn1:1; 1Pe1:20):
Hearing according to what He speaks and
Knowing according to what He reveals — that is, hearing the Word.
For faith comes from hearing, when the soul that hears through the voice of men (phoné) that
Carries the Word of God (logos), receives the power to move the soul (rhema) (Rm10:13-14).
The Bible contains the story of men who heard the word of God and how they responded:
Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, the prophets and the disciples (He1:1-2):
• In the past — through the prophets — to Israel;
• In these last days — through the Son — to the world, the disciples; and
• On this day — through the Holy Spirit — to the church, inside souls.
The Law is the word that God spoke through the angels (Ac7:53; He2:2) and
The Gospel is the word that He spoke through the Son (He2:3), which
Many prophets longed to hear but did not hear it (Mt13:16-17).
The sanctuary where inside the ark were the stone tablets
Reminded them that God spoke to their ancestors (Ex25:22).
But Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
He Himself would reveal God and speak directly to souls (Mt17:1-5; He1:1), for
He is the God who spoke from the beginning, who became flesh and
His words are what the Word in the beginning spoke (Jn1:1, 14), and
Also will later be spoken by the Holy Spirit inside souls (Jn14:24, 16:12-13).
Although He spoke what He heard from the Father (Jn12:49),
The people refused to hear Him (Jn9:29), and
The disciples, though blessed to hear His voice (Mt13:13-17; Mk4:9, 23),
Still could not understand (Lk18:33-34).
As He died, Yeshua said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Only listened to the Father’s word and obeyed to death (Jn10:18);
2) Judged the spirit of the world, the liar, the devil (Ge3:4-6; Jn8:43-47, 12:31); and
3) Tore His flesh like the temple veil and sprinkled His blood on the souls of men, opening their ears that were blocked by sin (Ge3:21, 24; Ex25:22; Lk23:45).
He resurrected and ascended to the throne in heaven
In the body that has the marks of being torn (Rev5:6).
To this day, His voice comes from the throne like
Peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm (Rev11:19).
The Holy Spirit lets believers who heard the voice of Yeshua inside their souls
Speak in tongues (Ac2:4; 1Co14:14).
He speaks the words of Yeshua to them (Jn14:23-26) and
Lets them hear what the Spirit says to the churches (Rev2:7).
The man of the Spirit is blessed for
He has ears to hear the word spoken since the beginning (Mt13:16-17), and
Repents when rebuked and obeys when commanded (Jn6:63, 68, 12:50; He4:12-13, Rev2:12-17).
He is changed by hearing the voice of the Lord, like Apostle Paul (Ac9:17-20; Gal1:15-17), and
Preaches the words that he heard (Mk16:15; Rm10:14-15) for
When the Lord returns, he longs to hear His voice and rise to live (Jn5:24-25; 1Th4:16-17).
O Lord,
I am amazed that my soul can hear the word spoken since the beginning!
Let all our ears be opened to hear Your voice so
Even if we lose strength at times,
Let us hear your gentle whisper like Elijah did (1Ki19:11-16) and
Get back up again to speak Your words.
Ephphatha (Mk7:35)!

The Holy Spirit is the Overseer
(Ac20:28-32)
God is He who watches (2Ch16:9).
He sees the whole world, the mind, the heart, the inmost heart (Jer11:2, 17:10, 20:12), and
He closely watches over His own possession (Ac20:28).
Faith is being conscious of His gaze everywhere (Ps139:1-12; Jer23:24; Rev1:14, 5:6), and
The life of this faith is willingly going under His supervision and being watched over.
While people do not like the word, “supervision,”
Behind successful athletes, actors etc are excellent coaches who
Can read situations and guide with extraordinary insight.
The Bible is the story of God reclaiming His possession.
Deceived by the devil, Adam sinned (Ge2:17, 3:4-6), and
All mankind became demoted to the devil’s belonging (2Pe2:19).
The exodus of Israel materialized this as
God called them “My people” (Ex3:7) and
Dramatically led them to escape their slavery in Egypt
By showing the blood of the lamb (Ex12:13, 30-31).
Despite the fact, as an eagle protects its young,
God guarded them in the wilderness (Dt32:11; Jer49:22),
Walled them in with the Law (Hos2:6) and
Appointed the prophets to oversee them,
They abandoned their master and went astray.
Thus, they suffered under a curse (Is1:3).
Referring to the Temple where the name of Jehovah was and
Where His eyes were open toward night and day (1KI8:29; Ps11:4, 102:19),
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
He would go in the souls of believers (Jn14:20) and
Watch over them from the inside (1Co2:11).
As such, He foresaw the betrayal of Judas (Jn13:10-27),
The denial of Peter (Lk22:34), and
The sufferings that His disciples would endure (Lk22:31-32).
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Asked the Father to judge His wrongful death (La3:59; Lk23:46);
2) Judged the thief the devil (Jn10:10; 1Jn3:8); and
3) With His precious blood purchased the souls of all nations and returned them to the Father (1Pe1:18-19; Rev5:9).
He resurrected and sat on the heavenly throne and
He is the Owner of all things in heaven and on earth (Mt28:18).
The Holy Spirit whom He sent
Came to the souls and the Church which God purchased with His own blood (Ac20:28).
The man of the Spirit is
He who was like sheep going astray
But now has returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of his soul (1Pe2:25).
His precious soul, bought with God’s own blood, His precious blood, is
Supervised and intervened by the overseer appointed by the Holy Spirit,
Within the walls of the Church where the Holy Spirit oversees, and
Warned with the word of the truth (Ac20:31; He4:12-13).
Thus, he willingly cuts off the constant temptation
To jump over the wall to pursue self-indulgence, that is, the world (Jas1:21-25).
O Lord,
Before we lived like rebels, like sheep going astray…
But now we have met an overseer who supervises and watches over
Our souls purchased with Your precious blood…thank You, Lord!
Let us firmly cut off the temptation to go back to the world, and
When You return, let us all soar up aloft like an eagle and
Follow You to the Father’s house! Amen.

The Holy Spirit Is Father
(Jn14:16-20; Rm8:12-17)
God is the Father (1Co8:6).
With His blood He gives birth to children (1Pe1:23) and
By His Spirit He nurtures His children (Rm8:14, 29).
Faith is knowing that God is my Father and
The life of this faith is, in order to become heirs, gladly receiving the Father’s discipline (He12:5-13)
and doing His work.
As all fathers love their children and
Want to inherit the best things, such as the family’s honor, properties or business,
They teach the children to grow up through discipline so
They become those who know the father’s heart and do the father’s work.
The Bible is the story of God nurturing His heirs.
Angels by their one-time sin wait for the judgment and punishment (2Pe2:4) for
They are ministering spirits (He1:14), never planned to become God’s children, His heirs (He1:5).
For man who committed the same sin (Ge3:4-6), however,
God clothed him in garments of skin, as he was driven out of the garden (Ge3:21-24) because
God planned to tear His skin and pour out His blood to give birth to children one day.
Chosen as the servants of Jehovah (Ps113:1),
Israel received the spirit of servant to fear (Ex19:12-15; Rm8:15).
They received the increase of their seed, the land and the kingdom as
The heritage of the servants of Jehovah (Is54:17), and
The certificate of debts as the teaching of Jehovah (Is54:13; Col2:14).
So if they obeyed fully, they would be the people of Jehovah (Ex19:5);
If not, they would be cut off from the land (1Ki9:4-7).
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
He would cancel the certificate of debts and
With His own blood give birth to children and give them His kingdom (Lk12:32).
As such, He made known what servants cannot know (Jn15:15):
God is one (Mk12:29);
The Son and the Father are one (Jn10:30, 14:7, 9, 11);
The Father is greater than the Son (Jn14:28); and
The Son hastily left for the Holy Spirit to come as the nurturing Father (Jn14:18-19, 16:15-24).
As Yeshua died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that:
1) His soul went in the Father (Lk23:46; Jn14:20);
2) He judged the separator the devil; and
3) He tore His flesh and shed His blood — the Spirit of Christ (Rm8:9), the Spirit of adoption to sonship (Rm8:15, 23) — and gave birth to children.
He resurrected and ascended to heaven and He is now in the Father (Jn14:20), and
The Holy Spirit entered the spirit of those who became sons (Gal4:6),
Not leaving them as orphans (Jn14:20).
He teaches them until they conform to the image of Christ (Jn14:26; Rm8:29).
The man of the Spirit is he who became a true son through the Holy Spirit (He12:8).
He knows the one God as his Father, that is,
The Holy Father who made his flesh,
The Holy Son who bore his spirit and
The Holy Spirit who raises his spirit.
Therefore, even if he sins (1Jn2:1),
Even if he is disciplined (He12:5-13),
Even if he is isolated (2Co6:14-18),
Even if he is faced with trouble, hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness or danger (Rm8:18-29)
He only cries out to Abba, Father (Rm8:15), and overcomes all things.
For he longs for the Father’s success, he does the Father’s work, the Father’s will (Jn6:39-40).
O Lord,
Even if I have not seen You,
Even if my breath taken away,
I know that the one God is my Father.
While I live in this world, I will continue to cry out…
Father~~~~~
This is my inheritance! Amen.

The Holy Spirit Reminds Us of Yeshua
(Jn14:26)
God is love (1Jn4:8).
He gives Himself for those whom He loves (Gal2:20) and
He prepares an eternal dwelling place for them (Jn14:2).
Faith is being moved by His love and loving Him, and
The life of this faith is thinking of Yeshua every moment and living by remembering His word.
The ones people think of the most are their loved ones and
The words that they remember the longest are those of their loved ones
So their will would be remembered for a long time.
With time, however, they become faint and eventually fade away, which is a sad reality.
The Bible, comprised of the Old Testament and the New Testament, is
The testament of God given to those whom He loves.
Israel was called the holy people of God (Dt14:21) for
They were a people with a holy remembrance (Ps97:12).
Their year consisted of an array of feasts which
Reminded them of the fact that the LORD God was their Redeemer (Ps78:35) for
He redeemed them while they were slaves in Egypt (Dt15:15),
Rescued them from the hands of all their enemies on every side (Jdg8:34), and
Led them all the way in the wilderness for 40 years (Dt8:2) and
Gave them the ability to produce wealth (Dt8:18, 24:17-18, 32:7).
In spite of the fact that in their midst was
The sanctuary where the name of Jehovah was, a reminder for generations (Ex3:15; 2Ch6:5),
Israel was destroyed for they forgot the LORD and served other gods (Is46:8-9; Jer13:25) and
Even built monuments for themselves (1Sa15:12; 2Sa18:18).
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the suffering, the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Mt16:21; Jn2:19),
He would let souls remember the Father’s eternal name of Yeshua (Jn5:43),
The works He did in His name and the Father’s words, that is, His words (Jn14:24).
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Died according to the Father’s command and enforced His will (Jn10:18; He9:16-17);
2) Judged the devil who caused men to forget the word of God (Ge3:4-6); and
3) Gave His flesh and blood for the forgiveness of sin to all souls whom He loves (Mt26:26; Lk22:19-20).
While the stone, the seal and the soldiers before the grave were all
The efforts for the world to forget Him,
Yeshua broke through the grave and resurrected and ascended to heaven.
He eternally bears the marks on His body as the memory of His death.
The Holy Spirit whom He sent is
The Spirit who remembers the suffering of Yeshua.
He lets the souls saved by the blood of Yeshua
Remember the name of Yeshua, who in their place
Endured the suffering, pains, shame, contempt on the cross (Tit2:14).
Furthermore, He reminds them of the words of Yeshua (Jn14:26), His last outcry from the cross.
The man of the Spirit is he who is
Moved by the love of God (Mt27:46) that forgave the sins of all men (Lk23:34) and
Prepared paradise for anyone who seeks to enter (Lk23:43).
To be a soul received by God on that last day (Lk23:46)
He clings to the Bible which Yeshua confirmed (Jn19:28),
Loves his brothers and sisters made by the blood of Yeshua (Jn19:26-27) and
Goes to the ends of the earth to make disciples of all nations (Mt28:19-20) so that
They may know the love of God (Jn15:12-13; 1Jn4:10).
O Lord,
Every hour, every minute, every second…
Let me remember only Yeshua and only the words of Yeshua! Amen.

The Holy Spirit Is the Spirit of Comfort
(Ac9:31; 2Co1:3-7)
God is the God of all comfort (2Co1:3).
He comforts with His eternal comfort (2Th2:16), and
He comforts His people (Is49:13), the lowly (2Co7:6) and the afflicted by His word (Ps119:50).
Faith is being comforted by God and His word (Is51:3; 2Co13:11) and
The life of this faith is comforting one another with His comfort (2Co1:4, 7:7; 1Th4:18).
While those who are suffering in sadness, loss, and toils may find comfort
Coming from individuals, society, and nation,
It is, however, only temporary, superficial, and not eternal.
The Bible tells the story of God’s eternal comfort.
Deceived by the devil, Adam the ancestor of mankind, sinned by taking the forbidden fruit (Ge3:4-6).
Thus all mankind became slaves of the devil, hell-bound with him (Mt25:41).
Yet, when God drove Adam out from the Garden,
He clothed him in garments of skin, signaling His comfort to come (Ge3:21-24),
For he had now become like one person of the Trinity, knowing good and evil, that is,
He would experience death and life like the Son, according to the plan of God (Ge3:21-24).
Jehovah was the God of comfort for Israel and
The commandment strictly forbid them making idols for themselves (Ex20:4) for
Idolatry was invoking comfort on themselves, rejecting God’s comfort (Dt29:19).
The story of Job who comforted himself with his righteous deeds (Job6:10), and
Refused to be comforted by anyone else (Job21:32-34),
But eventually confessed before God and received His comfort (Job42:1-11), was
The story of Israel whom God formed for Himself (Is43:21),
Chosen as His people so He would comfort them in their continuing afflictions (Is49:13, 51:12).
However, since they rejected God’s comfort, they were destroyed.
Thus, the prophecy regarding the coming of the One who would
Comfort the poor, the brokenhearted, the captives, and the prisoners (Is52:9, 61:1-2), and
A measuring line to be stretched out over Jerusalem, that is, the rebuilding of the temple
Gave them comfort (Is66:13; Zec1:16).
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21):
• Jehovah—the God of comfort for Israel—the Law— comforted—the flesh/ prosperity, growth;
• Yeshua—the God of all peoples—the Truth—to comfort—souls/ by the redemption of the Son of Man (Mt20:28).
He healed the sick, became friends to sinners (Mk2:15-17), comforted those who mourn (Mt5:4).
After death, while Lazarus was comforted,
The rich man who rejected God’s comfort in life was in agony (Lk16:25).
Yeshua was rejected by the Jews who found the Temple to be their only comfort (Mt11:16-17).
He Himself refused to be comforted by the world, thus willingly choosing death (Jn10:17, 19:10-11).
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that:
1) The Father alone comforts His suffering, sorrow, and loss (Jn10:18; Php2:6-11; He1:2);
2) Judged the devil who gives comfort in vain (Zec10:2; Ge3:4-6); and
3) His death—redeemed all mankind—comforted all men in Adam used for God’s plan;
His blood —souls—eternal comfort—the forgiveness of sin, children of God (Mt20:28; Jn1:12; 1Co15:45; Eph1:7).
He resurrected and sat on the heavenly throne, where He is eternally comforted (Rev5:19-12).
The Holy Spirit comforts the Church and the saints only with the comfort of God (2Co1:3-7).
Even in the worst suffering, the man of the Spirit finds comfort in
The fact that Yeshua Christ lives, the Holy Spirit is with me forever (Jn14:18; Mt28:20),
The Lord rewards for my toil (Mk10:29-30), and
The word, signs, answers to prayers, testimony, fruits etc (Ps119:50; Jn14:2-3; 1Th3:7, 4:18).
Therefore, he absolutely rejects the world’s false comfort (He11:24-26).
With the comfort of God, He can comfort those in distress (2Co1:4), the disheartened (1Th5:14),
Encourage to build each other up (1Th5:11) and to gather (He10:25), for
He wants to be comforted only by the comfort that comes from heaven.
O Lord,
I have been comforted by the King of kings!
Let me comfort those in any trouble with the comfort of God.
Let us build a church that seeks only the comfort from heaven. Amen.

The Holy Spirit is the Zeal of God
(2Co11:1-6; Rev3:14-19)
God is zealous (Is37:32).
He has zeal for His name (Eze39:25) and
What He spoke in zeal (Eze5:13), His zeal accomplishes (Is9:7).
Faith is being moved by His zeal and
Faith life is being zealous with godly zeal (2Co11:2) for
God is irrelevant to the religious who with their own zeal are zealous for asceticism or sacrifice.
It is no exaggeration to say that
Human history is made by a small number of fanatic enthusiasts for
A zealous person accomplishes whatever he sets out to do and
His passion has a great influence on others.
The Bible is written of the zeal of God (Ps119:139).
All things that God made into their own kinds,
As well as the chosen people of Israel reveal this.
Hannah (1Sa1:10-20), young David (1Sa17:45-51), Elijah (1Ki18-19), the Pharisees etc
All showed how Israel is the most zealous people of all peoples.
They were zealous for God (Ac22:3), His holy name (Eze39:25), His temple (Ps69:9),
The Law (Ac21:20), and their flesh and blood (Rm9:1-4).
The zeal of Jehovah was fulfilled through them and
It was prophesied that a son who would be given will reign on David’s throne (Is9:6-7).
According to the prophecy,
The zeal of God came as man and became Immanuel, Yeshua (Is7:14; Mt1:21-23), and
He said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:17-22),
He would be consumed by the zeal of God (Ps119:139).
As such, until He was handed over to death
By the Pharisees who followed and opposed Him fiercely (Lk11:53) and the people (Mt27:25),
Without rest, He worked zealously.
He laid His hands on each one of all who had various kinds of sickness and healed them (Lk4:40).
He prayed earnestly as his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground (Lk22:44).
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Surrendered to the Father’s zeal that gave the Son’s life (Jn10:18; Php2:6-8);
2) Put on the garments of vengeance against the devil, and wrapped Himself in zeal as in a cloak (Is59:17-18);
and
3) Became a ransom for many, and with His blood showed His zeal for His people (Is26:11; Mt20:28).
He resurrected and sat on the heavenly throne and
He has the marks of having worked with the greatest zeal in the history of mankind (Rev5:9).
The Holy Spirit lets believers
Be zealous with the zeal of God
For the Son of God, the name of Yeshua, the Truth, the Church, and souls.
The man of the Spirit is
Always ashamed before the zeal of the Lord (Rev3:14-19) and
Even if he is mocked or opposed as a fanatic or heretic,
He struggles to keep the purity of faith for the souls entrusted to him (2Co11:1-3),
Denouncing other Jesus, other spirit, other gospel (2Co11:4) and
Risks his life to keep, defend and teach the truth for
He fears of becoming lukewarm and being spat out by the Lord’s mouth (Rev3:16).
O Lord,
We are shameful people who have done nothing right…
But from now on
When we pray or when we serve,
Let us do it with the zeal of God.
And above all, let us burn with the passion to save souls!
Let none of us be spat out on the last day! Amen.

The Holy Spirit Convicts
(Jn16:7-14)
God is righteous (Ps11:7).
With His righteousness He judges (Is58:2) and
By His righteousness He punishes.
Faith is accepting this and
The life of this faith is, in order to stand blameless on the day of the Lord (1Co1:8; Col1:22), before His righteous
judgment seat (2Ti4:8), putting effort to live as the righteous.
The modern era is called the age of coddling culture or “gentle parenting”
As people only want to hear words of praise and comfort, and
They do not want to hear any criticism.
As the Bible is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and
Training in righteousness the man of God (2Ti3:15-17),
God's rebuke is not punishment for wrongdoing (He12:5)
But a jockey’s crop to a horse so it can move faster.
All mankind became destined for eternal punishment with the devil (Mt25:41)
Since their ancestor Adam took the forbidden fruit and sinned (Ge3:4-6)
For it is more pleasant to hear the flattering words of the devil than the word of God (Pr26:28).
The Law was a righteous law (Ps119:160) and
It made known that correction and instruction are the way to life (Pr6:23).
However, while the true prophets rebuked Israel who disregarded God's teachings (Pr1:23-26, 3:26)
They rather listened more sweetly to the words of the false prophets (1Ki22:8-24; Eze12:20-24).
Moreover, for they misunderstood the Law,
They maintained their righteousness and would not let go of it, and thus
Their suffering continued (Job10:6, 27:6).
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
He would reveal that He is the righteousness (Jn16:10) and
That by His righteousness He would judge (Jn5:22).
As such, He rebuked the self-righteous Pharisees (Mt11:20-24).
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Did not become a reproach to sinners (Eze3:26) but rather died according to the Father’s command, and
was sealed with righteousness (Jn10:18; Rm5:18-19);
2) Judged the devil the prince of the world (Jn12:31); and
3) Bore in His body sin in place of the unrighteous mankind (Rm5:6-8; 1Pe3:18), and He was inflicted in anger
and in wrath and with stinging rebuke (Eze5:15).
He resurrected and ascended to heaven, and became the righteous Judge (2Ti4:8).
The Holy Spirit whom He sent rebukes the world (Jn16:7),
1) Regarding sin: i.e., not believing Yeshua — not believing that He alone is innocent (Ac4:12), His innocent
blood (Mt27:4), redemption, resurrection and return, and everything that does not come from faith is sin
(Rm14:23);
2) Regarding righteousness: i.e., Yeshua Christ Himself — though in the Era of Grace after His ascension there
has not been judgement or punishment against the world, the day of Christ’s return will be the time of
punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written (Lk21:22), until then the Law is good to lead men to
repent (1Ti1:8-10);
3) Regarding judgement: i.e., the prince of this world has already been judged but there remains a day when
saints will face the judgment for their deeds at the judgment seat of Christ, thus, they must cut off all that is
earthly, unspiritual and demonic (Jas3:15); and
4) Rebukes the Churches: for losing their first love, first zeal (Rev2:4, 3:5-19) and for becoming secular and
spiritually corrupt (Rev2:14, 20).
Therefore, the man of the Spirit is willing to be struck by the hand of the Lord now
For it is better than to be thrown out into the darkness on that day.
O Lord,
We hope to stand as blameless before the judgement seat of Christ in that day.
So we wish to be convicted and corrected by the Holy Spirit today…
Please do not spare the crop!
Rebuke us and we will repent! Amen.

The Advocate, the Holy Spirit
(Jn14:24-26)
God is the true God (Jer10:10).
For there is no deceit in Him, it is impossible for Him to lie (He6:18).
His words are true (2Sa7:28) and
He testifies that He is true.
Faith is believing that He is true and His words are true.
The life of this faith is, in order to enter the true heaven after death (He9:24), only listening to the
truth and only speaking the truth (Rm9:1; Eph4:25).
While many fall into humanism by interpreting “the Comforter” as a comforter for humans,
The comforter is a legal term for an advocate, that is,
The Holy Spirit who defends Yeshua (Jn15:26).
The courts of the world make verdicts on facts and words (claims), and
Perjury is considered contempt of court and it is a serious offense.
The history of mankind is regarding the judgment on truth and falsehood, and
The Bible shows that God alone is true and all men are liars (Ps116:11; Jer17:9; Rm3:4),
Since deceived by the devil’s lies, Adam, the ancestor of mankind, sinned (Ge2:17, 3:4-6) and
All men became destined for hell with the devil (Mt25:41; Rev21:8).
Among the commandments given to Israel
False testimony was considered blasphemy against the name of God (Ex20:16; Lev19:11-12).
Thus any false witness was to be purged (Dt19:19).
While the sanctuary reminded that Jehovah was the only true God of Israel (Is37:20),
The fall of Israel came for they forsook the true God (Jer5:11; Zec10:2-3) by
Serving false gods that they had made (Is37:19) and
Delighting in the lies of the prophets who spoke by deceiving spirits (1Ki22:22; Is30:9-10; Jer6:10).
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
He would show not a sanctuary made with hands, a shadow
But the true sanctuary, the true image (He8:2, 9:24, 10:1), and
Give not food the flesh eats and dies but the true food souls eat and live eternally (Jn6:54-58).
His testimony is true for the Father who testifies Him is true (Jn5:31-32) as
Even in the Law, the testimony of two witnesses is true (Jn8:17-18), and
Because He knew where He came from and where He was going (Jn8:14)
Yet He was put to death because
He was accused of giving a false testimony by saying that
He was able to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days (Mt26:61) and that
He and God were equal (Jn5:18, 10:30).
However, as He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Through death testified that the Father’s word is true (Ge2:17; Jn10:18; Rev3:14);
2) Condemned the father of lies, the liar the devil (Ge3:4-6; Jn8:44); and
3) Sprinkled His redeeming blood for souls to drink the true drink and become His true sons (He12:8).
The resurrection of Yeshua Christ testified that
The Father’s testimony and the Son’s testimony are true (Mk8:31; Ac10:40),
A fact that was fulfilled (Lk1:1).
The Holy Spirit whom He sent from the true heaven (He9:23; Ac2:33)
Testifies that Yeshua and His word is true (Jn14:26, 15:26):
1) His essence is that He is the innocent Son of God (Jn1:1, 14; 2Co5:21);
2) The first Adam’s sin caused the last Adam to die unjustly (Mt20:28; 1Co15:45; 2Co5:21);
3) He resurrected into a body that cannot decay (Ac2:27); and
4) He is coming back to judge the living and the dead (Jn14:3; 2Ti4:1; Rev1:7).
The man of the Spirit was at one time foolish and deceived (Tit3:3)
But now no longer is deceived or deceives.
He does not listen to false teachers and heresies (2Th2:11-12; 1Ti4:1-2; 2Pe2:1).
Rather, he opens his mouth and speaks the truth (2Ti4:1-4) — that is,
Only the words of Yeshua!
O Lord,
Do not let anyone of us be dragged into hellfire by
Listening to the teachings of the spirits of delusion and the devil (Rev21:8).
Let us only listen to the truth and only speak the truth and
Finally enter the true heaven! Amen.

The Holy Spirit Like Rivers of Living Water
(Psalms 42:1-2, John 7:37-39)
God is the Lord of life (Ac3:15).
The word, the Son, the Holy Spirit are life (Jn6:63, 11:25; Rm8:2), and
He supplies life to those who long for Him.
Faith is longing for the God of life (Ps42:1-2) and
The life of this faith is sharing the life that springs up within me.
Human civilization originates in the four major river valleys for
Water is an absolute necessity for human survival and reproduction.
In spite of it, however, the human body dies when there is too little or too much water.
The Bible is a book about a spring of water welling up to eternal life (Jn4:14).
God placed Adam the living being (Ge2:7) in the Garden of Eden with headwaters (Ge2:10)
Since his flesh must drink water to live while
His spirit must eat the word that comes from the mouth of God to live eternally (Ge2:17; Mt4:4).
While the world in Noah’s time was deluged and destroyed (2Pe3:6),
Until Abram’s descendants entered the land that God promised him (Ge17:3),
A land where milk and honey flowed (Ex13:5),
They were enslaved in Egypt for 400 years (Ge15:13) and
Wandered in the wilderness for 40 years (Nu32:13) for
It was the result of their ancestor Adam who sinned deceived by the devil (Ge3:4-6).
The sanctuary where Aaron’s budded staff was (Nu17:2-8)
Reminded them of Jehovah the God who gives breath to all living things (Nu16:22).
Furthermore, those who kept the commandments were promised to
Drink water from their own cisterns (Pr5:15; 2Ki18:31).
However, because they forsook God the spring of living water (Jer17:13) who
Turns the desert into pools of water (Ps107:35), and
Because they dug their own cisterns, they could not escape curse (Jer2:11-13).
Nevertheless, the prophets said that living water will flow out from Jerusalem (Zec14:8) and
Also He who has compassion on them will lead them beside springs of water (Is49:10).
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
He would let not only Abraham’s children (flesh) but souls of all nations
Drink living water that He would give to never thirst again and
It will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life (Jn4:6-15, 6:53-55, 63).
As such, He raised Lazarus back to life who had been dead and decaying (Jn11:39-44).
As He poured out all His blood and water (Jn19:34) and died, He said,
“I am thirsty” and “It is finished” (Jn19:28, 30) for:
1) He obeyed the Father’s command, and entrusted His dried-up self to the Father the fount of life (Ps22:15, 42:1-2; Jn10:18);
2) He judged the origin of sin, the devil (1Jn3:8); and
3) His body the spiritual rock was struck to let out the spiritual drink (Jn1:1-4; 1Co10:4), to let all men drink His
blood and water (Mt26:27-28).
He resurrected and sat on the heavenly throne as the Lord of life (Ac3:15) and
Sent the Spirit of life (Rm8:2) who goes out from the Father (Jn15:26),
From Yeshua’s pierced hands and speared side, the marks of opening the river, and
Continuously flow out, like the river of the living water (Eze47:1-12; Rev22:1-2).
He gathers the souls made alive by the blood of Yeshua
Into His body the Church, God’s temple (1Co3:16; Eph2:21) and
Lets them drink the living water, that is, the word of Yeshua (Jn19:34; 1Jn5:6),
The spring of water welling up to eternal life in them.
The man of the Spirit has
The river of living water flowing from within him so
Limitless to where or when, unstoppable to any hindrance, and tirelessly
He runs out to save whomever for
Where the river flows everything will live (Eze47:9).
O Lord,
Let the spring of living water burst out of us and
Revive all thirsty souls You have given me, the sick flesh and families! Amen.

The Promised Holy Spirit
(Ac1:1-5)
God is faithful (Dt7:9).
He does not violate His covenant (Ps89:34) and
He confirms with an oath those who have His promise as inheritance (He6:17).
People with poor credit are not treated as human beings for
A society where covenant does not work is not a human society.
Faith is believing the faithful God and
The life of this faith is until inheriting the promised kingdom remaining in the covenant (Jas2:5).
The Bible is God’s credit score and
God provides reliable evidence to trust Him:
1) According to His promise, God saved Noah from the deluge and set rainbow as the sign of the covenant that there will never be another judgment by water (Ge9:9-13);
2) Circumcision was a sign of God’s covenant with Abram regarding the increase of the seed, the inheritance of the land and being their God (Ge17:2-10), and God gave a son to him at the age of 100 (Ge21:2);
3) Remembering His covenant with Abraham (Ex2:24), God led Israel out of Egypt 400 years later (Ge15:13; Ex12:41; Ac7:7); and
4) Israel conquered the promised land of Canaan; and
5) The history of Israel itself for it is the first nation to be reconstructed 2,500 years after falling, as promised to Abraham 4,000 years prior.
The words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments, written on the stone tablets (Ex34:28) and
The sanctuary where the ark of the covenant with the vase with manna was (Ex16:33-34)
All reminded this to Israel.
If they followed the terms of the covenant, they prospered (Dt29:9);
If they broke the covenant, they were cursed (Dt29:21).
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
He would set aside the first covenant written on the stone tablets (He10:9) and
Establish a new covenant written on souls (He8:6-10, 10:15-17).
The promise of Yeshua is:
1) The forgiveness of sin by His blood (Mt26:28);
2) Becoming children of God (Jn1:12);
3) His resurrection three days after death (Mt16:21);
4) Sending the Holy Spirit (Jn14:16-17);
5) His return (Jn14:3);
6) To take His children to the Father’s house.
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Laid down His life and entrusted His soul in the faithful Father’s hands (Lk23:46; Jn10:17-18);
2) Judged the devil the origin of sin (Ge3:4-6; 1Jn3:8); and
3) With His blood fulfilled the first covenant and became the Mediator of a new covenant (He9:15).
His resurrection is the evidence of the Father’s covenant.
After Yeshua ascended to heaven, He sent the promised Holy Spirit (Ac2:33) who
Seals those who have the promise as inheritance (Eph1:13) and
Lets them remember His promise (Jn14:26) and remain in His covenant.
The man of the Spirit therefore
Remains in the Lord, in His body the Church, and in His word (Jn15:5-8), and
Entrusts the Lord with all his precious things (Mk10:29-30).
The more He sees the signs of the end times (Mt24:3-8),
All the more he gathers and encourages souls (1Th5:11; He10:23-25).
He does not worry about what to eat, what to wear or about tomorrow (Mt6:25-32) for
He lives by the name of Yeshua as
He sees the signs of the covenant through answered prayers, speaking in tongues, healing etc.
O Lord,
To death, let us only remain in the covenant of Yeshua.
Your promise is my inheritance.
My trust is in Your name, Yeshua! Amen.
