God is righteous and merciful(Ps 4:1, Ps 116:5).
He does not forgive the evil and judges him with righteousness,
While He has mercy on the sinner and forgives him who repents.
Faith is acknowledging and welcoming Him and
The life of this faith begins with repentance and continues in repentance.
What the Bible treats with the greatest seriousness is sin, for
Sin cannot avoid judgement and punishment(Rm 2:12).
The devil is the origin of sin(1Jn 3:8) who
Sinned as an archangel
When he wanted to be like God and left his proper domain, and
Thus was thrown into the darkness(Is 14:12-15; 2Pe 2:4).
Deceived by the devil,
Adam sinned and death entered all(Rm 5:12) and
They were bound to perish in hell with the devil(Mt 25:41).
However, God placed a solution for those who do not want to perish: repentance(Lk 13:1-5).
The Law was given because
Sin was not taken into account and men were destined to perish(Rm 5:12-13).
It was for them to understand sin as a grave natter(Rm 7:9-24).
The tablets inside the sanctuary
Reminded the Israelites to repent to avoid destruction.
It was where they gave sacrifices for the atonement of their sins.
Furthermore, the prophet was sent:
1. Ahead of Jesus(Mk 1:1-3); and
2. Ahead of the coming wrath(Mt 3:1-10) so that
He would urge Israel to repent - this was the beginning of the gospel.
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days(Jn 2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would become a ransom for all men(Mt 20:28).
As He died, He said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Laid down His life and fulfilled the Father's will(Jn 10:17-18);
2. Condemned the origin of sin(1Jn 3:8); and
3. Bore sins of all men on to His body and shed His blood to redeem them(Mt 20:28; 1Pe 2:24).
Jesus rose and ascended the heavenly throne and
The Holy Spirit whom sent
Preaches the gospel of repentance.
The gospel declares that all who repent can be forgiven(Ac 2:38);
This is a principle that God never granted the angels - thus, it is grace(He 2:16).
There are two stages of repentance:
1. One-time repentance - confessing that one is sinner
- born-again(e.g., sin offering)(Ac 2:38; Rm 10:10);
2. Continuous repentance - confessing evil deeds
- sanctification(e.g., guilt offering)(1Jn 1:8-10).
Repentance is the act of honoring the attribute and the character of God.
Because it pleases Him:
1. Curse ends and there is healing(Job 42:1-6, Job 42:10);
2. Blessings follow; and
3. He helps us to cut off evil deeds.
He who does not repent, however,
Makes God a liar(1Jn 1:8) and he is irrelevant to the Truth.
Furthermore, he is a hypocritical liar whose
Conscience is seared with a hot iron(1Ti 4:2).
The man of the Spirit is he who
Received grace and has an experience of repentance in the past and
Hears the voice of the Holy Spirit today(Rev2-3).
Therefore:
1. He fears sin and is ashamed of it(Ps 22:6, Ps 73:2);
2. Without resenting anyone else, he first repents(Mt 5:6); and
3. He repents before the day passes,
For he truly regrets with a broken and contrite heart(Ps 51:17).
O Lord,
You did not command us who are like worms the Law, but repentance.
This is grace! Thank You!
Let the tears of repentance burst out from the deepest place of our souls.
Amen.
God is merciful.
His mercy endures forever and
To those who remember His mercy, He shows even greater mercy.
Faith is receiving Him and
The life of this faith is remembering Him in every season and giving thanks.
Satan, Lucifer, forgot to give thanks for his domain in heaven(Eze 28:13-15) and
Left his position that was for giving thanks(Is 14:12-15).
Consequently, he was brought down to the eternal darkness(Jude 1:6).
Deceived by Satan, i.e., the devil,
Adam forgot to whom he should thank and sinned;
As a result, he lost all things for which he would have given thanks(Ge 3:23).
Miraculously leaving Egypt after 430 years of slavery(Ex 12:29-32),
The Israelites walked through the sea and
Their beginning as a people was with thanksgiving(Ex 14:16-21, Ex 15:1-18).
Once they entered the desert, however,
They began to grumble(Ex 16:3).
Their history thereafter was
A repeat of complaints and thanksgiving according to their conditions and environments.
Thus, God made as law for them to give thanks
To Him for such unforgettable historical events, and
That was through the Lord's feasts(Lev 23:1-44):
The Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, the Sabbath,
The Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacle etc.
The ordinances regarding them were:
1. Do no regular work;
2. Come to sacred assembly; and
3. Present thanksgiving offering(burnt offerings).
The sanctuary reminded them
To remember for generations that God brought them out of their slavery.
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days(Jn 2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body
He would fulfill the Law and give new reasons for thanksgiving.
As He died, He said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Gave Himself as a thanksgiving offering to the Father who appointed Him as
the Heir of all, and completed the Law, i.e., all feasts(He 1:2, He 8:3, He 10:9);
2. Condemned the ungrateful one(Eze 28:13-15; 1Jn 3:18); and
3. With His blood redeemed all men and showed mercy, and restored the
conditions for their thanksgiving(Mt 20:28; Rm 8:3).
The Father raised Him and
Jesus ascended to the heavenly throne and forever receives thanks there(Rev 11:17).
The Holy Spirit came in the name Yeshua and
Lets those who received His mercy know the reason for thanksgiving(1Co 2:10-12).
The Old Testament men gave thanks to Jehovah(Ex 3:14; Ps 136:1-26)
Because He was their: 1) God; 2) Lord; 3) King; and 4) Shepherd.
The New Testament men give thanks to Yeshua because He is their:
1. God(Jn 20:28);
2. Lord(Ac 2:36);
3. King(Mt 16:16);
4. Shepherd(Jn 10:11);
5. Father(Rm 8:16); and
6. Groom(Mt 22:2; Rev 21:9).
The man of the Spirit is
Completely satisfied by
Knowing Yeshua and receiving His name alone.
Therefore, he can surpass any tribulation or hardship(Rm 8:31-39), and
He always gives thanks.
O Lord,
My God, my Lord, my King, my Shepherd, my Father and my Groom!
I am greatly and completely satisfied with the name, Yeshua.
Thank You, thank You!
Amen.
God is the only God and the God of love(1Ti 1:7; 1Jn 4:8).
He alone is self-existing and completely satisfied, and
He delights in dwelling with those whom He loves(Jn 14:6).
The idea of being "alone and that of being "with
Appear opposite, yet they are related.
Whether God exists alone or with anyone,
There is absolutely nothing that He lacks.
Faith is making the decision to living with Him and
The life of this faith is abiding with the Lord,
Doing the work that pleases Him and never being lonely until the end.
God made woman from one of Adam's ribs and
She became a helper suitable for him(Ge 2:18) for
God alone lives alone.
However, Adam sinned by the woman who was with him(Ge 3:12) and
One of his sons killed the other and became a restless wanderer(Ge 4:8, Ge 4:12-13), for
Sinner's outcome is jealousy, mistrust and isolation.
Moses was called while he was living alone in the desert(Ex 3:4).
Thereafter, he held on to his rod alone and led the Israelites to exodus(Ex 4:15-7).
In spite of the mistrust and the opposition of his own people,
Moses was not lonely because God was with him.
In the sanctuary, God promised to dwell in His name, Jehovah(1Ki 8:16).
It reminded the Israelites that God was always with their fathers(Dt 2:7; 1Ki 8:57).
Though the history of Israel was the continuation of lostness and captivity,
They were thus comforted by the visible Temple(Mt 24:1).
However, Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days(Jn 2:19-21),
Because through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would tear down the name Jehovah that was outside the body and
Give the name Yeshua that is in the minds and the hearts of men(He 8:9-10).
In the beginning was the Word in the bosom of the Father and
He is the only God(Jn 1:1, Jn 1:18).
In the last days, the Word became flesh and dwelled among men and
He is Immanuel(Jn 1:14; Mt 1:23).
Though the multitudes neglected Him and the disciples betrayed Him,
Jesus was never lonely for the Father is always with Him(Jn 8:29, Jn 16:32).
As He died alone, Jesus said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Fulfilled the Father's will and committed His soul to Him(Lk 23:46);
2. Condemned the divider(Ge 3:4-6); and
3. Through His blood of redemption set souls free(Eph 1:7).
Jesus rose and ascended to the heavenly throne(Ac 5:30) and:
1. He is eternally with the Father and became one with Him(1Co 15:28; Rev 21:22); and
2. He eternally dwells through the Holy Spirit with those who long to be with Him(Jn 16:7; Rev 3:20).
The man of the Spirit is
He whose heart is totally filled with Yeshua and His name(Jn 16:17-22).
Though alone, he is never lonely; though isolated, he is never alone.
He is content whether he is married or not for
He is totally satisfied with the Lord alone(1Co 7:29-30, 1Co 7:40).
Therefore, He goes into his room for an intimate fellowship with the Lord, and
Lives attached to the body of Christ, the church(Rev 21:2-4; 1Co 3:16).
Furthermore, going to the ends of the earth, he makes disciples and
Finally gains a helper(1Ki 18:22, 1Ki 19:4).
O Lord,
We are isolated from the world and segregated even from the church community,
But we are not lonely or afraid because You are with us.
Let us walk alone with You, with the name Yeshua!
Until You take us in that day, let us love one another all the more.
Amen.
God is worthy.
He promises precious things,
He vows with precious things, and
He rewards with precious things to those with precious faith.
Faith is loving Him and
The life of this faith is eliminating unclean things in order to enter the place where only the worthy dwell.
Deceived by the devil who
Attempted to challenge the Most High and was cast down(Is 14:14; Ge 3:5),
Adam was banished from the Garden of Eden which was surrounded by pure gold(Ge 3:23) and
He could never return there for it became shielded with the flaming sword(Ge 3:24).
God chose the Israelites and let them live in Egypt as slaves(Ge 15:13-16) and
Only after 430 years brought them into the land He promised to Abraham(Ge 17:8) for
It was foreshadow for the offspring of faith entering the heavenly Garden of Eden.
All but Joshua and Caleb fell in the desert and died
Without entering the Promised Land(Nu 14:30) for God abandons those without without faith.
The first covenant, i.e., the Law(Ex 24:6; He 9:18):
1. It was established with the blood of animals; and
2. It promised them that if they obeyed it, they would enter and dwell in the Promised Land(Nu 30:20).
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise in three days, and angered the Jews(Mt 26:59-61)
As it posed a great threat to their right to dwell in the land.
Nevertheless, through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body(Jn 2:19),
He would tear down the first covenant and raise a new.
Through His suffering, He fulfilled
The Law and the writing of the Prophets, i.e., the first covenant(Lk 24:25-27), and
Through His resurrection, He entered His glory and
Brought many sons into glory(He 2:10).
With His own blood, He entered the true sanctuary(He 9:12, He 9:24) and
His blood became the guarantee of the new covenant(Mt 26:28).
Precious faith(2Pe 1:1-4, 2Pe 1:11) is
Having the precious promise, i.e., the new covenant, that is
Of entering a new heaven and a new earth, which was
Vowed with the blood of Christ.
In heaven is the New Jerusalem,
A beautiful city, whose walls are made of every kind of precious stone(Rev 21:10, Rev18-27).
There is no temple in the city and
The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it for
The glory of God and the Lamb is surrounded by precious stones and shines forever(Rev 21:22-23).
For precious stones must be carved out to give light(1Pe 2:4, 1Pe 2:9),
Those with the precious promise, i.e., those, who by the Spirit, see heaven(Rev 21:10)
Struggle to carve out the impure, the shameful and the deceitful things from themselves(Rev 21:27).
Therefore, they make every effort to add to their faith goodness, to goodness knowledge,
To knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness,
To godliness brotherly kindness, and to kindness love(2Pe 1:5-6).
Finally, in crowns adorned with precious stones, they will enter the Holy City(Rev 21:24)
O Lord,
To this life that dwells in dust homes and finally returns to dust
You gave a splendid home in heaven!
Whatever the price we may pay,
Let us all enter there.
Holy Spirit, open our eyes to see heaven! Amen.
God is worthy(Ps 92:8).
His being is worthy and
He is surrounded by those who are worthy.
Faith is discovering this fact and loving His worthiness and
The life of this faith is selling one's treasure and trading it with His worthiness to be his own.
"Worthy refers to something that is high of value.
In the world it is:
1. Something that does not change;
2. Something that is strong; and
3. Precious stone that is iridescent, that has luminous colors.
It is also used as the symbol or the measurement of one's wealth.
In the spiritual heaven is the throne adorned with precious stones.
Its street is of pure gold and
Only those wearing crowns adorned with precious stones enter it(Ez 28:13; Rev 21:11-24).
In spite of the fact that he was made for the throne to be worthy,
Luciel(the luminous archangel) attempted to become worthy himself.
Consequently, he became Satan and was
Cast down into Sheol, the darkness(Is 14:12-15).
Deceived by Satan, i.e., the devil,
Adam wanted to be like God(Ge 3:4-6), and
As a result, he was banished from the Garden of Eden, which was
Surrounded by all types of precious stones(Ge 2:11).
When God brought the Israelites out of Egypt after 430 years of slavery,
He let them take possession of all jewels of Egypt and put them on their children(Ex 3:22) for
This was the beginning of His work to
Deliver all men from their slavery under the devil and
Make them sons of the Most High(Is 43:4).
With those jewels, God had them build the sanctuary in the desert(Ex 25:3-8) and
Also adorn the tunic, the ephod and the breastplate of the priests(Ex 28:4) because
God dwells among the worthy.
Jesus said, "Destroy the temple and I will raise it again in three days(Jn 2:19-12), and
Angered the Jews who eventually led Him to death(Mt 26:61-66) for
The temple was their national treasure, if not their idol(Jdg 8:27; 1Sa23, 30).
What He meant, however, was that
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would reveal that He is the worthy One(Jn 2:21).
He is the Word that became flesh,
The glory of the Only Begotten Son(Jn 1:14).
To those who believe Him, He is a precious stone,
While to those who do not, He is the stone the builders rejected(1Pe 2:7).
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. With His blood, the precious stone, purchased the throne that the Father prepare for Him before the creation of the world(Mt 13:44);
2. Condemned the angel who attempted to steal the throne of God(Is 14:12-15); and
3. With His precious blood that is without blemish or defect, that was before the creation of the world, purchased men who were slaves of the devil(1Pe 1:18-20).
The Father raised Him up and
Jesus sat on the heavenly throne as the worthy One(Rev 5:12).
The Holy Spirit whom He sent
Comes in the name Yeshua and
Preaches the gospel of the kingdom of heaven.
The kingdom of heaven is like
A man who bought the hidden treasure in a field(Mt 13:44).
As such, with His precious blood, Jesus bought faith that is precious.
Precious faith is recognizing the worth of the blood of Christ.
It is knowing that:
1. By His innocent blood, one's sins have been washed and he has become also without blemish or defect(1Pe 1:18-19);
2. By His precious blood, he was born again and has become a child of the worthy God(Jn 1:12); and
3. He has the faith purchased at the highest price - thus, such faith can never be sold for things inferior.
The man of the Spirit has such precious faith.
Therefore, he surrenders his all
In order to be found by Jesus as His precious stones when He returns(Lk 18:8) and
Be taken up to His throne(Rev 21:26-27).
O Lord,
My precious faith!
I rather give up my life than give up this faith! Amen.

God is the God of revelation(Jn 1:1).
He reveals Himself in His time and according to His ways(Jn 1:14; Gal 4:4-5), and
To those who love Him, He reveals Himself all the more(Jn 14:21).
Though religion and philosophy seek deity,
Because they do it according to the ways of man,
God hides Himself infinitely from them.
The Word(logos, the self-manifestation of God) is God.
It was determined before the creation of the world that
He would reveal Himself(1Pe 1:20).
Hence, when the time fully comes, He surely reveals Himself.
Faith is receiving this as-is(Jn 1:20), and
The life of this faith is carrying out the word as-is and bearing fruit(Mt 13:23).
In the Old Testament times,
God gave the word through angels, i.e., the Law(Ex 3:2, Ex 3:4; Ac 7:53) and
The Tablets inside the Testimony of the sanctuary
Reminded the Israelites that God spoke to Moses, to them.
The prophets were those to whom the word of the Lord came(1Sa 3:1, 1Sa 3:9; Jer 1:4) and
They prophesied what they heard with their ears “
Yet it was not the truth(Mt 13:17).
In the last times, the Word who was with the Father in the beginning(Jn 1:1, 1Jn 1:8)
Became flesh and He is the Only Begotten Son(Jn 1:14), and
He said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days(Jn 2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would reveal God and His will.
As such, He spoke the words of the Father, which are the truth(Jn 12:50).
While heaven and earth will pass away, His words will never pass away(Mt 5:18, Mt 24:35).
Furthermore, His words will judge in the last day(Jn 12:48).
As a kernel of wheat, Jesus fell to the ground and died(Jn 12:24).
And as He died, He said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Laid down His life to gain it and fulfilled the Father's will(Jn 10:17-18);
2. Condemned the origin of sin(1Jn 3:8); and
3. Sowed His blood on the fields of souls so that they would receive redemption, life, resurrection and eternal life(Mt 20:28; Jn 12:24).
Jesus sowed in tears but reaped with songs of joy:
The Father raised Him and He ascended to the heavenly throne.
The Holy Spirit comes to those born again of
Not perishable seed but of the imperishable seed, His blood(Mt 13:38; 1Pe 1:23) and
He speaks to the churches today and warns to him who has an ear to hear(Rev2-3).
The kingdom of heaven is like a farmer sowing his seed(Mt 13:1-23).
The seed is the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, the message about heaven, i.e., the gospel.
Whether he bears fruit or not is determined by
The ears that hear, the nature of his heart.
The fields that cannot bear fruit are:
1. The path “ trampled by arguments, distractions etc;
2. Rocky places “ cannot overcome tribulation, persecution or burden; and
3. Thorns “ cannot lay down the temptations or the worries of reality.
However, the field that bears fruit is good soil:
The heart that hears the secrets of the kingdom of heaven and
Immediately takes action.
Those who bear fruit will be blessed and given eternal life,
While those who do not bear fruit will be cursed and thrown into the fire in the end(He 6:7).
O Lord,
My flesh is an opportunity, a brief season to sow.
Let me not waste this time.
Rather, let me spend it to sow and bear fruits.
Lord, give me, my family and church
The ear that hears the word! Amen.
God is the eternal Father(Is 9:6).
He bears children through His eternal blood(He 9:11-15),
He nurtures them through the eternal Holy Spirit and
He inherits the eternal inheritance to them.
Faith is welcoming and receiving this promise and
The life of this faith is fighting to gain the eternal inheritance.
Inheritance or legacy cannot be sold or terminated;
It is inherited down for generations.
While God gave the land of Canaan as inheritance to
Abram who had been living there and to his descendents(Ge 17:8),
It would be fulfilled only after 430 years of their slavery(Ge 15:13-14).
Before his descendents, i.e., the Israelites, crossed the Jordan(Dt 12:10),
The land was distributed by lot for each tribe(Nu 26:55) “
After they considered it a holy land, a sacred district and fought to win it(Eze 45:1).
The Levites, on the other hand, received a separate inheritance(Nu 18:20-21):
While they had no inheritance or share in the land,
They received priesthood, the sanctuary and the tithes of Israel(Nu 18:24; Jos 18:7; Eze 45:1-5).
Hence, when Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise in three days(Jn 2:19-21),
He angered the priests, especially the high priest Caiaphas(Mt 26:59-68) because
They feared losing their inheritance.
However, through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
Jesus was going to tear down the earthly sanctuary and enter the eternal sanctuary, heaven
For He came as the eternal High Priest(He 9:11, He 9:24).
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Laying down His life, gained the sacred district, i.e., heaven, and offered it to the Father who, in turn, gave it back to Him(Eze 45:1, 46:16-18; Jn 10:17-18);
2. Condemned the angel who challenged God(Is 14:12-15); and
3. Tore His flesh like veil(He 10:20) and with His eternal blood obtained eternal redemption for all men(He 9:12).
Thus, the Father gave the beautiful inheritance, the name Yeshua(He 1:4-5; Php 2:6-11)
To not angels, not servants(Is 54:17) but only the Son(Eze 46:16).
The Holy Spirit gives the name Yeshua
As inheritance to His children(Jn 1:12), and
Lets them fight and win for the eternal inheritance.
The men of the Spirit are:
1. The children of God †’ they do not yield the right to pray;
2. All priests †’ they do not yield the right to worship; and
3. The kingdom of heaven †’ they rather surrender their life or the world but never surrender it.
Since an inheritance is received and passed down, they pass it on to:
1. Their children “ the most beautiful name, Yeshua, as inheritance; and
2. Their neighbors “ they risk their life to gain souls,
For they long to finally enter their eternal land.
O Lord,
My eternal inheritance to pass down to generations “ the name Yeshua!
I rather surrender my life than surrender this inheritance.
This is my land!
Amen.

God is the Everlasting Father(Is 9:6).
He gives birth through the living and enduring word(1Pe 1:23-25) and
He gives the eternal inheritance to them(He 1:4).
Faith is knowing Him and longing for Him and
The life of this faith is living for the soul for the rest of one's earthly life(1Pe 4:2).
God's judgment by flood during Noah's time illustrated that
There is no value in preserving neither
The life of man's flesh nor the glory or his civilization(Ge 6:17) for
The flesh, like the grass, has a time limit as it lives by breath.
Deceived by the devil, Adam sinned and
Because of one man's sin(Rm 5:12),
All men were bound to face judgment(He 9:27).
God gave the Law so that
Those who were already sinners would become utterly sinful(Rm 7:7-9, Rm 7:14) and
Be led to the One who will save, the Christ(Gal 3:23-24).
The Tablets inside the Testimony of the sanctuary that
God commanded the Israelites reminded them
To fear God who judges and punishes sin.
Jesus said, "Destroy the temple and I will raise it again in three days(Jn 2:19-21), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would fulfill the requirement of the Law for
He was chosen before the creation(1Pe 1:20),
The Word that became flesh in the last times(Jn 1:14).
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Laid down His life and sowed it according to the Father's command
(Jn 10:17-18, Jn 12:24);
2. Condemned the devil, the origin of sin(1Jn 3:8); and
3. Bore the sins of men in His body and became sin,
the target, as death stung Him to death, and sprinkled His blood on souls
to give birth to them(Rm 8:3; 1Co 15:56; 2Co 5:21; 1Pe 2:24).
The Father raised Him and Jesus ascended to the heavenly throne and
He is our everlasting Father in heaven.
One died for all men(2Co 5:14-15) and all men died.
Then, one lives on behalf of all(Rm 6:10-11) so that they would also live(1Co 14:21).
The Holy Spirit comes to those who,
Through the seed of the living and enduring word, the blood of Jesus,
Became alive(1Pe 1:23), and
Lets them sow not to please their sinful nature but to please the Spirit,
For eternal life(Gal 6:8-9), for the rest of their earthly life(1Pe 4:1-5).
The people of the Spirit are those who,
For Jesus put an end to the sin in the flesh,
Fight against fleshly desires and overcome(1Pe 2:11) and turn sin into past(1Pe 4:3), and
Because the flesh is a soil(1Co 3:9), they do not miss its brief season(Jas 4:13-15) and
Therefore, diligently sow the seed of the word(He 6:1-7) and bear fruit for
They desire to be judged as the living on the day the Lord returns(2Ti 4:1).
O Lord,
I now know Your plan and the vanity of man's life.
But because of this evil nature I inherited with my flesh and blood and
Because of the evil habits I developed throughout my life,
I am losing my precious time in earthly life.
Let me know that this day alone is my given day and live the best for my soul.
Help me, Lord! Amen.
God is the Lord of glory(Ps 19:1).
Glory comes from Him(Jn 1:14), and
All glories return to Him(Rm 11:36).
Faith is having pride through His glory and
The life of this faith is about boasting in the Lord in order to enter His glory.
It is human nature to want to boast.
While the toil of man is for sources of boast,
The happiness of man is determined by having such or not.
Though the archangel was given beauty and talents(Ez 28:12-13) to give all glories to God,
He became proud and challenged the throne of God(Is 14:11-15).
Consequently, God threw him into Hades where
He was eternally made a spectacle(Ez 28:17) and
Shamefully called Satan(Rev 12:9).
Deceived by him, Adam sinned and
All men became destined to suffer in eternal shame and pain(Rm 5:12).
While the Israelites were in dishonor as slaves in Egypt for 430 years,
God called them(Ex 3:10) and made them His holy people(Ex 19:6).
Furthermore, according to the Law
They made good impressions outwardly through circumcision(Ex 12:48; Gal 6:12).
Therefore, the sanctuary which reminded them this was their pride.
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days(Jn 2:19-21), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would take away all men's shame and clothe them with pride(Ge 3:21) by
Becoming a ransom for them(Mt 20:28).
Though in flesh, He had no beauty of majesty, nothing to boast,
He is, however, the very nature God that became flesh(Php 2:6),
The glory of the Only Begotten Son(Jn 1:1, 14)
Without refusing the shameful cross,
He said, "It is finished and died(Jn 19:30) for He:
Laid down His life for the glory set before Him(Jn 10:17-18; He 12:2);
Condemned the devil who tried to steal the glory of God(Is 14:12-15); and
Consumed all men's shame, i.e., their sin, onto His body and shed His blood to redeem them(Eph 2:16).
The Father raised Him up and sat Him on the throne,
Giving Him the name Yeshua forever(Php 2:9-11) for
He is God's boast, pride and ego.
The Holy Spirit whom He sent comes in the name Yeshua and
Lets souls boast in the Lord.
The man of the Spirit honestly confesses that he has nothing to boast.
Therefore, he zealously boasts about:
The name Yeshua and His works(Jer 4:2; Ps 20:7; Eph 2:6-8);
His worth “ a man who became alive by the redemption of Christ “ ransom < sinner < man < God(Mt 20:28; 1Pe 1:18-19; 1Co 3:23); and
His weaknesses(2Co 11:30, 12:5-10),
In order that he may boast on the day of Christ(Php 2:16).
O Lord,
Thank You for calling me
While I was weak, broken and poor, and
Giving me this proud name, Yeshua!
Thank You for turning my foolishness, weakness and lowliness
Into reasons for boasting in the Lord!
I will boast all the more! Amen.

God is the Lord of grace(Ps 111:4).
Grace comes from Him alone and
To those who know grace, He abundantly gives all the more(Ex 33:19).
Faith is knowing the value of grace and
The life of this faith is knowing everything as grace and giving thanks, and testifying to the gospel of grace.
"Grace refers to gift:
1. It is priceless “ no need for any price(Eph 2:8);
2. It is worthy, costly “ it cannot be exchanged with silver or gold or works of men(1Pe 1:18-19);
3. It is given unilaterally “ while it is given more to those who long for it(Rm 8:32), it is seized from those who disregard it(Mt 25:29).
While God gave grace unilaterally to men, regardless of whether they know it or not,
He gave it in two stages in order for them to know and receive it(Jn 1:16);
The former grace “ nature “ to men “ while they live;
The latter grace “ the Only Begotten Son “ to souls “ eternal life.
Though through Adam's sin(Rm 5:12)
Death entered all men, no one knew it;
Hence, all were bound to be destroyed.
The Law came and tt made sin utterly sinful
and silenced every mouth(Rm 3:19, 5:20-21).
While the Tablets inside the Testimony of the sanctuary reminded the Israelites this,
The mercyseat above the Testimony reminded them that God showed mercy to them.
Thus, every year they gave sacrifices to make atonement for their sins there;
Yet it was not perfect(He 10:3-4).
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it in three days(Jn 2:19-21), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would give His life as ransom for sinners(Mt 20:28) for
He is the Word with the Father in the beginning that became flesh, full of grace(Jn 1:1, Jn 1:14).
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Laid down His life because He trusted that the Father would give grace toHim who was in Hades and receive His soul(Ps 86:13; Lk 23:26);
2. Condemned the devil, the ruler of death(He 2:14); and
3. Carried the sins of men and redeemed them by His blood(2Co 5:21; 1Pe 2:24).
The Father raised Him up and Jesus sat on the throne of grace(He 4:16), and
He is the Lord of grace.
The Holy Spirit is the Sprit of grace who
Testifies to the gospel of grace(Ac 20:24) and
Lets believers know the things that God gave as grace(1Co 2:12).
By grace, one is saved through faith(Eph 2:8) and
By grace, one is justified freely through faith(Rm 3:24).
The people of the Spirit know as grace:
The benefits from nature;
The works of Christ “ because of the Law, they could receive the Law(past) and because of the Law, grace overflows all the more(present);
His calling(Gal 1:6; 15); and
Being struck(Ps 141:5).
Therefore, they always give thanks whether in wealth or poverty,
in health or sickness, and
They are compelled by the Spirit to testify to the gospel of grace and
Face hardships along the way(Ac 20:22-24; Rm 1:14).
O Lord,
Thank You for letting me hear the gospel and know the truth.
Thank You for letting me run towards the goal of resurrection.
By Your grace, I am what I am!
Let the river of grace continue to flow out of my soul!
Amen.
God is the Lord.
By word, He commands and
By word, He governs.
Faith is knowing Him and
The life of this faith is voluntarily seeking His command and being governed by it.
Adam, the created living being(Ge 2:7),
Lives by the life-giving spirit given by God(1Co 15:45) “ that is,
The word, command(Jn 12:50).
Deceived by the devil, however,
Adam broke the command and sinned.
Consequently death entered all men(Rm 5:12; Eph 2:1) and
They became slaves of the devil(2Pe 2:19).
When the Israelites were slaves in Egypt,
God sent Moses and commanded the pharaoh to let them go.
The Law was the word delivered by angel(Ac 7:53; He 2:2), and
It commanded them, "Do not do;
Thus, there was only oppression.
The Tablets inside the Testimony of the sanctuary
Reminded them that God was their Lord and they were His people “
As long as they followed His command.
Jesus said, "Destroy the temple and I will raise it again in three days(Jn 2:19-21), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would reveal that He is the Lord for
He is the Word that was with God in the beginning(Jn 1:1, 14) who
Called things that were not as though they were and made all things(Jn 1:3; Rm 4:17; He 11:3)
Accordingly, while He was in flesh,
He called the dead as though he was alive(Jn 11:43-44),
He commanded demons and they obeyed and left(Mk 9:25-56),
He commanded to the winds and the waves, and it became calm(Mt 8:26), and
He commanded Peter to come to Him and he walked on water(Mt 14:28-29).
In spite of the fact that He is the Commander, however,
The moment He left the Father's bosom, He became a follower(Jn 12:49).
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
Laid down His life according to the Father's command and received eternal life(Jn 10:17-18; 12:50);
Condemned the devil, the ruler of death(He 2:14); and
Shed His blood and redeemed the sins of men, giving life for them to drink(Jn 6:53; Eph 1:7).
The Father raised Him up and Jesus sat on the heavenly throne(Php 2:6-11), where
He is the Commander-in-Chief, the Lord of all.
The gospel is the word announced by the Lord(He 2:3), and
It commands, "Receive grace;
Thus, there is freedom and autonomy(Jn 1:17).
The Holy Spirit comes to
Those who received the grace of His redemption and have come alive, and
Loudly gives instructions to them from deep inside their souls(Ac 1:2).
The people of the Spirit are those who
Receive the word as command and run immediately and swiftly(Ps 147:15; Mt 4:19-22).
They pray, drive out demons and heal, preach, serve, give dedication,
All because of His command(Mt 7:7; Mk 3:15, 16:17; Ac 1:8; 2Ti 4:2; Gal 5:13; Eph 6:18).
And they hope to hear the Lord's loud command, "Rise!
When He returns(1Th 4:16).
O Lord,
Each moment I am alive, even in my dreams, until my last breath,
Let the Lord's command be heard and
On the day You return,
Command me to rise! Amen.
The Lord Needs It
(Lk 19:28-40)
God is the Lord of glory(Ps 29:3).
For His glory, He made all things(Is 43:21) and
He rewards with glory those who are gloriously used by Him(Mt 25:31, Mt 25:34; Rev 21:23-24).
Faith is knowing Him and longing for Him, and
The life of this faith is putting effort to be gloriously used by Him.
The Bible demonstrates that,
All things, the visible “ heaven, earth, man, kingdom, throne, kings and authorities “ and
The invisible “ heaven, earth, angels, kingdom, throne, king and authorities “ were
Made to be used by God(Col 1:16).
The angel's corruption and sin(Jude 1:6) was
Not unexpected(Eze 28:15) for
Even he was to be used until the day of disaster(Pr 16:4),
By being made a spectacle(Eze 28:17-19).
God made only one Adam(Mal 2:15) and
Gave a son to Abram who could not have child(Ge 18:10),
Not for them or for their needs,
But for God had a need(Ge 22:8).
Furthermore, God used Egypt and
The Israelites like a woman in labor.
He used the pharaoh and hardened his heart
To display His power and name(Rm 9:17-18).
He also used the Philistines and incited them(Is 9:11-2)
To strike Israel as a rod(Ps 23:4).
The glory of the Lord was in the sanctuary(Nu 16:19; 2Ch 5:14) and
The Tablets inside the Ark reminded that God nurtured them.
When the time had fully come,
The Son of God, Jesus came(Gal 4:4-5):
1. Under the Law “ the circumstance of His death; and
2. Born of the woman “ the condition of death(Lk 1:31).
Jesus said, "Destroy the temple and I will raise it again in three days(Jn 2:19-21), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would show the true glory of God for
He is the glory that was with the Father in the beginning(Jn 1:1, Jn 1:14, Jn 1:18, Jn 17:5),
The radiance of His glory(He 1:3).
As He died, He said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Laid down His life and used His body gloriously for the glory of the Father, and the Father, in turn, gave Him glory(Jn 10:17-18; Php 2:8-11);
2. Condemned the angel who wanted to steal God's glory(Is 14:12-15);
3. Sprinkled His blood and redeemed all men, preparing them to be used gloriously(He 9:21-22).
The Father raised Him up and Jesus sat on the throne and
He is the Lord of glory.
The Holy Spirit whom He sent
Comes in the name Yeshua to souls sprinkled with His blood and
Lets them see the glory of the Lord of glory.
The men of the Spirit are those who
Know that all things are used for the Lord, either wickedly or gloriously.
Therefore, when the Lord says He needs it(Lk 19:32, Lk 19:34),
Like Mary, like the colt, even if they are not ready,
They gloriously offer themselves(Lk 1:38) for
They long to be used not as weeds(Mt 13:30) that will be burned,
But as wheat that will finally see His glory in that day.
O Lord,
Everything that we have, our bodies and our souls are Yours.
Even if we are flawed,
Use us according to Your need until the end! Amen.
Seek the Lost
(Lk 19:5-10)
God is the Lord of salvation.
He is the source of eternal salvation(He 5:9; Ps 3:8; Jnh 2:9) and
He saves and becomes eternal Lord.
Salvation is only possible when
In despair or danger of life
One realizes that there is no method, direction or power for him to escape on his own
And sends a signal seeking salvation.
Faith is being found by the Savior and being saved(Ps 119:76) and
The life of this faith is seeking the lost with the heart of saving souls.
While God hold on to the angels when they sinned(He 2:16),
He held on to Adam who sinned because
He was deceived and became lost(Ge 3:4-5),
While the devil left his proper domain on his own and became the fallen(Is 14:12-15; Jude 1:6).
The Israelites are the chosen holy people of God(Jer 50:6).
God led the flock of sheep that was sold and wandered off to Egypt
Into the land Canaan.
Accordingly, the prophets cried out to them to repent(Mt 3:2) and
They were locked up by the net of the Law(Gal 3:23-24) and
This was for them to be found by the Savoir Christ.
Jesus did not come to the world to judge it(Jn 12:47)
But to seek the lost and save them(Lk 19:10) “ that is,
Those under the Law as sinners(Rm 3:19-20).
The Holy Spirit pulls them before the cross on Calvary(Gal 3:1) and
That is where they hear the voice of the Lord who saved(Jn 14:26):
1. I died in your place(Mt 20:28); and
2. For there are many rooms in my Father's house, I will come back and take you there(Jn 14:2-3).
Christians are those who now
Know the direction of life and never wander again, and
Gained the courage to life and never despair.
Instead, to seek the lost(Mt 10:6),
They go out to the streets, to the villages and to the ends of the earth.
While Christ first came to seek sinners,
When He returns, He will come to not bear sin but seek faith.
O Lord,
Thank You for seeking me
When I was in despair and lost as I tried to life this one life on my own.
A wretch like me!
Let those who are still lost even inside the church go back to Calvary and
When I go out to the world, let me not see men but souls!
Amen.
The Lord of Sabbath
(Mk 2:23-28)
God is the Lord of rest.
Rest comes from Him(Is 14:3) and
He lets those who obey Him enter His rest(He 3:18).
Faith is believing Him and longing for Him, and
The life of this faith is obeying the word in order to enter the eternal rest(He 4:11).
While people seek rest by
Going on vacations and acquiring big houses,
No rest is better than sleep.
Since insomnia is the worst torture, some even choose suicide as a way out of it.
Its result, however, is hell where
There is no rest forever because of fire and burning sulfur(Rev 14:10-11).
After God finished His work of creation(Ge 2:2-3),
He blessed the seventh day, made it holy and entered rest “ this is the model of rest.
Deceived by the serpent,
Adam disobeyed the word of God and was subsequently banished from the Garden.
Thereafter, all men lost rest and had to suffer from life's hardship(Ge 3:4-6, Ge 3:16-19, Ge 3:24).
This was actualized in details through
The slavery of Israel in Egypt was
The continuous toil where there was no way out but death.
After God sent Moses and brought them out into the desert,
He gave the Israelites the commandment of Sabbath to remember(Lev 19:30) that:
1. God is the Creator(Ex 20:8-11);
2. God delivered them from slavery(Dt 5:15); and
3. God promised them the land in which they would find rest(Dt 12:10).
As such, anyone breaking the Sabbath and defiling it was put to death(Nu 15:35).
Furthermore, they were commanded to give reverence for
The sanctuary and remember the Sabbath
Though the priests were permitted to work inside it on Sabbath.
When Jesus said, "Destroy the temple and I will raise it in three days(Jn 2:19), and
Healed and did things forbidden on the Sabbath(Mk 2:23-24, Mk 3:1-6; Jn 2:19),
He angered the Jews who had become slaves of the Sabbath especially due to the Pharisaic law.
However, through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
Jesus would reveal that:
1. He Himself is the Creator(Jn 1:2);
2. All men are slaves of the devil(2Pe 2:19); and
3. He would lead them to the Father's house(Jn 14:2-3).
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Obeyed the command and finished the toil of His flesh, commending His soul to the Father(Lk 23:46);
2. Condemned the devil who confused the rest in heaven(Is 14:12-15; 1Jn 3:8); and
3. Released all men who had been slaves of the devil(He 2:14-15).
Jesus rose on the first day after Sabbath and
Entered the eternal rest(Mk 28:1-6; Mk 16:19), and
He is seated on the throne as the Lord of rest.
The Holy Spirit comes to
The souls sanctified by His blood and to the church and
Lets them walk with the Lord towards the eternal rest.
The people of the Spirit
Find rest for their souls in worship,
Gather their faith and obey(He 3:14-19, He 4:1-10), and
Commit their burden to the Lord through repentance, prayer(Mt 11:28-30).
O Lord,
Let us never cease to pray and obey
While we are on earth so that
We can finally enter the Father's house and rest there forever! Amen.
Faith is Confidence
(Eph 3:12-13)
God is great(Ps 42:7, Ps 95:3).
Through His greatness, He reveals Himself and
For He is great, He rules all nations.
Faith is believing Him and gaining confidence(1Ti 3:13), and
The life of this faith is overcoming the world with confidence, in order to stand confidently before His
Throne(1Jn 4:17).
The men of faith recorded in the Bible, such as
Rahab, Gideon, David, Daniel etc(Dt 31:6-8; Jos 1:1-9, Jos 2:2-24; He 11:31-38; Mt 1:1),
All had confidence.
Deceived by the devil,
Adam sinned and death entered all(Rm 5:12) and
The devil became the ruler of death(He 2:14).
When Abraham received
The providence of giving his only son as a burnt offering,
He was ready to slain his son because he had faith, confidence(He 11:19).
Thus, God prepared a ram for him to give instead.
Instructed by Moses,
The Israelites who had been slaves for 430 years
Boldly marched out of Egypt overnight(Ex 14:8) and
Crossed the Red Sea, for
God fought for them(Ex 14:21-31).
Among the 12 tribe leaders of Israel who had gone
To Canaan to explore(Nu 13:2-3),
Joshua and Caleb were ready to swallow up Canaanites(Nu 14:9), and
As such, they conquered the land where milk and honey flowed(Nu 14:24).
The cowards, on the other hand, who
Considered themselves as grasshoppers(Nu 13:31-33)
All fell in the desert and died(Nu 14:23).
The Ark inside the sanctuary
Reminded the Israelites the greatness of God and
Thus, it was their confidence.
Jesus said, "Destroy the temple and I will raise it in three days(Jn 2:19-21), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would reveal that He is the great King(Jn 18:37) who came in flesh(Jn 1:1, Jn 1:14).
Hence, He rebuked
The sea(Mt 4:39) and demons(Mt 4:39),
As well as those in power(Mt 12:34, Mt 23:33).
And He boldly faced death(Lk 24:51; Jn 19:11).
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Laid down His life and obeyed the Father who alone is great(Jn 10:17-18; Php 2:8);
2. Condemned the devil who challenged the throne of God(Is 14:12-15); and
3. With His blood redeemed men, releasing them from slavery and the fear of death, and made a way for them to confidently approach the throne(He 2:14-15, He 10:19).
Jesus finally overcame the world and resurrected(Jn 16:33; Rev 3:21), and
Ascended to the heavenly throne.
The Holy Spirit came in the name Jesus to
Those whose confidence is His blood alone(He 10:19-20) and
Lets them have all the more confidence(Ac 4:8).
While every man is afraid of death,
Faith is not fearing death, for
The Lord Jesus carried sin, which is to be feared more than death(1Co 15:55-57).
Therefore, the men of the Spirit are those who:
1. Deliver the word of God without hesitation(Ac 4:13, Ac 4:29, Ac 23:11);
2. Never fear, whether it is poverty, sickness, war or even death(2Co 7:16); and
3. Confidently approach the throne of grace to receive grace to help them in their time of need(He 4:16; 1Jn 5:14).
And the world is not worthy of such people(He 11:31-38).
O Lord,
We are fragile like grasshoppers.
To overcome this big world and confidently stand before Your throne,
We need Your mercy.
Give us the faith that does not fear death!
Give us the confidence that the world is not worthy of! Amen.
Do the First Works
(Rev 2:1-7)
God is sincere.
He bears children through the word of truth(Jas 1:18) and
With sincerity, He loves men(Hos 2:19-20).
Faith is receiving this as-is and
The life of this faith is sincerely loving Him and loving Him more.
Men have no sincerity in them.
But the most sincere relationship among men is that between parent and child.
Yet it begins with flesh and ends with flesh.
The love of God, however, is eternal(Eph 1:3-6) for
His love was decided before creation, and
It will last forever even after this world fades away.
God replacing Adam's covering of fig leaves with
Garment of skin after he sinned and
Placing a flaming sword to keep him away from the tree of life was
expression of God's love(Ge 3:22-24).
The Law was a thornbush to
Wall the Israelites in so they would not serve other gods(Hos 1:5-11).
It commanded them to love the Lord God alone(Dt 6:4-15) for
He who is a jealous God loves with sincerity.
The Israelites loved the sanctuary(Ps 26:8, Ps 84:1) where
The tablets that reminded them this were inside the Ark.
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days(Jn 2:19-21), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would show the sincere love of God for all men(Jn 3:16; 1Jn 4:9-10) for
He is the Only Begotten Son who came from the Father(Jn 1:14),
The Father's beloved(Mt 3:17; Jn 15:9, Jn 17:24) given to men.
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Confirmed the sincere love of the Father who gave all things to the Son(Jn 17:24; He 1:2);
2. Condemned the devil who caused man to doubt God's love(1Jn 3:8); and
3. Died in place of men as an atoning sacrifice and redeemed their sins with His blood(Lk 7:47; 1Jn 4:8-10).
The Father raised Him up and Jesus ascended to
The Kingdom of the Son He loves and sat on the throne(Col 1:13).
The Holy Spirit came in the name Jesus and
Pours out the love of God on to the hearts of those who believe Him
So that they would sincerely love Him(Rm 5:5).
The people under the Law know
The Creator God through all things(Rm 1:20) and
Fear Him for His power.
The people under grace, however, know
The Redeemer God through the Son(1Pe 1:18-19) and
Love Him for they know that He suffered and died because of their sins(Lk 7:47).
Therefore, the people of the Spirit are those who
Here only the name Jesus, the gospel, His works etc and they:
1. Madly love the Lord;
2. Truly love the church;
3. Passionately love souls; and
4. Sincerely love their given duties.
The Holy Spirit warns to churches today(Rev 2:1-5) that
Those who have the appearance of
Perfectly carrying out their duties with zeal like Pharisees
Must repent and restore their first love, their first works.
Otherwise, He would remove their lampstand, i.e., spiritual inspiration.
O Lord,
I repent for expecting and rejoicing over things
Other than Your name, the gospel, Your works¦
Lord, help to be return to first love and do first works.
Lord, I am amazed by You alone! Amen.

The Mediator of a New Covenant
(He 9:11-22)
God is the God of covenant(Ps 89:34, Ps 105:8).
He makes relationships through covenant and
He surely carries out His covenant.
Faith is believing Him and making a relationships with Him and
The life of this faith is clinging on to His covenant, even if it appears risky to others.
Any religion without a divine covenant is only shamanism.
The differences between Judaism and Christianity is that between
The first covenant and the new covenant.
Yet Christianity is the faith by revelation,
The revelation of God that was never given to angels.
Deceived by the serpent, Adam ate the forbidden fruit and
Broke the covenant of God and, thus, banished from the Garden(Ge 3:4-6; Hos 6:7).
The Bible is written of the examples of how God carried out His covenant:
1. Noah and his family who built the ark and were saved from the flood(Ge 6:18-22);
2. Abraham who left his country when he was childless and became the father of a great nation(Ge 12:1-2, Ge 17:2);
3. The Israelites who were delivered from the slavery of 430 years in a foreign land and returned to the Promised Land etc.
The first covenant was made to the Israelites
Through Moses with the blood of animals(Ex 24:6-8).
Its content was:
1. God would be their God;
2. Their descendents would multiply;
3. God would give Canaan to them as inheritance(Ge 17:8).
And its symbol was circumcision and the Ark of covenant(Ge 17:10; Dt 31:26).
After they built the sanctuary, they placed
The stone tablets of covenant and the Book of Covenant(Ex 24:7; He 9:4) in it.
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days, because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body(Jn 2:19-21),
He would establish a new covenant written
Not on stone tablets but on hearts,
Not with the blood of animals but with His own blood(He 8:8-13, He 10:4-9).
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Died according to the Father's command and received resurrection according to the contract(Jn 10:18);
2. Judged the devil who caused Adam to break the covenant(Ge 3:4-6; 1Jn 3:8); and
3. Died in place of all men who sinned, fulfilling the first covenant, and by shedding His blood became the Mediator of the new covenant who forgives(He 9:15-22).
The new covenant is better than the first covenant because its content is(He 7:22, He 8:16):
1. God would be their Father;
2. He would sent the Holy Spirit to be with them forever(Mt 6:9; Jn 14:16);
3. When He returns He will take them to the Father's house(Jn 14:3).
Jesus resurrected and entered the heavenly sanctuary as the Ark of covenant(Rev 11:19).
The Holy Spirit whom He sent is the Spirit of covenant who
Enters believers as the Ark of covenant(1Co 3:16).
People of the Holy Spirit are
Those who cling on to His covenant,
Not their own emotions.
In Jesus name, they gather, worship, serve and give devotion.
In Jesus name, they pray, speak in tongues, heal and drive out demons(Mk 16:17-18)
For they want to show Him that they are living according to His word(Php 3:8).
O Lord,
Let us not trust our emotions.
Rather, let us trust Your covenant alone,
Even if it means surrendering social contract or social security.
Let us throw our life, our family upon Your covenant so that
We would be lifted up when You return. Amen.
He who is I AM
(Jn 1:1-3; Jn 8:56-59)
God is I AM(Ex 3:14).
He exists by Himself and
He makes will and does accordingly by Himself.
Faith is acknowledging Him and surrendering to live on one's autonomy and
The life of this faith is strictly living by His word.
People love the concept of "freedom, "independence, "autonomy, "nature etc, which
Refers to being on one's own, by oneself.
Such concept, however, especially "nature, is unbiblical if not Satanic because
All things are by God and through God(He 2:10).
As such, God does not acknowledge religion since it is generated naturally.
He does not forgive suicide because it is a way out on man's own terms.
Sin is being deceived to think a creation can live on its own, and
The origin of sin is the devil who, in heaven
Wanted to be like God and left his proper domain, position on his own(Is 14:12-15).
Subsequently, he was kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for
Judgment on the great Day(Jude 1:6).
Deceived by the devil,
Adam listened to Eve who sinned by wanting to be like God(Ge 3:4-6), and
Ate the forbidden fruit, as a result of which
They were banished from the Garden(Ge 3:24).
"Israel is the name that Jacob received
After wresting with an angel at Jabbok(Ge 32:22-30).
He who had strived to live on his own received
The name to live by God's help.
The Israelites who left Egypt by I AM were
Brought into the desert(Ex 3:14) to be tested
The limits of such stiff-necked people living on their own(Dt 8:14-16).
Though the Law and the sanctuary reminded them this(Ex 20:2),
They did not seek God even in the midst of wars and plagues,
Because of which they collapsed(2Ch 16:12-13; Is 30:1-3).
Jesus said, "Destroy the temple and I will raise it again in three days(Jn 2:19-21), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would show that He is I AM(Jn 8:56), for
He is the Word in the beginning who
Came in the very nature of a servant, in flesh(Jn 1:14, Php 2:7-8).
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Died according to the command and acknowledged the Father who is I AM(Jn 10:18);
2. Judged the devil, the origin of sin(1Jn 3:8); and
3. Redeemed all men who sinned because of the limits of the flesh(1Pe 1:18-19).
The Father raised Him and He ascended to the heavenly throne, and
He sent the Holy Spirit(Ac 2:32-33) who
Comes to the hearts of the poor who have
Neither the qualification to be saved by their righteousness
Nor the strength of their own to live(Mt 5:3).
The men of Spirit are those who:
1. Deny themselves and live by trusting the word(Lk 5:5);
2. Know that there is no other way but prayer in the name Jesus(Mt 5:3); and
3. Never leave the church on their own(Jn 15:5-6; Ac 13:1-4) for
It is their hope to be raised among the dead in the last day.
O Lord,
Let my thoughts never surpass the Holy Spirit.
Let me live only by prayer and only by the word!
Let me remain in the church! Amen.

Called To Be Free
(Gal 5:1, Gal 5:13-15)
God is the Father of truth.
He gives birth to His children through the word of truth(Jas 1:18) and
He sets them free by truth.
Faith is responding to His calling and receiving freedom.
The life of this faith is willingly becoming slaves until one arrives at the kingdom of eternal freedom.
While everyone wants freedom,
True freedom comes from keeping the law and order and
It is only possible when one finds freedom in keeping it.
Truth is the law that gives freedom(Jas 1:25) and
It is desperately sought by
The bound, the imprisoned and the oppressed “ i.e., sinners, captives and slaves.
The history of the Bible is
Laying the tracks for the train named Truth to come.
Because Adam ate the forbidden fruit and sinned,
All men became slaves of the devil, the ruler of death(2Pe 2:19).
After 430 years of slavery,
The Israelites followed Moses seeking freedom and left Egypt(Ex 6:6-7).
Once the Law came, however,
They were caught in its net and struggled since no flesh is without sin.
Thus, they waited for the price of sin, death(Rm 3:19-20).
The stone tablets inside the Ark of the sanctuary
Reminded them that as long as they kept the Law,
Their freedom was guaranteed.
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days(Jn 2:19-21), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would fulfill the Law, its demand “ death “ and
Set souls free.
The Son of God born of a woman, born under law(Gal 4:4-5) for
Only as man and only with sin He could die.
Jesus is the Truth that came on the tracks of the Prophets and the Law(Mt 11:12-13).
As such, He recovered sigh for the blind, released the oppressed,
Raised the dead and freed the prisoners(Lk 4:18).
Yet, He was arrested and crucified, and
As He died, Jesus said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Willing obeyed the Father's command and died(Jn 10:18; Php 2:8);
2. Condemned the devil, the ruler of death(He 2:14); and
3. With His blood redeemed and released those dead in Adam and under the Law(Gal 4:5).
Hence, the cross is where
Sin, the price of sin(death) and the written code were all nailed(Col 2:13; Rm 7:1-6).
Now, whosoever knows the truth can
Break the chains of that bondage(Jn 8:32).
Jesus rose and ascended to heaven where He is the eternal freedom and
The Holy Spirit has gathers
Those called to be free as the church(Eph 4:4; 2Co 3:17).
The man of the Spirit does not use
His freedom to indulge the sinful nature;
Rather, he willingly serves others in love(Gal 5:1, Gal 5:13).
The summary of the Law is to love God and to love their neighbors.
Yet those under the Law kept it by force, out of fear for punishment(Ex 21:2-6).
Those under the truth, however:
1. Willingly love the Lord;
2. Voluntarily love the church; and
3. Freely serve one another
For they long for the day when
They would be taken up to the kingdom of the freedom of the Son He loves.
O Lord,
Though we decided to
Willingly love the Lord, the church and one another,
We are still struggling to do so.
Let this slave tendency disappear and
Let us freely love and serve as free slaves! Amen.
Our God is the Lord(Ps 104:24).
He is the beginning of all things(Jn 1:2) and
He is the Head of every power and authority(Rm 13:1; Col 2:10).
Faith is acknowledging Him and being governed by Him.
The life of this faith is about filling up in flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions for the sake of His body, the church(Col 1:24).
While head and body have different forms and functions,
They have the same essence, status and direction of action;
Thus, they cannot be thought of as separate.
They share the same suffering and the same glory.
They die together and live together.
Deceived by Satan, i.e., the devil, who
Denied the Head in heaven(Is 14:12-15),
Adam listened to his wife who wanted to be like God, and sinned.
As a result, they were banished from the Garden(Ge 3:4-6).
Abram was instructed by God and left his country(Ge 12:14),
Receiving the covenant of "I will be your God and the God of your descendents(Ge 17:7).
God went ahead of his descendents, the Israelites(Ex 13:20-21).
They followed the pillar of clouds and the pillar of fire and
Crossed the Red Sea and went to the desert.
They followed the ark and crossed the Jordan and entered Canaan(Jos 3:15-16).
The sanctuary where the ark was
Reminded them that God is their Lord(1Ki 8:23).
Jesus said, "Destroy the temple and I will raise it in three days(Jn 2:19-21), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would become the Head of every power and authority, for
He is the Word in the beginning that made all things(Jn 1:1, 10) who
Came to destroy the prince of the world and save the world(Jn 12:31, 47).
As He died, He said, "It is finished(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Died according to the command and acknowledged that the Father is His head(Jn 10:18; 1Co 11:3);
2. Judged the devil who denied the Head(Jn 12:31); and
3. With His blood, purchased souls who had been slaves of the devil(He 2:15; Rev 5:9).
Jesus rose from the dead and became the Ruler of the kings of the earth(Rev 1:5).
He sat on the throne and became the Head of every power and authority(Col 2:10).
The Holy Spirit came with the name of Jesus and
Testifies that Jesus is the Lord, the Head of the church(Eph 1:22-23),
The church is the body of Christ and
Saints are members of His body(Eph 5:30).
The people of the Spirit are
Faithful till death to the church whose head is Jesus.
With the church, they go through poverty, suffering, persecution and even glory.
With the church, they preach and pray to live the same life as Jesus, so that
As the Head Jesus became the firstfruit of resurrection(1Co 15:20),
They hope to also become the firstfruit of resurrection by
Remaining attached to His body the church(1Co 15:23; Rev 20:4-5).
O Lord,
For Jesus! For the Lord! For the church!
Thank You for giving me the church that is worth
My sweat, tears, treasures and blood.
Let no one use the church, but rather
Let us all be used by the church! Amen.
